Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 313: The Beginning of the Counterattack (2)

Only Ye Xuan looked at Ye Fei thoughtfully.

Could it be that the ever-changing boss of the Lingyun Society was just playing around with her daughter to eliminate the negative impact and make everyone feel more at ease around him?

Regardless, Ye Xuan was grateful to Ye Fei. She once again marveled at his wisdom and couldnʼt help but wonder, as she had yesterday, if he was truly just a sixteen-year-old boy.

At that moment, Zhang Yide, who had finished handling everything, walked in and reported to Ye Fei, ”Boss, those people have been dealt with. Weʼve checked the weapons they brought.

They were made by large manufacturers in Europe and America, not black-market guns. They must have been smuggled in.”

”It seems their ambitions are quite grand,” Ye Fei muttered with a cold smile. He turned to Ye Xuan and asked, ”Ye Xuan, since the coastal area was originally your territory, you must know exactly where they would deploy their forces after taking it over, right?”

”Of course, but...”

From Ye Feiʼs words, she sensed that he was planning to attack the coastal area. She wanted to say that the enemyʼs forces were not weak either and that they should prepare accordingly.

However, she stopped herself, thinking that with Ye Feiʼs demonstrated brilliance, there was no way he wouldnʼt have considered what she had in mind.

Seeing Ye Xuan pause mid-sentence, Ye Fei knew she had understood his intention. He then said to Zhang Yide, ”Uncle De, gather a team and go to the coastal area with Ye Xuan. Follow her instructions completely.”

Zhang Yide nodded. Since the day Ye Fei had eliminated Ye Yu, he had been utterly impressed by Ye Fei. He would execute any of Ye Feiʼs orders without hesitation.

As a high-level expert who had also undergone instrument modification, he was well aware of the incredible power such experts possessed.

While Zhang Yide went to gather the team, Ye Xuan began selecting people from the uninjured members of the former Flying Dragon Gang who were familiar with the area.

Meanwhile, Ye Fei quickly slipped away from the crowd.

Around four in the afternoon, a very low-key business van drove out of the Lingyun Societyʼs headquarters. Behind it was a minibus, carrying the people Zhang Yide had selected for this mission.

Looking at the minibus, the former members of the Flying Dragon Gang muttered among themselves.

Judging by its size, the minibus could hold no more than forty or fifty people. Were the Lingyun Society really planning to use just these people to take on the force that had dismantled their entire gang?

Ye Xuan also felt a bit uneasy, but her absolute trust in Ye Fei kept her from speaking up. She didnʼt know exactly why, but she had an inexplicable confidence in him, as if following him would never lead her astray.

This strong, independent woman, who had never relied on any man even when her husband was alive, now suddenly felt a strong sense of dependence on Ye Fei. However, she wasnʼt fully aware of it yet and simply believed she had confidence in him.

Just as Ye Xuan and the others had thought, the minibus was indeed filled with the Lingyun Societyʼs elite fighters. But there were even fewer of them than they had imagined—only thirty.

At that moment, all thirty of them looked in the same direction.

Although they were absolutely loyal to Ye Fei and possessed unimaginable power, they were still human and naturally curious. Their gazes were all focused on one person.

This was a giant of a man, nearly three meters tall, a height that exceeded everyoneʼs perception of what a human could be.

When the elite fighters boarded the bus, he was already there, but his stern expression kept them at bay.

Uncle De had specifically instructed them not to disturb him; otherwise, driven by curiosity, they would have definitely come over to greet him. They really wanted to know why they had never heard of such a person before.

This giant was, of course, Ye Fei. He had a keen interest in fighting the Japanese and couldnʼt miss this opportunity.

However, he didnʼt want to reveal his true identity, so he used his Barbarian transformation, appearing in the group as a stern-faced giant.

As for the tactics to be used once they reached the coastal area, he had already sent them to Ye Xuanʼs phone inbox before they set off.

The strategy was simple: clear out the enemyʼs forces at each location without occupying the territory.

Instead, they would continue to eliminate the enemy until all their forces were wiped out.

The distance between the coastal area and Wang Hai City was similar to that between Linhai and Wang Hai City.

The three cities were arranged in an approximate equilateral triangle. When they arrived at the coastal area, it was not yet completely dark.

However, Ye Xuan didnʼt wait for nightfall. Instead, she directed the vehicle towards the nearest site.

This was just a small site located in the suburbs. The enemy hadnʼt deployed any significant forces there.

After dealing with the few thugs guarding the place, Ye Xuan didnʼt linger and immediately moved on to the next target.

These thugs were low-level operatives who would work for whoever paid them, without even knowing the identities of their higher-ups.

Therefore, Ye Xuan didnʼt really make things difficult for them. After a brief lesson, she left them unharmed.

This was all part of Ye Feiʼs plan. He intended for these thugs to report back to their superiors. He believed that once the higher-ups learned that Ye Xuan had returned with a vengeance, they would not be intimidated. Instead, they would likely attempt to completely annihilate the Flying Dragon Gang.

This would give Ye Fei the perfect opportunity to lure them out and eliminate them entirely.

The group began their operation in the northwest of the coastal area, fighting their way towards the city center.

As they targeted larger and more significant locations, the core members of the opposing faction finally emerged. It was at this point that Ye Xuan and her team truly witnessed the prowess of the Lingyun Societyʼs elite fighters.

No matter how many men or guns the enemy had, the Lingyun fighters could swiftly and decisively crush them.

Although they could still be injured by bullets, the enemyʼs gunfire rarely found its mark.

The Lingyun fighters were always one step ahead, neutralizing their opponents before they could even fire a shot.

When dealing with these core members, Ye Xuan was no longer as lenient as she had been with the low-level thugs.

After their intervention, few of the enemyʼs core members were left alive.

Many of these individuals were from Longguo, but they had betrayed their own country to aid the Japanese.

There was no need for mercy towards such traitors. In fact, if necessary, Ye Fei would prioritize eliminating these collaborators over the Japanese themselves.

Around four in the morning, the group finally reached a location close to the city center, where the resistance grew increasingly fierce.

During this time, Ye Fei himself did not participate in the fighting. Instead, he sat quietly in the vehicle, holding a long blade almost as tall as he was.

Although the two oversized swords had become his signature weapons, and only the special forces team had witnessed their power, Ye Fei chose not to use them this time. He opted for another weapon to create a false impression: that Ye Fei and the current barbarian persona were two entirely separate individuals.

This allowed him to handle matters that were inconvenient to address under his own identity, while also establishing an invincible image for the Lingyun Society. This would make both potential and known enemies think twice before taking action.

The reason Ye Fei held back was to train his fighters.

Although the elite fighters he had created were exceptionally skilled, they were originally just thugs who had never experienced large-scale combat.

Their previous experience was limited to wielding knives in street fights. Ye Fei needed to hone their battlefield instincts and reactions, transforming them into an ultra-powerful strike force.
