Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1474: Chapter 1474: Ye Fei’s Fury 2

Seeing the two security guards lower their heads, Liu Ming sneered and laughed, propping up his leg and shaking it as he continued, ”Look at you two, so cowardly. Let me tell you, I’m going to be fine...”

Bang! A loud noise, the sound of a door being kicked open, made the two guards immediately look up, and Liu Ming also turned to look, a look of annoyance flashing across his face, as if to say, who the hell dares to kick the door!

This quick turn of the head was crucial. The two guards didn’t react much because they didn’t recognize Ye Fei.

Seeing a young man walk in, their first thought was that he must be here to cause trouble.

But if he was here to cause trouble for Liu Ming, they wouldn’t interfere; in fact, they would be happy to see him get a beating.

However, Liu Ming’s heart skipped a beat. The guards might not recognize Ye Fei, but he couldn’t afford not to.

As soon as he saw that the man who walked in was Ye Fei, his heartbeat doubled in speed, from thumping to pounding. He quickly stood up, but his legs got tangled together, and with a sudden force, he ended up falling flat on the ground.

Ye Fei’s expression was far from pleasant. In the few seconds it took him to walk over, he had heard Liu Ming’s arrogant ramblings, as if he wanted everyone to hear him.

Liu Ming’s loud voice and those few sentences had made Ye Fei’s anger boil over. There were dozens of convenient brothers-in-law that Ye Fei could find.

If everyone acted like this, the Ye family’s downfall would be imminent. This matter could be big or small; if not handled properly and leaked to the wrong people, it could turn into a major issue, which would be hard to resolve.

Liu Ming, damn it, I’ve already had you restrained, which means I’ve made my stance clear, and yet you still dare to speak out of turn.

Liu Ming eventually managed to get back on his feet. His face was filled with fear. Ye Fei’s expression was terrifying, like a predator ready to pounce, completely different from the kind-hearted Ye Fei in Liu Ming’s mind.

His heart sank, thinking, Oh no, have I gone too far? Judging by his brother-in-law’s appearance, it didn’t seem like he was here for a friendly chat.

”Brother-in-law, hello!” Liu Ming forced a smile and greeted him with a bow.

Hearing this address and seeing the group of people walking in with such an imposing manner, the two guards’ eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

Even if they didn’t recognize Ye Fei, hearing that title, they knew who the young man in his twenties was.

Holy crap, this big shot has arrived. What does his expression mean? Could it be... that Liu Ming is in for a rough time?

The two guards quickly stepped aside, making way, and seeing the general manager following behind, they were even more certain of Ye Fei’s identity.

Ye Fei had already reached Liu Ming’s side. He paused for a moment but quickly kicked out, aiming for Liu Ming’s abdomen.

Liu Ming’s smile hadn’t even had time to fade when his stomach was hit by Ye Fei’s kick. With a thud, Liu Ming was sent flying onto the sofa, which slid backward more than a meter from the impact.

Who would have thought that as soon as Ye Fei arrived, without even saying a word, he would kick out first, sending Liu Ming flying?

Even the general manager, who had accompanied Ye Fei upstairs and analyzed his expressions and demeanor, knowing that Liu Ming was in trouble, hadn’t expected such a beginning. He wiped away a bead of sweat stealthily, not feeling sorry for Liu Ming but rather worrying for himself.

After dealing with his own family, would Ye Fei also turn on him?

Liu Ming, who had fallen onto the sofa, felt as if his waist was about to break. The pain was so intense that his facial features were all twisted, and he couldn’t utter a single word for a good while.

It took a full minute before Liu Ming could catch his breath. He clutched his stomach, used his other hand to push himself off the sofa, and struggled to stand up.

However, he didn’t dare to show any resentment. This minute of respite had made Liu Ming realize one thing: how he spoke next would determine the outcome of this situation. The fact that Ye Fei had come over in such a furious manner already spoke volumes about his attitude.

He put on a pained expression, bent his waist, and returned to Ye Fei’s side, looking thoroughly remorseful.

”Brother-in-law, I was wrong. Everything is my fault. You... you can beat me to death if it makes you feel better!”

Without hesitation, Ye Fei kicked out again. This time, his kick landed on Liu Ming’s stomach, with a hand in between, but it seemed to offer no cushioning effect. Liu Ming was sent flying once more, crashing back into the sofa.

It wasn’t that Ye Fei didn’t ask for an explanation; he already knew the whole story, even hearing some audio recordings. It turned out that the girl had been wearing a watch that could record audio.

On the way here, Ye Fei had listened to some of the recordings, which only fueled his rage. This guy had no shame left.

In his fury, two kicks were simply not enough. As soon as Liu Ming got back up, Ye Fei rushed over and delivered another kick.

This time, the kick landed on Liu Ming’s back, sending him flying like a rag doll. By some bad luck, he bounced off the ground and landed in a truly miserable state.

The two security guards watched with their mouths agape. They didn’t know Ye Fei well, only having heard some rumors. Seeing him like this... beating someone up, their backs started to sweat. They were glad they hadn’t provoked him.

The general manager, on the other hand, felt like his heart was about to stop. He thought to himself, This is just too... brutal. He knew Ye Fei was not someone to be trifled with and had an unfathomable level of personal strength, but... he hadn’t expected someone to beat another person like this, essentially just kicking him around like a ball.

He wanted to remind Ye Fei not to beat him to death, but by this time, Ye Fei had already stopped.

Liu Ming, who had struggled to get back up after being knocked down, was completely cowed by Ye Fei. Seeing Ye Fei’s ferocity, he dared not say anything else.

He just knelt on the ground, pleading with Ye Fei, his voice muffled, ”Brother-in-law, I was wrong. I was wrong.”

Ye Fei remained unmoved. If it hadn’t been for the words he had heard outside the door, he might have believed Liu Ming.

But after hearing those words, there was no way Ye Fei could trust him. This was someone who wouldn’t admit his wrongdoings unless he was beaten into submission.

Having committed such a heinous act, not only did he show no remorse, but he also dared to make excuses... Ye Fei was determined to let him know exactly what the Ye family’s stance was and what his attitude as a brother-in-law was.

”Ugh, brother-in-law, please stop hitting me. If you hit me again, I’ll die!”

Seeing that Ye Fei wasn’t saying anything, Liu Ming quickly added, ”Brother-in-law, I know I was wrong. Besides, it’s not entirely my fault. She was the one who seduced me. I just couldn’t hold back at the moment, so...”

Before Liu Ming could finish his sentence, another kick was delivered, this time knocking him unconscious. He collided with the wall, his head splitting open and bleeding profusely, a truly pitiful sight.

”Revive him!” Ye Fei coldly ordered. The two security guards immediately strode over.

The guards they had brought today were all burly men with considerable physical strength.

One of them grabbed Liu Ming while another picked up two bottles of mineral water from the table, unscrewed the caps, and poured the water over Liu Ming’s unconscious head.

Splash! Liu Ming, who had just been knocked out, gradually regained consciousness.

As soon as he woke up, he felt pain coursing through his entire body. He let out a cry of agony, but his body was restrained, and he couldn’t change his position to find some comfort.

”Unrepentant. You dare to defy me even when facing death!” Ye Fei finally spoke to Liu Ming, but all he said were these few words.

Liu Ming’s heart was filled with fear. He opened his eyes and looked at Ye Fei, his lips trembling, unable to utter a single word.

Liu Ming had never dreamed that he would be beaten like this by Ye Fei. But at this moment, he still clung to a glimmer of hope. Perhaps Ye Fei was just very angry and had taken out his frustrations on him. After the beating, Ye Fei might calm down.

As long as the Ye family intervened, his situation would surely be resolved.

But that was predicated on the Ye family stepping in. Otherwise, all his hopes would be in vain.

”Cough... Brother... brother-in-law, I was wrong, truly,” Liu Ming forced himself to turn his head and look at Ye Fei, speaking with great effort.

After speaking, he spat out a mouthful of blood, looking quite miserable.

Ye Fei remained unmoved. When it came to being ruthless, there weren’t many people Ye Fei was afraid of. Just ask some people in Beijing. He wouldn’t be swayed by Liu Ming’s pitiful appearance.

His face was stern, his lips twitching, the muscles on his face clearly defined, showing that he was extremely angry.

Upon hearing Liu Ming’s words, Ye Fei replied, ”Liu Ming, the Ye family has made you who you are, but it does not condone such actions. You dared to do it, and now you must face the consequences. I’m beating you on behalf of your sister. Whatever legal punishment you deserve, you must accept it!”

”I... I’m innocent!” Liu Ming felt utterly hopeless upon hearing this. Without the Ye family’s support, he was nothing.

If the Ye family didn’t help him, and the case escalated, he had no chance of winning.

Not to mention anything else, he hadn’t used protection last night, and there was no way to deny it.

Ye Fei sneered and said, ”You didn’t know, did you? The act you committed was recorded. The evidence is solid and in the hands of the police. The forensic results will be out soon. What else do you have to say?”

Liu Ming’s mind felt as if it had been struck by lightning. He was dazed, recalling the events of last night. How could it have been recorded?

”Liu Ming, in my entire life, I’ve despised people like you the most. You become ungrateful once you gain some power and lose yourself in your success. You never cherish what you have, and your greed is insatiable. I promoted you from an ordinary worker to your current position, and you still aren’t satisfied?

As far as I know, in addition to last night’s incident, you’ve also coerced and seduced two female employees in the company, right? They’ve already filed complaints against you. Besides the sexual misconduct, you’ve also embezzled over three million in public funds. Just because you’re my brother-in-law, do you think you can act with impunity?”

Ye Fei walked up to Liu Ming and continued, ”The money you embezzled was mine. I’m a generous person, but I hate it when people take things without asking. Even if you’re my brother-in-law, that’s not acceptable.

There must be clear rewards and punishments to maintain authority. You took the money without my permission and did things behind my back that tarnished my reputation. Tell me, aren’t we enemies now?”
