One by one, the Earth people were brought to a gathering point. There, in addition to neatly arranged houses, towering factories sprang up in the center. These factories were to become a significant part of the life of each Earthling for the next few years!

In order to counter the incoming alien spaceship, the entire Earth must rally together!

”Alright, the Earth people are set. I must exert myself as well. Once the initial phase has passed, I will find my personal strength insufficient. So, what I need to do right now isn’t about aiding their construction!”

A sharpened glint flashed across Compound Eyes, and Jia Yan flew off.

Only in the middle of the flickering and howling of the sky did he find the air of Earth overwhelmingly intoxicating. Having grown accustomed to the air of grey-yellow stars, Jia Yan found every breath of Earth air increasingly refreshing, something he could not let go of.

The mutation had caused his respiratory system to evolve significantly, resulting in a unique organ that was different from that of ordinary animals. At this moment, these organs seemed to be emitting an incredibly comfortable sound.

If it wasn’t for his slightly insufficient foundation, he could have mutated by now!

Of course, he still needed some time. It might not be possible to undergo another mutation in the near future.

”What I need to do now, is head there!”

The Big Mosquito cut swiftly through the sky.

From Shanghai City, he arrived in the north of Huaxia, where he had once been, and even where he had staged the crucial first mutation of his life - Changtu City.

Changtu City was where Jia Yan first mutated and also where he set foot on the path to power as a Big Mosquito. After many years, Jia Yan could no longer recognise the scenery of old.

Because of the onslaught of the metal monsters, this place was a significant outlet for them, making it incredibly desolate with ruins everywhere. Countless buildings had collapsed, and there was a sense of desolation as if it had been abandoned for a long time.

”Sigh.” Jia Yan let out a long sigh from the bottom of his heart.

He didn’t linger for long amongst the ruins of the town, but ascended into the sky, heading for the nearby forest.

”My goal this time, is that so-called ’Divine Object’!”

The so-called Divine Object was the machine capable of producing the ’Deep Blue Crystal’, which to him was no more than a mining machine. But for the Big Mosquito, it was a rare treasure. The scientists of Earth City had said that if they could get hold of a few such devices, they could be used as excellent modification materials!

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flashed with a sharp glint, and he swiftly made his way to the site!

He still remembered, when he used to fly within these limits, he couldn’t get very far even after flying for several hours, while now, this short distance was almost instantaneous. The change was enough to make the Big Mosquito marvel.

Beneath the sky was a small forest area that had been ravaged. Everything here was different from before.

The forest had almost disappeared, the land was cracked, and the ground was full of battle pits.

There were still many broken metal monster bodies lying on the ground. The Big Mosquito had not personally come to fight; his subordinates had cleared this area. From the fallen metal monsters, one could see the frightful scenes of the battle days ago.

However, Jia Yan didn’t pay too much attention to the battlefields below. He had caused countless such scenes himself. After all, liberating the entire Earth without fighting was impossible. Battles resulted in casualties, no matter how strong he was. Even Jia Yan admitted that many humans might have died from the fallout of his battles with the metal monsters or the Red Light Building. These were inevitable tragedies of war.

His focus now was on a massive burrow opened up in the earth!

The burrow was surrounded by what was left of some building ruins. From their shapes, it could be determined that they were once ’factories.’

However, the original entrance to the underground had been expanded to about five meters in diameter. It was so deep it was lightless, looking like a black hole that could swallow humans.

But for the Big Mosquito, the scene below was extremely familiar.

”I wonder how the Underground World has transformed, whether Giant Glires has become the victim of the metal monsters. But I don’t need to guess; I can soon find out!”

Looking at this big hole, long-lost memories were stirred, and Jia Yan almost felt like he was back to when he was just a tiny mosquito.

But he was no longer the little mosquito that was ten or twenty centimeters long. He was now a monster, its body reaching up to thirty meters long, its feet stretching over one hundred meters, and looked like a towering skyscraper!

Even the expanded five-meter-wide hole couldn’t allow the Big Mosquito to enter easily!

But this didn’t trouble the Big Mosquito. Digging a hole was a trivial matter for him. Although he was not an expert in digging, it was incredibly easy for him given his current strength and capability.
