Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 703: Chapter 10 Five Days! [Please Subscribe]_3

Ten years ago, he was just a young man, an aimless unemployed youth who idled his days away.

Even when the Metal Monster crisis struck, he barely changed, only transitioning from a home-bound couch potato to a dazed member of a small group.

But everything changed one day, six years ago!

By then, he had become a big fat man. Being able to put on weight in an end-of-the-world-like life shows how unique he was.

On the day of the Metal Monster attack, this man lost all his group members, he was prepared to wait for his death alone.

But a soldier, dressed in raggedy Hua Xia Nation’s uniform, appeared before him!

The soldier was very young, possibly more than ten years younger than him.

The soldier killed the Metal Monster that attacked the team, but he was on the brink of death himself.

On his deathbed, the Hua Xia Nation’s soldier handed his weapon to the fat man, telling him not to disgrace the honor of that gun!

And from that day on, the fat man changed!

In six years, he went from being a big fat man to a slightly overweight fatty. But the muscles on his body were real, and with the gun and ammunition given by the soldier, this slightly overweight man successfully killed no fewer than twenty Metal Monsters in countless crises!

Thanks to his numerous rescues, he won the respect of all humans in the region, and some even gave him the title ’Super Fat Man’!

Gradually, whenever people or teams were in danger, the first one they would think of was him.

”Actually, they are all worshipping the wrong person, I’m not that great! I just lucked out for six years, God knows if I’ll die on this last day!”

The fatty chuckled bitterly.

’Mr. Giant Mosquito’, who had been incredibly popular among humans, was fast approaching from distant Huaxia. He knew this.

Maybe it would arrive tomorrow, or the day after, but he knew that he would soon be able to shed the damn title of ’Super Fat Man’, no longer face life and death, and could proudly tell the dead soldier of Huaxia, ’I didn’t disgrace this gun’.

But against all odds, a girl just knocked on the door of his hidden home.

She said their survival group was being pursued and cornered by a Metal Monster, and she wanted him to come to their rescue!

It was just a Metal Monster. The powerful ’Super Fat Man’ once faced three Metal Monsters and still won. How could he lose?

But no one knew that each victory of the so-called Super Fat Man came at the cost of risking his life!

”The real Superman is that Giant Mosquito. Compared to it, I’m just a very ordinary, completely unremarkable little man. Aleksha trusts me too much!”

As the fat man turned around, he sensed some movement behind him, as his gun suddenly rang out!

Once the gun smoke cleared, there was no sign of any Metal Monster.

”This terrain really sucks for a shootout, damn it, I’m such a failure!”

Boom boom boom!!

The Metal Monster silhouette kept appearing from the ruins, and the fat man continuously fired his gun, but not a single shot hit the target!

”Am I going to die this time?”

The fat man’s blue eyes showed a hint of panic as he saw the Metal Monster continuously approaching him.

He fired his gun again and again, but not a single shot hit the Metal Monster.

”I’m going to die, I’m going to die, I’m going to die!”

As he murmured to himself, he kept backing away, but the Metal Monster in front kept getting closer, taking cover behind the ruins.

Although the Metal Monster wasn’t very fast, it was fast enough compared to humans.

The rusty joints made creaking noises. An otherwise comical sound, in the fatty’s ears, it sounded like the grim reaper’s approaching footsteps!

He knew he was not a real superman. He never was!

Boom!——

Just when they were only about three meters apart!

The Metal Monster sprung into action!

”Damn it!”

The fatty shouted. He knew that this might be the biggest crisis of his life in the past six years. The funny part was that this crisis happened just before he was about to see a bright future.

He felt that he, a small fry, might die before the light of hope arrived. After all, he was just a small fry, not a ’Superman’ at all!

The Metal Monster, leaping towards him at an incredible speed, looked so clear in his eyes. He could see the red light flashing from the gun barrel on its head. His only doubt was whether this Metal Monster, which was about to fly to his head, would shoot him with the red light, piercing his brain, or use its hard gun barrel to smash his skull!

But his doubt was destined to remain unanswered!

Just as they closed in on each other, and the fatty was about to die, at that very moment!

Boom!!!!——

A crisp explosion occurred right beside him.

The fatty, with his wide eyes, watched everything that happened right before his eyes.

He only saw the Metal Monster, which was supposed to kill him, suddenly disintegrate in front of him, explode with a crisp sound, and scatter into countless metal parts.

”What the hell...”

He gaped in astonishment.

The next moment, a dark figure overhead blocked the entire sky.

When he looked up, the figure had flown far away. But he could vaguely make out, through the receding figure, a resemblance between this gigantic figure and a mosquito on Earth!

”Giant Mosquito?... Hahaha, God hasn’t given up on me...” The fatty burst into laughter. He laughed so hard that he started to cry.

It was unclear whether he was laughing or crying.

Plip.
