Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1191: Chapter 1191: Prison Turmoil (2)

”New here,” Ye Fei replied indifferently. Although the other party’s attitude wasn’t very pleasant, he wouldn’t bother with such a minor character.

His real concerns were his family and his women; those were the ones who truly mattered. As for how others treated him personally, he didn’t care much.

”New?” Scarface and everyone else were taken aback.

Although he had asked that way, he had already assumed that Ye Fei must have been transferred from another prison, since there hadn’t been any new inmates for several months.

At that moment, a minor criminal in the back couldn’t help but speak up, ”Brother Scarface, didn’t Captain Liu say that under Ye Fei’s rule, no one would be coming into Wanghai anymore? So why is there another one now?”

”What Ye Fei? Just a greenhorn. How much power could he possibly have? Once I get out, I’ll show him what a real boss is like!” Scarface sneered.

As the ”cell leader” of this cell, he had connections, specifically with the ”Captain Liu” mentioned earlier. The information about Ye Fei had been casually shared by Captain Liu during a chat, and since Captain Liu hadn’t been around for the past few days, they, who were cut off from the outside world, naturally didn’t know what had happened outside.

”That’s right, only Brother Scarface has the strength to unify Wanghai!” The other inmates chimed in, even though they all knew Scarface was just boasting.

This guy couldn’t even fully control a single cell; if he faced the legendary figure, he would probably wet his pants before even speaking. But since he was the boss, it was only natural to flatter him.

Besides, their conversations here would never reach the ears of that person.

”Hehe...”

After being flattered by his subordinates, Scarface was extremely pleased with himself.

He let out a few self-satisfied laughs, then took a step forward, looked down at Ye Fei, and said in a deep voice, ”Kid, since you’re new here, you probably don’t know the rules yet. Let me teach you!”

”What rules?” Ye Fei frowned slightly.

Although he didn’t want to bother with such a minor character, being swarmed like a fly was quite annoying. However, since he had come in under the guise of being sentenced, and he definitely wouldn’t be staying here long, it was better to keep a low profile.

Otherwise, if everyone got to know him but he kept disappearing, that wouldn’t be very good.

”It’s simple. Just help us with the chores and show some respect from time to time,” said a thin, tall man in his thirties this time.

Before Ye Fei arrived, he had the shallowest ”seniority” and was often bullied.

Now that he had finally become one of Scarface’s ”elders,” he was extremely excited.

”Get lost!” Ye Fei finally lost his patience. Although he had willingly confessed, he had been betrayed by his own woman.

Even with good reason, he still felt somewhat upset. Now, being bothered by these guys, he almost couldn’t resist taking action. If it weren’t for not wanting to make a big deal out of it, he would have already acted.

Seeing Ye Fei lose his temper first, Scarface was both amused and angry, ”Kid, you’ve got quite the temper, don’t you? Seems like you’ve been spoiled at home and don’t know how to behave. Brothers, teach him a lesson!”

”Sure thing!” As soon as Scarface finished speaking, several burly guys rolled up their sleeves and moved in, their faces twisted into sinister grins, ready to strike.

Just at that moment, a somewhat deep voice suddenly came from a corner at the back of the cell, ”Scarface, the saying ’a dog never changes its eating habits’ must have been made just for you, right?”

Upon hearing this voice, the burly men immediately stopped their actions, instinctively shrinking their necks, and Scarface shuddered.

They would never forget that over a year ago, when this voice’s owner first arrived, they had prepared to ”teach him some rules” just like today.

As a result, he single-handedly took down all twenty-plus of them in less than five minutes. Scarface had been bedridden for several days before he could get up.

At that time, Scarface thought his position as the leader was about to be lost. However, this person seemed to have no interest in it.

After teaching them a lesson, he quietly served his time without causing any more trouble. He didn’t even interfere when they bullied newcomers.

Over time, Scarface and his gang came to regard this person as a transparent figure who should not be provoked.

But who could have thought that after holding back for several months, just when they had finally caught a new guy and were about to show off their power, this big shot would step in.

Although he was puzzled and annoyed, Scarface didn’t dare to be careless. He quickly bowed and said, ”Brother Zhao, how could we have disturbed you?”

As Scarface spoke, Ye Fei saw a man walk over from the corner. He looked to be around twenty-four or twenty-five years old, not very tall, only about five feet seven inches, and had a thin build. However, he was an internal martial artist with acquired skills.

Such a level of cultivation was nothing in the martial world, but dealing with ordinary people was as easy as pie; no wonder Scarface and his gang were so scared. But Ye Fei didn’t understand why this person was helping him.

”Get lost!” The young man walked up to Ye Fei and shouted at Scarface and his gang.

The same word ”get lost,” but when spoken by this young man, it carried much more intimidation than when Ye Fei said it. Scarface didn’t dare to make a peep and left with his men in a hurry.

After Scarface and his gang left, the young man with the surname Zhao sat down next to Ye Fei and smiled kindly, ”Brother, don’t be afraid. I’m here for you!”

”Why are you helping me?” Ye Fei asked with interest.

From the behavior of Scarface and his gang, Ye Fei could tell that this Zhao-surnamed young man was not the type of warm-hearted good Samaritan. Otherwise, with him around, Scarface and his gang wouldn’t have been so arrogant.

The young man with the surname Zhao was also a smart person. He knew what Ye Fei was wondering about and smiled, ”No particular reason. I just think you’re quite rare. As for those people before, they didn’t even dare to resist, so I didn’t bother with them.”

Ye Fei couldn’t help but chuckle. This was indeed an interesting person. He extended his hand and said, ”Liu Xiaoman.”

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to tell the other party his real name.

From the conversation between Scarface and his gang just now, he could tell that his name had already spread in this isolated place. So, it was better to keep it a secret for now.
