Chapter 1477: Chapter 1477: Ye Fei’s Comfort

After a moment of silence, Sun Qian finally nodded gently in agreement. Ye Fei smiled, but her boyfriend was vehemently opposed. He shouted, ”Sun Qian, how can you trust this guy? He... he’s trying to throw money at you to shut you up, to make you endure it and not sue that bastard! Don’t forget, he is a rapist!”

Ignoring him, Ye Fei started walking out and said, ”It just so happens that the next room is empty. We can go there and talk.”

Sun Qian glanced at her boyfriend, said nothing, and nodded slightly. As Ye Fei walked to the door, she followed, but she still had one hand on her lower abdomen, clearly still in pain.

Her boyfriend roared in agony behind them, but... it was to no avail.

Ye Fei had Sun Qian sit down and also asked the female officer to take a seat. He said to the officer, ”Thank you.”

The young officer immediately felt flattered. She shyly pursed her lips and shook her head a couple of times.

”I came here today just because I felt I should!” Ye Fei began, looking at Sun Qian with clear eyes. Sun Qian was sitting across from him, looking very uneasy.

She was both afraid of Ye Fei, worried that he might threaten her or demand something from her, but at the same time, she felt she should be there. After all, it was Ye Fei, not his brother-in-law Liu Ming.

After a brief pause, Ye Fei continued, ”I just wanted to talk to you, which is why I came. Of course, first and foremost, I want to make it clear that I’m on your side. As for that bastard, if he doesn’t get a sentence of more than ten years, I’ll find a way to make it happen.”

Sun Qian looked at Ye Fei with an even more complicated expression. For some reason, she believed what he was saying, feeling that he might do as he promised.

Ye Fei smiled faintly and added, ”Actually, this is something my wives should be doing, not me, a big guy, comforting a girl. It feels a bit awkward.”

He glanced at the two women and continued, ”But I’m the only man in the Ye family. That bastard used the Ye family’s background to do his dirty deeds, so it has to be me who comes.”

It wasn’t entirely appropriate to talk to the victim right after such an incident.

But after seeing Sun Qian’s condition, Ye Fei felt that this ”innocent girl” was different. She was the one who needed the most comfort, yet she had come to see her boyfriend instead.

So, Ye Fei decided to talk to her more. If he could help her get out of this shadow sooner, that would be truly commendable.

”I hope that this incident won’t affect your future and that you can live a more wonderful life. I know it’s hard, but that’s my wish,” Ye Fei said. ”I’m willing to help you, and the Ye family is ready to help you too. If you want to move to a different city or change your environment, we can make that happen!”

Seeing that Sun Qian’s reaction wasn’t too intense, Ye Fei felt relieved and continued, ”The guilty will be punished. I hope the good people will be happier. Sun Qian, your life belongs to you. I’d rather see you on a broader stage in five or ten years than see you sink into despair.”

There was no need to say too many big truths at the moment, as they might not be absorbed. But seeing Sun Qian becoming calmer, Ye Fei wanted to say more. It wasn’t out of pity, but he just didn’t want a beautiful girl who had just entered the most wonderful phase of her life to be ruined by that bastard’s despicable act. That wasn’t what he wanted to see.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t change what had happened. Otherwise, he would have tried his best.

The female officer had been watching Ye Fei the whole time, her gaze both reserved and intense. She understood what Ye Fei was trying to convey. She was even a bit excited, clenching her hands tightly together. It was precisely because she understood his meaning that she reacted this way.

A person of such high status came in person to apologize and comfort her, saying a lot of things. This was truly rare.

She felt that Ye Fei was much better than what she had heard in rumors. His sincere eyes didn’t have a trace of pretense.

The female officer had already begun to admire Ye Fei. He was charming and captivating. The words he spoke were also carefully considered. He was worried that they might upset Sun Qian, but he felt he had to say them.

Sun Qian kept her head down the whole time, her hands twisted together, and she didn’t say a word.

When Ye Fei left the hospital, it had been an hour. He had said a lot, but he didn’t know how effective it had been. He had tried his best.

No one wanted such a thing to happen, and it couldn’t be changed.

When Ye Fei arrived, he brought a bouquet, and when he left, he only left behind the same bouquet. Compensation and other things would naturally be taken care of by others.

As for the media, Ye Fei didn’t plan to stop them from reporting. He believed they would report after carefully considering the situation.

But as the saying goes, good news travels slowly while bad news spreads far and wide. The news that a manager from Qiu Feng Group had raped an employee eventually got out. Of course, that’s another story. Ye Fei didn’t plan to hide it.

He had the security guards drive back first and walked on the bustling street himself. The weather was nice today, with a few clouds in the sky, but they were just scattered. The sunlight wasn’t too hot, yet it was still blinding. Ye Fei stopped and looked up at the sky.

For him, this incident wasn’t that serious, but for Sun Qian, the best outcome would be to pretend nothing had happened.

The worst possibility...

Well, Ye Fei still wished her to get better and better, rather than let this incident affect her life forever.

If she had a good mindset, she might even turn the misfortune into a blessing, because Ye Fei had already made arrangements.

As long as she didn’t give up on herself, her future life would be incredibly wonderful.

As soon as he left the hospital, an argument broke out in the ward. It was Sun Qian’s boyfriend shouting at her, and she finally couldn’t hold back her emotions and burst into tears.

From yesterday until now, she had been suppressing her feelings, even in the hospital, trying her best to endure.

After all, she was the victim, not her boyfriend. But instead of comforting her, he blamed her. What kind of situation was that?

Sun Qian’s parents hadn’t arrived yet; they were on their way.

After such an incident, Sun Qian didn’t know whether to tell them or not, but her boyfriend had already called them. The two elderly people were rushing over, their hearts breaking the whole way.

As for Liu Ming, after being kicked by Ye Fei several times, he was in great pain. Although he wasn’t disabled, his body ached terribly.

But the worst pain for him wasn’t physical; it was Ye Fei’s attitude. He didn’t plan to take care of him anymore.
