Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3701  Fists Of Fury

Flamerose and Frostrose turned solemn.

Their path was cut off from both sides. It would be difficult to escape without receiving heavy injuries, at the very least.

”Hahaha! Make way for the daddy dragon!”

Abruptly, a brownish-gold comet crashed into their area.

It shocked them as they couldnʼt sense this terribly flamboyant energy practically announcing itself coming from the distance. It was insanely fast, which could only mean…

”Earth Dragonʼs Overlord Rush!”

Isabella screamed out from within Flameroseʼs beak, her expression turning into a pleasant smile as she knew who it was.

This golden comet smashed into the white-robed man who blocked their fleeing path and dragged him all the way to the nearby mountain and crashed.

”Hahaha! Canʼt fight back against the strong ones, can you!?”

Founder Rocksunder roared as he laughed, but his expression was anything but amused. His robust right hand caught the white-robed Immortal Emperorʼs throat, and the other hand held the dantian at bay, pinning him down. The grip was extremely profound, like that of a true dragon, and his King-Tier undulations only made it worse, causing the Immortal Emperor to yelp miserably in fear.

*Whoosh!~*

The black-robed Immortal Emperor appeared beside Founder Rocksunder like a shadow, his expression cold and deadly. He swung his hand, the dark saber intending to behead Founder Rocksunder in one move as it would sever his forehead where the soul lay.

Founder Rocksunder was just about to finish off his prey, but sensing intense danger, he turned around his head and bit the air.

”What!?”

The black-robed Immortal Emperor saw his dark saber get trapped within Founder Rocksunderʼs jaws. It carved through the edges of his lips but refused to slash further. He couldnʼt pull it back either as it was budged, so he doubled down and pressed forward.

*Crack!~*

But the dark saber finally finally shattered, causing his eyes to widen.

*Bang!~*

An uppercut from Founder Rocksunderʼs left hand sent him flying and a body came hurling at him, crashing into him in the air. Their heads clashed, causing their minds to rumble and before they knew it, they were pummeled down to the ground like they were malleable ores.

*Booom!~*

With a final punch, Founder Rocksunder intended to finish them off.

However, he hit nothing but an empty surface, causing a huge crater to appear on the ground.

Taking back his bloody hands while blood leaked from his lips as the sides of his face were slashed, he rubbed his knuckles and looked into the distance.

The two other Immortal Emperors also decisively fled using Escape Talismans after getting caught in Flamerose and Frostroseʼs soul attacks. They were phoenixes, so their nirvanic soul attacks would be powerful.

Isabella came flying down from the air space.

When she reached the ground and appeared before Founder Rocksunder, the latter cupped his hands.

”Sorry about that, Empress. It took a little bit of time to appear-”

”Many thanks for saving me! However, the situation calls for an emergency, as Crystia and Noctis may be in danger. Letʼs go back!”

”Ohh— alright!”

Founder Rocksunder shared the same vibrancy as Isabella. They rushed back, only to find Crystia and Noctis on a mountain cliff.

They heaved a sigh of relief as they saw they were still fine with a bit of injuries.

”Founder…”

”Isabella, youʼre safe…”

Noctis and Crystia were also pleasantly surprised. At this moment, Hayley also appeared from her hiding spot, looking glad.

They then reported that they were able to pin down Girias and Harmon as they focused on them. However, the two of them were slippery as snakes, managing to escape with Escape Talismans.

Isabella also sensed that Noctisʼs cultivation base fell to Level Two Immortal Emperor Stage, which seemed like a temporary increase through dual cultivation. He seemed more exhausted than Crystia, so she heaved a breath in relief, knowing that they also barely survived.

”But donʼt worry,” Noctis added as he conversed with Isabella, ”Since they used Escape Talismans, we shouldnʼt see their hateful faces for at least one or two days. In the meantime, the other Hidden Pagodas may be cleared, allowing you to enter the Immortal Emperor Stage.”

”Mhm~” Isabella smirked as she patted her frail arm, ”At that time, Iʼll crush their bodies into meat paste if I ever see their faces~”

”Ahaha~”

Founder Rocksunder and the others laughed. He was just about to say something when another person spoke.

”Isabella, forgive me… I went to protect my husband again, letting two Immortal Emperors escape… Did they-”

”Aha~ Didnʼt I tell you to stick with your husband, or I would look down on you?”

Crystia came to apologize with an embarrassed expression, causing Isabella to laugh before she patted Crystia on her shoulder, causing her to be more embarrassed.

”Killing others isnʼt easy in the Crystal World. At least, we should be happy that we managed to kill four Immortal Emperors.”

Frostrose reminded them.

Her expression never changed, remaining indifferent.

They looked at her and wanted to remind her that she should smile more, but they knew an Ice Phoenixʼs temperament. They only looked silent, but they were worse than Fire Phoenixes when it came to retaliating, so they said nothing.

”Isabella, I think your sisters-”

Founder Rocksunder was just about to remind when thick killing intent spread across the air. He became speechless, unable to believe they caught up so quickly while still being Immortal Kings.

Isabellaʼs brows raised as she looked into the distance.

ʼWahh~ Big sisterʼs killing intent that has buried millions in a poisonous world is still as terrifying as ever…ʼ

Her heart palpitated as she could instantly tell whose aura that was, but her heart also pounded with joy. She already knew they were approaching her. Forgetting her own safety, she shot into the distance for a few seconds before she finally saw a purple-robed silhouette in the distance.

”Isabella!~”

Evelynn shouted in joy. One could even sense the worry in her tone leave.

She had just seen the battle remnants and instantly thought Isabella was in danger. Fortunately, Isabella didnʼt appear wounded anywhere for the most part.

*Bang!~*

Their clash created a shockwave even when they only embraced each other, their bosoms pressing against each other as it formed a cushion- no, they stopped in time, relishing each otherʼs warmth as tears gathered in their eyes.

In the distance, Shirley was still catching up.

She looked at Evelynn with disbelief, not knowing that those scythes could even be used as wings if enough energy was expended on shaping them in an aerodynamic manner. It increased her flying speed by seven times, leaving them in the dust.

ʼFour-Winged Evelynn...ʼ Shirley rolled her eyes.

Nonetheless, she also caught up and threw herself into their plushy fray while letting out a peal of childish laughter, appearing truly happy that all three of them had reunited.

”They donʼt seem like inheritors at all…”

Crystia shook her head. The way Evelynn, Isabella, and Shirley behaved with each other made one wonder if they were sisters from birth and not participants from different powers.

”Is life that good under an Anarchic Divergent…?” Hayley asked with part doubt, part amusement.

”…”

Founder Rocksunder and the others all turned to look at her with their glaring gaze, causing her to suddenly feel out of place. She instantly recognized that she might be forced to join a cult or chopped into pieces and served in a platter if she doesnʼt leave.

”As a practitioner of tranquility, you need to understand which waves to ride in the cosmos in order to get to the apex with the least amount of chaotic atmosphere. I suggest you donʼt be near him if you want tranquility— haha!”

Founder Rocksunder appeared very serious before he abruptly laughed at her, causing Hayley to feel dumbfounded.

ʼYou donʼt seem like an inheritor either!ʼ She wanted to scream at his face.

Eventually, Dewzai and Rea Tyriel also caught up, gasping for breath. They finally knew how monstrous Shirley and Evelynn were, as their energy capacity seemed to be beyond what they possessed.
