Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3739  Rekindling Their Spark

Davis returned from an expedition as soon as possible. Schleya also returned as their journey was over after they made it back and forth.

He quickly went to a garden. It was also a long and wide courtyard filled with various kinds of flowers, courtesy of Bylai, for decorating various parts of the mansion. There, he spotted a lone white-robed lady seated on a hanging chair.

Her back seemed rather lonely as she kept her head lowered, making Davisʼs heart pulsate with pain. He felt like he had given her too much trouble instead of protecting her and giving her happiness.

However, he didnʼt hold back.

He went straight to her and sat beside her, making himself comfortable.

Myria looked at him and lightly smiled, ”Itʼs not even five minutes…”

”Aye~ What would I do if you flew away?”

Davis reclined back and rested his head over his hands.

”Then chase me again~”

Myria giggled ever so lightly, causing Davis to blink. Was she already out of it?

He felt that was fast but then saw her expression wilt slowly.

”It is unexpected we shared such a relationship a few lives ago… but it now all makes sense. The reason why the Grimoire of Fate chose you, the reason why I am able to summon it like Iʼm its master. Did it know of our relationship beforehand?”

”No.”

”…!”

Myria almost jumped from shock as she heard a strange, hoarse voice inside her mind.

”And youʼre not able to summon me as you please. I allow you to take control because youʼre one of the most important people in his life and the only one capable of wielding me to the fullest of my ability other than him. At that time, he didnʼt take action, but you were willing to do something to protect him, so I didnʼt resist. Besides, he hasnʼt forbidden me from going to you. Therefore, donʼt let it get to your head.”

Davis blinked as he also heard Fallen Heaven speak out.

This was something extremely rare, making him wonder what was going on.

Why did it come out when it rarely talked to him or others?

However, he was rather proud that it backed him up.

”Is that so? Iʼm glad to hear that…”

Myria uttered with a relieved smile.

If she didnʼt have full control, then that was evidence that she wasnʼt related to Davis. After all, as the superior or parent soul, she would have full control over anything Davis and Ellia possess otherwise.

She and Ellia may have separated their true souls by finally separating their soul imprints, but they still shared the same soul quintessence. It could said to be the same for Davis, but was that the case after his yang soul got cleansed by the reincarnation wheel in the Reincarnation Dimension?

It was hard to say as her understanding of a soul quintessence was still abysmal. She only knew it as an abstract concept since it was the very origin of a soul, something that she hadnʼt seen take shape even when she had seen a soul imprint.

Myria pursed her lips and lay down, lying over him as she rested her head on his chest.

Davis smiled, conveniently wrapping his arm around her to hold her close.

”What do you think? Are you still my wife, or do you want out?”

”How dare you ask me something like that?” She beat his chest, ”I told you I wouldnʼt leave you even if you were my enemy. Iʼm just happy that youʼre my son.”

”…” Davis blinked.

His Myria broke…?

”You think I would say that?” Myria stopped and almost rolled her eyes at him, ”Obviously, Iʼm still feeling complicated about this entire situation, but I still want to be with you and have your children. Nothing has changed about that, but Iʼm afraid… afraid that we may reach another impasse with how weʼre connected in the past…”

”...?” Davis raised his brows, asking her how so.

Myria bit her lips, ”The way the yang soul shattered and born anew was as though it was disguising itself if it didnʼt truly die as we had seen…”

”A disguise, huh…?”

Davis pursed his lips, ”I doubt that a newly created soul wisp would have such a Will, sentience, or instincts, for that matter.”

He smiled, chuckling, ”You donʼt need to worry over this matter, Myria. I, Davis Loret, born from Claire Alstreimʼs sacred womb and Logan Loretʼs vile seed, will not accept you or Jing Hua as my mother. That right solely belongs to my mother, Claire. You are nothing but my beloved wife, one who will bear my child, and we will live happily ever after with your sisters as we create a big family.”

Davis sang with a grand tone while he poked her forehead as though etching who she was to him in her mind. Finally, he tapped the tip of her nose, causing her to pout. She envied his worldview, which could ignore this issue or accept it with ease, but she also believed Ellia would not care if she came to learn about this matter.

In fact, she could imagine Ellia smiling wickedly and corrupting her, making her accept this matter in a weird way.

Shaking her head out of those strange emotions she couldnʼt process at the time being, she reached out her head and locked lips with him, confirming that this wasnʼt a dream but reality, one that made her understand that she was in love with him deeply regardless if he was her split soul or not.

”Donʼt say this to anyone else. Letʼs keep it a secret~”

Myria reeled back and placed a hand on her lips.

Her expression couldnʼt be any more serious, but she was incredibly sexy.

At that moment, Davis got a huge hard-on that he couldnʼt suppress, so he flipped her around and did the unthinkable of dual cultivating in the garden all the while, Myria shyly protested not to do it here but made a pleasured face every time she felt his thrust reverberating all over her body.
