Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1179: Chapter 1179: The Temper of the Police Flower

”I’m going to be out of town for a few days to take care of some business, so I won’t be staying at home,” Ye Fei announced during breakfast.

Of course, this was mainly directed at his grandmother and the little ones.

As for his various beautiful women, he had already communicated with each of them last night while ”going through the motions.”

The little ones immediately became unhappy upon hearing this. They all ran over and clutched at Ye Fei’s clothes, as if afraid he would vanish into thin air.

Ever since they had left the valley where they had grown up, their grandfather had been spending much less time with them. Now, the prospect of him being gone for several days was far from pleasing.

Wang Yueryao also felt a pang of reluctance, but she understood that her grandson bore the responsibility of the entire Lingyun Association. Thus, she didn’t dwell on it too much.

After breakfast, with the comfort of the other women and Ye Li’er’s example, the little ones reluctantly let go of Ye Fei, allowing him to leave.

Ye Fei, of course, wasn’t going to take care of any business. He was heading to deal with the rape case.

It was best if his grandmother didn’t know about it, and Ye Fei was confident that she wouldn’t. His grandmother loved the atmosphere at home and enjoyed playing with the little ones. W

ithout him and his sister around, she wouldn’t even step outside the door. Moreover, although she used the internet, she mostly played QQ games with the children and never paid attention to gossip or news.

However, Ye Fei had overlooked something. Tencent had a rather annoying feature: news pop-up windows that would occasionally appear. It was this unassuming little feature that, by chance, led Wang Yueryao to discover the rape case.

She then found out about Ye Fei’s promiscuity and eventually learned about his incestuous relationships with the women in the house, including his mother.

This discovery would eventually trigger a huge upheaval. But that’s a story for another time.

Unaware that a crisis was quietly approaching, Ye Fei, as usual, drove out of the villa with his sister.

But as soon as they were out of the gate, he got out of the car and had his sister drive away on her own. He then strode towards an inconspicuous corner, a small vacant lot between the Liu family villa and another standalone house.

Normally, this place was empty, but now it was occupied by a police car.

Ye Fei was both surprised and unsurprised by the presence of the police car. He had been thinking all morning about how and where the police would ask him to ”assist with the investigation.” He had guessed that the most likely place would be at the school gate, but to his surprise, they had come to the villa.

However, instead of going inside, they had waited outside, which made Ye Fei quite pleased with the officer in charge of ”arresting” him.

When Ye Fei approached the car and saw who was inside, his satisfaction grew. There were two people in the police car.

One was a young male officer sitting in the driver’s seat, who appeared quite nervous in front of Ye Fei.

The other was an incredibly beautiful and curvaceous policewoman. Compared to the young driver’s nervousness, her pretty face was as cold as ice. The phrase ”her name suits her” couldn’t be more fitting.

Ye Fei didn’t hesitate at all. As if he were getting into an old friend’s car, he opened the back door and got in. He then smiled at Leng Yan, who was sitting in the passenger seat, and said, ”Thank you, Officer Leng, for not going inside to arrest me.”

”There’s no need. Mayor Liu also lives here, and we just didn’t want to disturb her,” Leng Yan replied indifferently.

It was unclear whether she was acting aloof because there was an outsider present, because she was on official duty, or because she was upset with Ye Fei.

She didn’t show the cute, feminine side she had displayed in their previous encounters but instead maintained a cold, professional demeanor.

Ye Fei had already considered Leng Yan as his woman and understood her personality, so he didn’t mind her attitude. He continued, ”But I’m curious. This case should be a criminal one. Why did they send the head of the Anti-Crime Unit like you? Are my sworn sister’s people just slacking off?”

”We’ve established a special task force for this case, and I’m the person in charge,” Leng Yan explained, feeling a bit embarrassed inside.

She knew full well that the higher-ups had formed this so-called task force for one reason only: to have her take the lead in the arrest, so they wouldn’t have to deal with Ye Fei themselves. It was awkward for Leng Yan, who took pride in her career, to see her colleagues and superiors act this way.

Seeing Leng Yan’s continued coldness, Ye Fei lost interest in talking and simply closed his eyes to rest.

Half an hour later, the police car pulled into the municipal bureau. Only then did Ye Fei get out of the car with Leng Yan and the young officer.

Under normal circumstances, this would be the busiest time at the police station, but today, they hadn’t encountered a single officer on their way in.

Even after entering the office building, the young officer who had come with them excused himself to use the restroom, clearly not wanting to be seen with Ye Fei at this sensitive moment, for fear of incurring his wrath.

However, this worked in Ye Fei’s favor. With no one else around, he could unabashedly admire the policewoman’s graceful yet spirited gait as he followed her. Especially her plump, firm buttocks, which strained against the rather loose trousers, swayed gently with each step, captivating Ye Fei’s attention.

Leng Yan led Ye Fei into an interrogation room and took a seat at the table first, gesturing for him to sit in the chair opposite her.

”Tell me, Officer Leng, are you going to ask me my name and gender again?” Ye Fei walked over, sat down on the chair, crossed his legs, and asked with a grin.

Ye Fei’s words reminded Leng Yan of their first encounter, and she couldn’t help but smile. But then she remembered how annoying he could be and quickly put on her cold face again.

Seeing Leng Yan’s reaction, Ye Fei felt a bit puzzled. Although the policewoman was usually aloof, she hadn’t acted this way since they had shared some flirtatious moments.

Why was she being so cold now?

He said, ”Officer Leng, there’s no one else here. You don’t have to be so formal, okay? It’s making me feel the pressure.”

Ever since she had unconsciously developed feelings for Ye Fei, Leng Yan had always found it hard to resist his teasing. But for some reason, seeing his smug, playful expression today made her even more upset. She snapped, ”Stop talking nonsense and sit up straight!”
