’Advanced spatial blades’

’Teleport’

’Demon hands’

’Absolute darkness’

’Shadow clone’

’Teleport’

’Mountain splitting sword technique’

’Slash’

It took a little more than one minute for Ajax to cut the three-headed serpent’s main head; however, it only took a little more than thirty seconds to cut its left head.

Once the two main heads and the left head of the three-headed serpent were cut off, its reaction speed and attacking power decreased gradually.

’Ding,

The host’s ’Aqua dragon bloodline’ is deactivated..

Not only the battle prowess of the three-head snake decreased but even Ajax’s bloodline was deactivated making his 10 times boost disappear.

So, overall, Ajax was still a little weaker than the single-headed serpent.

’Abyssal beast god bloodline activated.’

Without wasting any time, he activated his first bloodline and soon, started feeling the power building in him.

’After experiencing the 10 times boost from the aqua dragon bloodline, this three times boost is no longer enticing.’

Ajax bitterly shook his head as he continued, ’But still, it is better than having no boost at all.’

With that thought in his head, Ajax tightened his grip around the inheritance sword and rushed towards the single-headed serpent.

’Teleport’

’Swoosh’

’Slash’

’Teleport’

Currently, both Ajax and the single-headed serpent had the same strength despite the serpent being a King realm spirit beast.

It was mostly because of the loss of its two heads.

However, the fight did not end in the stalemate because of Ajax’s ’Teleport’ effect from his lightning cloud steps.

Every time, the single-headed serpent attacked him, he would easily dodge that attack with that ’Teleport’ and attack it using one of his skills.

With its reaction speed being so low, Ajax was able to cut off the last head of the serpent after fighting with it for more than 10 minutes.

’Thud’

The last head of the serpent rolled on the ground as Ajax landed on the ground with ragged breathing.

’Ding,

The host killed the three-headed serpent and gained nothing.

The system directly used the name he used to call the serpent and as usual, there were no regular rewards from the kill.

Soon, the huge body of the three-headed serpent started disappearing as small light particles started entering his head.

’Huh?’

Unlike previously, there was a slight pain in his head that surprised him a little; however, he thought, ’Looks like I will be getting some good amount of bloodline points.’

Just thinking about it made him excited as he was looking forward to the system notification informing him about the normal bloodline points he gained.

Time continued to pass and more than 10 minutes passed by but still the light particles were entering into his head.

’Maybe this is the advantage of having fewer spirit beasts.’

Only now, Ajax thought about the advantage because he could peacefully absorb the light particles into his head.

Even though moving around would not cause him any problems, Ajax preferred to bask in the light particles.

’Ding,

+500 normal bloodline points added to the host’s account.

’Ding,

+500 normal bloodline points added to the host’s account.

’Ding,

+500 normal bloodline points added to the host’s account.

Soon, Ajax received a series of system notifications in his head that gave him a pleasant surprise.

’What? Three notifications?’

Ajax hurriedly opened his bloodline management tab to check the total normal bloodline points in his head.

’Ding,

     Normal bloodline points:- 10700.

’I really got 1500 normal bloodline points.’

Only after confirming that the 1500 normal bloodline points were added to his account, Ajax revealed an excited smile.

’It’s time to upgrade the abyssal beast god bloodline.’

Since he had already received the target, Ajax decided to upgrade his bloodline before thinking about either fighting or leaving this world.

’Roar’

’Screech’

’Hiss’

’Thud thud’

Just as he thought to convert the normal bloodline points into abyssal beast god bloodline’s points, he heard the cries of many spirit beasts from various directions.

’What’s happening?’

Until now, the entire forest was very silent and he had to search for so long just to find a single spirit beast; however, now, the entire forest is resounded with the cries of many spirit beasts.

’Looks like my luck is good. Once I upgrade the abyssal beast god bloodline to level 2, I can kill them all.’

Ajax thought to himself and used ’Teleport’ a couple of times to the top of the tallest tree.

’They are...’

Ajax was shocked by what he had seen around him.

’Slash’

Before he could finish his words, the huge bird which he had seen when he had first entered this training ground grabbed him in its claws.

’Puchi’

After grabbing Ajax in its claws, it tore him apart before releasing him from its claws.

Ajax still had a look of shock in his eyes as he started disappearing from the training ground.

Once Ajax disappeared from the training ground, all the spirit beats stopped roaring and once again the forest returned to normal.

...

Outside the never-returning cave.

It’s been only a single day in the real world since Ajax entered the mysterious training ground.

’Swoosh’

All of a sudden, Ajax appeared in front of the never-returning cave.

’It was so powerful.’

Ajax still remembered the feeling of getting caught in the claws of a powerful spirit beast and being torn apart by it.

’I never thought my skill ’Emergency ghost’ would only cause me so much pain.’

Emergency ghost is a skill he got by forming a contract with Zen, the dark elemental spirit. With that skill, no matter what kind of attack he receives, he could not be killed; however, it was only once a day.

As for what happened in the training ground, the skill was triggered when the huge bird caught him in its claws and saved him.

However, that only made things worse for him because the huge flying spirit beast became even more angry as it tore him apart before throwing him down.

’Nevertheless, I have accumulated sufficient normal bloodline points. So, I can increase my bloodline.’

Ajax didn’t bother about the pain he received when dying in the training ground; instead, he was feeling excited for having enough normal bloodline points.

’Swoosh’

Just when he was about to convert the normal bloodline, the demi-human named Zaglanath appeared in front of him.

”How did it go? Have you gained anything?”

With a slight smile on his face, Zaglanath asked Ajax as he tried to probe Ajax’s gains from the training ground.

”It is not bad.”

Ajax replied with a slight smile on his face.

Since he understood the value of the training ground, Ajax obviously showed respect to Zaglanath who acted as the trial master.

”So, will you be coming back into the training grounds?”

However, no matter how much he probed with his eyes, Zaglanath was unable to see exactly who Ajax had gained.

”Of course.”

How could Ajax not come back for the training grounds?

So, he hurriedly nodded his head.

”Since you just got killed, you need to take a break of one month before coming back.”

Zaglanath stopped probing Ajax’s gains from the training ground as he continued, ”However, you need to pay an entry fee from the next time if you want to enter.”
