Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 260: A Blessed Spot in the Mountains (2)

The cave was cold, but it was better than the outdoors.

They had brought warm bedding and a small heater that could be powered by solar energy or manual cranking, specifically to cope with the chill.

In reality, with their internal strength, they wouldnʼt feel the cold at all. Liu Yiru had prepared these items solely for Ye Fei, who had ”lost his strength.”

After settling everything, Ye Fei lay down on the stone bed, fully clothed. Liu Yiru removed her shoes and lay down beside him, resting her head on his arm and wrapping her arms around his body.

”Are you cold?” she asked, concerned.

Ye Fei pulled Liu Yiruʼs soft body closer and laughed. ”As long as I can hold you, my heart is warm. How could I possibly feel cold?”

”Youʼre such a smooth talker!” Liu Yiru playfully rolled her eyes, but she hugged him tighter, feeling a sweet contentment as she leaned against him.

After a while, Liu Yiru suddenly remembered something.

”By the way, how did you know that was an array outside?”

”When I was sick, I used to study all sorts of odd things, and arrays were one of them,” Ye Fei explained. ”The one outside wasnʼt very sophisticated. If I hadnʼt been caught off guard, I would have noticed it sooner.”

”I see,” Liu Yiru said, her curiosity piqued but not suspicious. The more capable Ye Fei was, the happier she felt. ”So, apart from arrays, what else have you studied?”

”Oh, a lot of things. Iʼve dabbled in everything under the sun, but Iʼm most proficient in the unconventional aspects of computers.”

”Unconventional aspects of computers? Whatʼs that?” Liu Yiru asked, her interest piqued. She felt a twinge of jealousy, but also a small sense of happiness.

Ye Fei had never shared these things with her before.

Was it because there had been a barrier between them?

Now that he was telling her, did it mean something different?

”Itʼs non-mainstream computer technology. To put it bluntly, Iʼm a computer hacker, and Iʼm pretty good at it,” Ye Fei said with a smile, unaware of the turmoil in Liu Yiruʼs heart.

He had kept these things from her not out of secrecy, but because the time hadnʼt been right. Liu Yiru had always been the most important woman in his heart, his goddess!

”Hacker?” Liu Yiruʼs mouth dropped open in astonishment.

She recalled a terrifying legend from the past and asked tentatively, ”You wouldnʼt be the legendary hacker king ʼWeak in the Wind,ʼ would you?”

Ye Fei nodded. Seeing Liu Yiruʼs adorable wide-eyed expression, he couldnʼt resist kissing her thin lips gently before laughing and saying, ”Thatʼs right. I was truly weak in the wind back then.”

Liu Yiru was utterly shocked. Her question had been a mere guess, hoping to catch him off guard with the most formidable name she could think of.

In her heart, Ye Fei was the best, but she still couldnʼt believe that the mythic figure who could allegedly influence the economic direction of an entire era was the very son she had raised for sixteen years.

After the initial shock wore off, a deep sense of pride washed over Liu Yiru. She was now his ”girlfriend,” and while she didnʼt want anything for herself because of his abilities, which woman wouldnʼt be delighted to have a heroic ”boyfriend”?

”Tell me, what else have you kept from me?” Liu Yiru ”interrogated” Ye Fei, her tone playful and teasing. She was eager to know everything about him.

Understanding and supporting him was, after all, the duty of a ”girlfriend,” wasnʼt it?

”Well, there is one more thing. Iʼm actually the mastermind behind the Autumn Wind Group,” Ye Fei revealed.

The time wasnʼt right yet to tell Liu Yiru about his aunts and younger sisters, so he chose to disclose his involvement with the Autumn Wind Group.

”The Autumn Wind Group?” Liu Yiru paused, then realization dawned on her.

”Now I understand why Li Xueʼer suddenly wanted to cooperate with me and offered such a great deal. I was starting to suspect there was some hidden agenda.”

”Why do you think she has a conspiracy?” Ye Fei couldnʼt help but smile bitterly. He hadnʼt expected that authorizing Li Xueʼer to give the Liu family such a big advantage would instead arouse Liu Yiruʼs suspicion.

Liu Yiru said, ”Because thereʼs a widespread rumor outside that the Autumn Wind Group is actually targeting our Liu and Ye families. And I think so, too.”

Ye Fei was taken aback and asked, ”Why do you even think that? Is it just like what that person surnamed Wu said before, because of the name of the Autumn Wind Group?”

”Exactly! ʼAutumn wind sweeps away the fallen leaves.ʼ Itʼs clearly aimed at the Ye family.” Liu Yiru said somewhat discontentedly. ”I donʼt know how you, you big bad guy, came up with such a name.”

”But have you ever thought about it? The autumn wind only sweeps away the fallen leaves. For me, a leaf that has already taken flight, the stronger the autumn wind, the higher and farther I can fly.”

Ye Fei said somewhat dejectedly. ”I never expected that this would lead to such a misunderstanding. If I had known that Xueʼer would come up with this name, I wouldnʼt have agreed.”

”So this name was given by Li Xueʼer? It seems that she really cares about you.” Liu Yiru said somewhat jealously. ”And it seems that you also have a soft spot for her. You keep calling her ʼXueʼerʼ so affectionately!”

”What? Are you jealous, my Yiru?” Ye Fei looked at Liu Yiruʼs peerlessly beautiful face and chuckled.

Under Ye Feiʼs gaze, Liu Yiruʼs pretty face turned increasingly red. She lowered her head slightly and spat, ”Jealous? Donʼt be ridiculous! I donʼt have the time for that.”

”Since youʼre not jealous, then why are you speaking in such an unhappy tone? Donʼt you know that your anger makes me nervous?” Ye Fei said as he gently patted her big buttocks.

Although there was clothing in between, there was still a crisp ”pop” sound, which made the sensitive Liu Yiruʼs body tremble involuntarily.

Liu Yiru was both shy and embarrassed. To cover up her shyness, she shouted loudly, ”You big bad guy! How dare you hit me? Iʼll teach you a lesson!”

With that, she turned over and pinned Ye Fei down, spreading her legs and straddling his waist.

She reached her small hands under his armpits to tickle him, completely unaware that their current position was extremely similar to the woman-on-top position after that unexpected incident.

Liu Yiru didnʼt notice, but Ye Fei did. This made his heart flutter. He thought of the only time they had truly indulged in passion, a feeling he would never forget in his life.

With his mind in turmoil, Ye Fei suddenly grew bolder.

When Liu Yiru leaned down again to tickle him, Ye Fei suddenly cupped her peerlessly beautiful face, which was wearing a sweet smile, with both hands and pressed his lips directly onto her small mouth.

This wasnʼt their first kiss, so Liu Yiru didnʼt resist. Instead, she closed her eyes and enjoyed his advances.
