”Don’t underestimate yourself so much. It’s rumored that some of them had learning experiences during the era of the Metal Monsters. If we work hard, we might just surpass them next semester!”

A female student pouted and walked between the two male students, looking at the white clouds in the sky.

White clouds, once seldom seen half a year ago, had now become ordinary scenes that could be seen every day. The so-called smog had long disappeared.

”Ha-ha, that’s the spirit! But what I’m looking forward to most is, not surpassing them in six months, but awakening my Brainwave Power Talent and joining the ’Superpower Academy’ as one progressing on the road of the strong!”

The student who spoke first had a look of excitement and anticipation, greatly looking forward to the so-called ’Superpower Academy’.

”Ha-ha, you? At present, there are no more than fifteen thousand people on Earth who have been confirmed to possess superpowers. Most of these are either too old or lack sufficient talent, and there are only about six thousand who can actually enter the Superpower Academy. It’s one in ten thousand, and you still want to get in!”

The other students scoffed at this student’s ambitions.

The student in question knew he had overstated his case.

Eight months had passed, and the people of Earth had a new hierarchy, almost akin to some extraterrestrial civilizations, but it was impossible to recover the old cultural chasm so easily.

Thankfully, a new value system was gradually becoming the new compass for Earth people.

The so-called ’Superpower Users’, or those with Brainwave Power Talent, had become the sector of society that Earth people most admired and had the most interest in.

As the name implies, this group of people are those who have been enlisted by Big Mosquito through its detection system. However, even with relaxed criteria concerning age and degree of talent, only about six thousand Brainwave Power Talented individuals were identified for development amongst Earth people.

Those who had some dissatisfaction with Big Mosquito now found themselves the envy of many Earth people. Like these students, they all very much wished to become Brainwave Power Talented Strongmen.

The student who was mocked looked at the other students with a sense of helplessness.

”Do I really have no talent? Maybe I’m overthinking. According to the manual issued by the school, I’ve been trying to use Brainwave Power for so long, and I still can’t apply any power, showing that I’m not one of the gifted prodigies.”

The child was very depressed. After the other students left one by one, he leaned against the mast of the ship, lost in thought.

Finally, as if driven by some intuition, he gingerly extended his hand...

Maybe the others’ mockery had become his motivation.

Bang!

The ocean water suddenly stirred...

”What?!”

The student rubbed his eyes in disbelief and tried again.

Bang!

The ocean water was lifted again. Although the wave height was not significant, it was enough for this student to confirm his success!

”Ha-ha! I did it! I really did it! I’m a superpower user!”

Laughter rang out on the boat from this overjoyed child.

There were many similar incidents happening all over the world.

”Earth people are still discovering Brainwave Power. It seems that because they had never encountered Brainwave Power before, even though there is a basic textbook, many people have suppressed their talents. I think there might be many more examples like this!”

In the sky, Noodle Man was aboard a massive ’floating’ building.

This structure was more than fifty kilometers above the ground.

However, there was a long cable connecting the ground to this place, allowing goods and even small flying machines to reach it.

This setup made things a lot more convenient. At such a height of fifty kilometers, there was basically no danger of falling to Earth, and the environment was almost a vacuum with no gravity.

In his office, Noodle Man was contemplating the story of that student.

He felt that Earth people might have more potential in Brainwave Power than what appeared.

”But even if there really is potential, it’s already too late for the impending battle!”

After a while, Noodle Man finally put down the report about the student.

”Lord, the Space Monitoring Station has reported a distortion in space beyond the Solar System!”

Upon hearing a report from a Earth scientist, Noodle Man immediately left his office.

He went to a room with many instruments. Not only were there researchers from Earth City busily working, but also more than twenty Earth scientists!

After a year of training, Earth’s scientists could generally lend a hand. They undertook some basic R&D tasks, and monitoring duties were also within their scope of work.

”The Space Monitoring Station has sent a signal, and the analysis shows that there are fluctuations in space curvature, which clearly indicates that something is coming!”

The Earth City scholar handed Noodle Man a report.

After reading the report, Noodle Man didn’t say anything. He immediately returned to his office and picked up a red communicator...
