Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1461: Chapter 1461: The Tragic Patricide

An hour later, the father, suffering from both leg injuries and a broken heart, finally fell asleep. It was at this moment that Xiao Wu suddenly walked into the room again, holding a kitchen knife in his hand.

Approaching the bedside, Xiao Wu looked at the father who had never brought him any glory in over a decade and whose earnings were never enough to satisfy his spending.

The more he looked, the more he felt a growing sense of loathing.

Eventually, he steeled himself, raised the knife, and brought it down heavily on his father’s throat. Blood immediately gushed out.

Watching his father quickly lose the breath of life, Xiao Wu couldn’t help but feel a great sense of regret—unfortunately, murder was illegal. Otherwise, if he had live-streamed the act of killing his father, he might have made a considerable amount of money.

”Xiao Wu, what are you doing?”

At that moment, a voice came from behind. It was Xiao Wu’s mother who had intended to come in and clean her husband’s body. However, since Xiao Wu was blocking her view, she only saw her son holding a bloodied kitchen knife and didn’t see the full extent of what had happened.

”Nothing, just cleaning up some trash,” Xiao Wu said nonchalantly, tossing the knife aside and stepping aside.

As her son moved out of the way, the poor woman finally saw her husband, whose neck was still oozing blood. She rushed over, only to find that he had already passed away.

Recalling the knife her son had just discarded, the woman finally realized what had happened. She nearly fainted from the shock and screamed, ”Xiao Wu, did you kill your father?!”

”Yeah,” Xiao Wu casually took out a cigarette, lit it, took a deep drag, and said indifferently, ”He was useless anyway. He’s crippled, can’t make money, and I’m supposed to support him?”

”But he’s your father, your flesh and blood. In your eyes, is he just a tool to make you money?” Xiao Wu’s mother asked sharply, feeling a chill in her heart.

Xiao Wu snorted, ”Isn’t that the case? Over the years, what else has he given me besides some money? A laborer on a construction site, he’s an embarrassment to me.”

”You... you monster, I’m going to call the police!” Xiao Wu’s mother was both angry and scared, instinctively thinking of seeking help from the authorities.

Xiao Wu, however, showed no signs of panic and sneered, ”Go ahead, but think about it. Your husband is gone now. If I get locked up, who’s going to take care of you?”

Xiao Wu knew his mother well and understood what words would have the most impact on her. Moreover, being able to scam so many people online, even though the victims were mostly gullible, required a certain level of intelligence.

Sure enough, upon hearing her son’s words, the poor woman was stunned. Like all mothers in the world, she was still very forgiving towards her son, even after he had just committed the heinous act of patricide, something that even the most despicable person would find hard to do.

In her view, since her son hadn’t killed her as well, it meant he still had some conscience. If she could guide him properly in the future, he might still be able to turn his life around.

But if she reported him, it would be a capital offense, and he would lose any chance of redemption.

Seeing that his mother had been swayed by his words, Xiao Wu found a large plastic bag, quickly stuffed his father’s lifeless body into it, and dragged it outside. Although he was only a little over four feet tall, he was still a young man, and his father was very thin and weak, so he managed to drag the body with some effort.

Stopping at the door, Xiao Wu turned to his mother and instructed, ”Hey, clean up the blood on the floor. It looks disgusting.”

With that, Xiao Wu dragged his father’s body to the backyard without looking back, dug a hole, and buried it. He inwardly lamented that if it weren’t for the risk of being caught, he could have cooked his father’s body and sold the meat to those with a penchant for the bizarre or with special interests, which would have been another source of income.

After Xiao Wu left, his mother began to clean the blood from the floor and the bed, tears streaming down her face. This was all her husband’s blood, and she hoped that her son would heed her advice and change for the better in the future.

This poor woman was still holding onto illusions at this point, unaware that this was just the beginning of her tragic life.

It had been a long time since she had cleaned up the bloodstains when Xiao Wu’s mother realized that her son had left sometime after burying the body.

This caused her some panic. If her son ran away, not only would there be no one to take care of her, but there would also be no one to guide him.

If he got into trouble again and was caught by the police, and they found out about today’s incident, wouldn’t he be doomed?

Fortunately, not long after, the poor woman heard the front door of the house open, letting her know that her son had returned.

There were usually no visitors to this house, and although she and her husband had decent relationships with others, their son was so disliked that it was hard for anyone to come by.

However, this time, it wasn’t her son returning alone. She heard him talking to someone as he came in, ”Uncle Da Niu, don’t worry. My mom may not be pretty, but that gentle and weak temperament is just the perfect match for a strong and mighty man like you, right?”

Then a coarse voice replied, ”You’re right. I like women just like your mom!”

As the voice spoke, the door was opened from the outside, and the woman saw that her son was accompanied by a super burly man who was at least six feet three inches tall and weighed no less than two hundred pounds. Although the weather was still cold, the man was only wearing a greasy, colorless shirt that was unbuttoned at the chest, revealing a hairy torso. He also emitted a strong smell of sweat and feces.

”Brother Da Niu, what brings you here?” The woman recognized the man; he was a butcher from the nearby area, known for his domineering and somewhat twisted personality. No one dared to associate with him, but she never expected her son to get involved with him. This made her even more determined to guide her son properly.

Da Niu didn’t answer the woman’s question but instead leered at her up and down, growing more and more satisfied with what he saw.

It was Xiao Wu who spoke, ”Mom, Uncle Da Niu has been admiring you for a long time. Now that Dad’s gone, you must be feeling pretty lonely, right? Let him satisfy you.”

”What are you talking about?!” The woman was stunned, looking at her son in disbelief and feeling a wave of despair.

Facing his mother’s heartbroken and disappointed gaze, Xiao Wu remained unmoved and gave Da Niu a meaningful look.
