Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2043: Overly Enthusiastic?

Davis blinked at this phenomenon, noticing it carving the surface. When the ray of crimson light disappeared, he saw that it was a pill recipe.

[Vigorous Heptagonal Emperor Soul Pill]

He read the content etched on the surface before he saw the list of ingredients and method of concocting. Instantly, his lips curved as a blatant smile appeared on his face.

The Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron had actually given him the pill recipe. Moreover, it was a pill for Soul Emperors of any level to consume, meaning that it didnʼt matter if it was consumed at Low-Level or Peak-Level; it would allow one to form a Sigil or also called a Mortal Sigil, causing them to surpass two levels with seventy to eighty percent chance on consuming a Normal-Tier Pill.

This proved that two or more factors were ordaining the increase in the quality of soul essence that Davis unceremoniously asked the Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron and found out that there were two intrinsic layers in soul essence, one internal and external.

As a Soul Emperor crossed from Low-Level to Peak-Level, the external layer of the soul essence increases while an increase in the quality of Sigils represents an increase in the inner layer. However, when the inner layer strengthens way before the outer layer, the outer layer will also experience a boost, allowing oneʼs soul prowess to become stronger.

But, what this Vigorous Heptagonal Emperor Soul Pill did was do the opposite. It harbored an unorthodox method of using the outer layerʼs soul essence quality to increase the quality of the inner layer, giving birth to a Mortal Sigil. However, his inner soul essence was already powerful, giving birth to Emperor Sigil.

Since that was the case, Davis had wondered if it would be useful to him but in the pill recipe was also a warning that was written that if the pill failed to increase the quality of the Sigil, then the concentrated energy of the external layer will relapse, causing the user to break through to the next subsequent level if there is one!

Davis felt that this unorthodox pill was practically made for him as he was still in the Mid-Level Emperor Soul Stage! Since the pill would fail without a doubt, it should help him enter High-Level Emperor Soul Stage instead!

”Alright, Iʼll release you in a decade.” Davis nodded satisfactorily.

After all, he obtained a method to increase his level without having to rely on refining soul essences.

”Master, this is my gift of allegiance to you.”

The Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron suddenly spoke, causing Davisʼs eyes to narrow.

”What?” His expression reeked of confusion.

”Master, Iʼve been nurtured by the Soul Palace for century millenniums. However, the person who created me mentioned that I am special and should not bind myself to the Soul Palace someday chose a person that I feel is special for myself to venture into the immortal lands.”

Davis couldnʼt help but blink in response before he answered.

”Now that you mention it, no Emperor Grade Armaments and Artifacts should be able to change their size, but you are actually able to shrink and enlarge. You are also said to be capable of handling berserk Peak-Level Emperor Grade Pills with ease. Originally, I thought it was some kind of strange oreʼs property, but now Iʼm starting to think that youʼre rather special.”

The Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron shook its body left and right.

”I donʼt know, but a powerful Soul Emperor like you once said that I have a powerful seal placed on me. Itʼs together with me from the moment I was born, so I didnʼt realize that it was not a part of me until then.”

”What the…?” Davis became shocked, ”Donʼt tell me youʼre a sealed immortal artifact…?”

”I donʼt know, but that powerful Soul Emperor was not the person I was looking for.” The Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron uttered with helplessness.

Davisʼs sapphire eyes flashed. However, he couldnʼt help but feel confused.

”Why me?”

”Because you managed to defeat the Soul Palace and conquer it instead of exterminating it.”

Davisʼs brows twitched, ”Youʼre an awfully bored cauldron looking for excitement, arenʼt you?”

”Haha. Now, use me.”

Davis inwardly sweated as he heard the Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldronʼs reply. Their last two sentences would sound totally different if he imagined the cauldron to be a woman.

Nonetheless, since it accepted him as its master, he considered releasing its seal but then understood that it would be forcefully made to ascend or probably destroyed by the laws of this world. First of all, could armament spirits even ascend?

He had no idea, but he could understand that those two reasons were probably why no immortal armaments and artifacts were present in the Fifty-Two Territories.

Davis then completely memorized the pill recipe and destroyed all traces of it from the surface. Understanding that there were about four main ingredients and a hundred and twelve auxiliary ingredients that were required to make the Vigorous Heptagonal Emperor Soul Pill, Davis checked the list of ingredients he possessed in his mind and found that except for a single main ingredient, he possessed every single one of them.

ʼDamn, I only lack a single one of them? But oh well, at least procuring so many resources for 600 Peak-Level Spirit Stone Vein Sources is proving to be worth it...ʼ

Otherwise, Davis knew that he would lack ninety percent of the ingredients required, including the other three main ingredients.

”Sigh, it canʼt be helped. Letʼs have the All-Seeing Emperor look for it...”

Davis took out a messaging talisman from his spatial ring and was about to activate it when a voice echoed.

”Here you go, master.”

Instantly, four jade containers fell before him.

”You…!”

Davis became flabbergasted.

At this time, four jade containers could mean only one thing mostly, meaning that they were none other than the four Peak-Level Emperor Grade Ingredients. Nonetheless, feeling stifled, he checked the four jade containers and saw that they truly contained what he thought of.

”With this, master only needs to collect the auxiliary resources.” The Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron proudly uttered.

Davis stared at the four ingredients placed in front of him, including the one he didnʼt have before looking at the Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron.

”Can you use a spatial ring?”

”No, but I have a storage space inside me, so I can store a lot of resources.”

Davisʼs pupils dilated as he realized something, ”Donʼt tell me youʼve been storing resources from the moment you were born?”

”Yes. If someone wants to learn a pill recipe from me or wants me to refine pills for them, then they should give me a resource of equal value. This way, Iʼve collected many ingredients from time immemorial, and itʼs all for you, master!”

ʼOye, arenʼt you a little too, no, overly enthusiastic?ʼ

Davis inwardly screamed.

What was going on with this cauldron? Did it hit its head somewhere? Why would it give millions of yearsʼ worth of goods to him? And judging by its words, it only deemed to collect the main ingredients of the pill recipes that it was aware of, so the possibility of it possessing the main ingredients for its pill recipes just went higher.

However…

”You… why didnʼt a single one of those Soul Palaceʼs Soul Emperors not plunder you? Did they not know what youʼre capable of?”

”Yes. Except a select few who naturally had their pride and disdained to plunder, not that they could even if they tried as some did try. As for the others, they all thought I refined the ingredients for myself and tasted them like some delicacies. They were happy to provide me with resources to receive my help. The last few generations basically knew nothing about my specialty.”

Davisʼs expression became wry. No wonder he didnʼt find this Profound Tyrant Veined Cauldron to be anything special. There were little to no records of what this cauldron could do other than defend with its monstrous durability and refine pills with its skills.

ʼFortunately, I didnʼt erase its spirit and deigned to use Soul Emperor Zealwonderʼs cauldron before...ʼ

Davis thankfully sighed.

”Fine, Iʼll accept you as my artifact, and I know this goes without saying but donʼt betray me. If you did, Iʼd kill you like I killed Elusivemist.”

”Naturally, something like that wonʼt happen. At long last, I found a human who could handle me. Thereʼs no way Iʼm going to let master go.”

”…”

Davis couldnʼt help but feel the faintest hint that this artifact spirit was a female. It had allowed him to form a bond with him just before he used it in the spirit lands to help Nightveil. At that time, he had no idea that such it possessed such thoughts about him in its head.

”Do you happen to have stronger pill recipes like the Vigorous Heptagonal Emperor Soul Pill?” Suddenly, he asked.
