Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 322 I Say Itʼs Fine!

Even Zhang Yide, known for his composure, could no longer sit still. He spoke up, ”Ye Fei, donʼt take this lightly. While we do have some strength, itʼs nowhere near enough to confront the regular military!” In his urgency, he directly used Ye Feiʼs first name.

”Uncle De, calm down,” Ye Fei said with a smile. ”Let me ask you all, have they explicitly said they want to ban the Lingyun Society? I mean, is it in their official documents?”

Zhang Yide replied, ”No, they havenʼt. They just mentioned banning a terrorist organization in the southeast region. But isnʼt that clearly referring to us?”

”Who said weʼre a terrorist organization? Weʼre just a civilian association, arenʼt we?” Ye Fei argued.

”If they really intended to target us, they would name us outright. Since they havenʼt, it means theyʼre not willing to take us on.”

His confidence stemmed from the fact that he hadnʼt received any insider information.

If the government truly planned to move against the Lingyun Society, the Special Forces would definitely be deployed.

However, with his connections in the national Special Forces, he hadnʼt heard a single rumor.

Wasnʼt that telling enough?

”But weʼre still just a civilian association. We canʼt possibly stand up to the state apparatus. What do they have to be afraid of?” Ye Xuan still had her doubts.

”Youʼre only seeing the surface,” Ye Fei paused for a moment, and seeing that no one responded, he continued with confidence, ”Let me tell you responsibly, itʼs me, Ye Fei, who holds the real power in the southeast! Never mind my connections in the military and political circles.

Just consider the formidable strength of our Lingyun Society. Do you really think a weak regime, which even dares not confront a small country like Japan without knowing if it has the support of the United States, would dare to take on me, Ye Fei, without fully understanding my capabilities?”

At this moment, Ye Fei was brimming with passion, and his enthusiasm was infectious. It stirred everyone present, making them feel a surge of excitement.

Ye Xuan, Baldy, and even Zhang Yide couldnʼt help but feel a bit ashamed. They had wanted to share Ye Feiʼs burden and come up with a solution before informing him.

However, what they thought was an unsolvable problem turned out to be nothing in Ye Feiʼs analysis.

They all deeply felt the gap between themselves and him.

Especially Ye Xuan, her beautiful eyes sparkled with admiration as she looked at Ye Fei.

Little did they know, Ye Fei himself felt somewhat helpless inside. He couldnʼt understand why a great nation would cower in fear when bullied by a tiny country, not daring to make a sound.

And yet, when his own people merely eliminated a group of trouble-making gangsters from that country, the government would panic under pressure and stage a fake anti-terrorism operation.

If they really dared to move against him, Ye Fei wouldnʼt be angry; instead, he would be pleased to see some backbone. But they undoubtedly wouldnʼt dare.

This left Ye Fei extremely disappointed with the higher-ups. They were supported by the people, entrusted with their hopes, yet they failed to do what needed to be done.

Instead, they just coasted through their terms, considering it a success if they made it to the end.

This was not just their tragedy but the tragedy of the entire Longguo nation!

Ye Fei sighed deeply and came back to reality.

Seeing that everyone had understood and relaxed, he continued, ”For the next few days, instruct our people to reduce their activities as much as possible to avoid unnecessary losses. Then just sit back and enjoy the show.”

”What show?” Ye Xuan asked eagerly. She found listening to Ye Feiʼs analysis to be a pleasure.

”The movements of the higher-ups, of course,” Ye Fei said with a smile.

”Since theyʼve made a show of force, there will definitely be some results. Theyʼll probably arrest some petty criminals and thieves to pass off as terrorists. And quite a few officials in the coastal area will likely lose their positions.”

”I hope they donʼt leave a single one behind!” Ye Xuan said bitterly. She had no affection for those officials. They took bribes but didnʼt do their jobs, and one particularly audacious one had even tried to take advantage of her.

Later, the entire Flying Dragon Gang had surrounded his house for a week, scaring him out of his wits.

”Boss, since you donʼt want to cause trouble here, how about we make a move on Japan? Are we just going to let them off the hook?” Baldy suddenly spoke up.

Ever since he had gained his powers, he had been fighting for Ye Fei in various battles and had become an extremely warmongering individual.

Ye Fei was struck by a sudden inspiration. It was indeed a good idea.

At that moment, an extremely radical thought crossed his mind. He said to Baldy, ”Baldy, once this matter dies down in a few days, take all the equipment and all the experts from Linhai and go to Japan for me. I want to turn that place into a military camp that supplies me with combat power!”

As he spoke, Ye Fei let out a sinister chuckle.

After all, part of the technology in his equipment had been derived from Japan. This could be considered a form of poetic justice.

Baldy was extremely excited and immediately thumped his chest, promising, ”Donʼt worry, boss. Iʼll make sure every man in Japan, from eighty years old down to eight years old, becomes your warrior. But boss, what about the women and those under eight years old?”

Ye Fei smiled and said, ”The women should be kept, of course. There might be some valuable assets among them. And those under eight should also be kept. When they grow up, theyʼll make a considerable force as well!”

Seeing Ye Fei and Baldy exchange smiles, everyone in the conference room couldnʼt help but feel a chill run down their spines. These two were definitely madmen!

After everyone had left, Ye Fei suddenly remembered the Onmyoji he had encountered that night. He warned Baldy, ”When you get there, never act alone. No one knows if there are any other experts there. Donʼt let your guard down!”

Baldy was absolutely obedient to Ye Feiʼs words and nodded, saying, ”Donʼt worry, boss. We know what to do. When we take action, weʼll have at least a hundred people in each group!”

Only then did Ye Fei feel relieved.

With hundreds of such experts, he believed no one could stand against them.

Even someone as powerful as himself would have to retreat in the face of thousands of experts like Baldy.

After taking care of the important matters, Ye Fei finally had the chance to find the subordinate who had accepted the task the day before.

The guy was quite perceptive.

Although he hadnʼt made any moves in the conference room just now, he had been waiting for Ye Fei not far away. Seeing Ye Fei come out, he quickly ran over and called out, ”Boss!”

Ye Fei nodded and asked, ”Is the person here?”

”Yes, sheʼs outside. Shall I bring her in now, boss?” the subordinate replied eagerly.

Ye Fei thought for a moment and said, ”Just let me take a look from a distance. I wonʼt reveal myself. By the way, how is this womanʼs loyalty?”

The subordinate patted his chest and said, ”Boss, rest assured. Her loyalty is absolutely not a problem. Moreover, her family is also under our control. There wonʼt be any unexpected issues!”

”Good. Take her around here and let me observe from the shadows. If Iʼm satisfied, Iʼll let you know what to do next,” Ye Fei instructed.

The subordinate followed his orders and brought a woman in from outside. She looked to be in her mid-twenties, appearing gentle and shy.

She even blushed when talking to people.

If it werenʼt for Ye Feiʼs extremely sensitive perception of peopleʼs energy, he would have thought she was an innocent young woman.

However, he could tell from her chaotic energy that she had been with dozens, if not hundreds, of men. It seemed this woman was a first-class actress and more than capable of carrying out his task.
