New Age Of Summoners

”What?”

Both the guild master and Captain Edmond raised their brows as they asked Ajax.

”That’s right! I want to destroy the assassin sect.”

Ajax seriously nodded his head feeling that they might think his words were a joke.

”It is impossible to destroy it unless the Protector Olek helps you. Even if we help you, we might only make things difficult because all the other sects will come to the assassin sect.”

”Yes, Ajax. What the guild master was saying is the truth. Even though the assassin sect is not liked by the other sects, they would still come to their rescue.”

Both the guild master and Captain Edmond shook their heads saying that it would be very risky..

”But, still, if you want me to help you, I don’t mind tagging along with you.”

Before Ajax could say anything, Captain Edmond spoke again with a smile on his face.

”Edmond, you...”

The guild master wanted to say something to Captain Edmond; however, he didn’t know what to say. So, shaking his head, the guild master replied, ”Sorry Ajax, I promised Protector Olek that I will not participate in the fights unless there is a threat to my mercenary guild. If there is anything else, I will definitely help you.”

The guild master sounded a little bit bitter while saying those words.

”Actually, I don’t need you to participate in the battle. I am going alone this time.”

Previously, just when he started his cultivation, Ajax thought of using Captain Edmond and others to take revenge against the assassin sect.

However, who would have thought that he would be confident enough in going against a top sect in the Zrochester province without anyone’s help in such a short time.

”Huh? Then?”

They were confused at Ajax’s words and asked what he really wanted.

”If I go against the assassin sect, what are the possible dangers I have to be careful with?”

Ajax looked at them with a slight smile on his face as he asked about the possible dangers?

Who would know more about the top sects than these two?

So, Ajax wanted to get some pro tips from them in order to not run away in the middle of the battle.

”Ajax, do you really have the confidence to go against the assassin sect?”

”They are more powerful than they look. Moreover, their sect is protected by many ancient barriers.”

They thought it was the new mission given to Ajax by his powerful ’Dream’ master. So, they were saying many things to check how confident he was.

”You don’t need to worry about me. I can take care of myself. In the worst-case scenario, I can take my master’s help or just escape into the Cursed Wilderness.”

To ease their minds, Ajax said what they wanted to hear first, before asking about the possible unexpected dangers while attacking the assassin sect once again.

”If your master helps you when you are in danger, then it is okay.”

Ajax was their only connection to the Powerful cultivator and they didn’t want anything to happen to Ajax. So, when they heard his master might come out to help him if he was in any kind of danger, they were able to heave a sigh of relief.

”If you are going to destroy the assassin sect, you should enter the sect before they can activate their barrier. Once you are inside the barrier, then you can do anything you want to do.”

The guild master thought for a moment and said how to take care of the barrier that could enter to stop the attacks from a King realm cultivator.

”The second thing you need to keep an eye on was the undead ancestors of the assassin sect. Unlike the other sects, who burn or bury their dead ancestors, the assassin sect would use some mysterious techniques to preserve their strength and make them into undead beings who would protect the sect.”

It was said by Captain Edmond who had a disgusted expression while saying those words.

”There is a small possibility of other sects helping the assassin sect if it promises good rewards for them in assisting in fighting against you.”

Even though they still didn’t have an idea of how Ajax was going to fight against the assassin sect, they didn’t ask; instead, they continued to give more reasons from what Ajax had to be careful.

”Last but not least, if you are successful in destroying the assassin sect, you will become the target of the ’Headquarters of the assassin sect’.”

Soon, the guild master ended his words making Ajax note down all the points in his head.

’So, I have to keep an eye on the other sects and the headquarters if I am successful in destroying it.’

Ajax didn’t think much about the undead assassins as he could take down anyone below the King realm without much problem.

”Aren’t you not going to ask how I am going to destroy the assassin sect?”

After noting down all the important points, Ajax asked the guild master and Edmond with a slight smile on his face.

”Of course, we want to know; however, we know you are not going to say it.”

Captain Edmond bitterly shook his head as he knew about Ajax, at least he thought he knew about him.

”That’s right!”

Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face as he continued, ”However, I can say when I am going to destroy the assassin sect. At that time, why don’t you watch and have fun?”

”Definitely.”

Edmond was the first one to nod his head because he wanted to see how powerful Ajax had become.

He had watched how Ajax started his cultivation journey and how powerful he had become to take care of the assassin sect on his own in such a short time.

”I will inform others too. I hope you will not disappoint us.”

Even though the guild master said he would be not participating in fights that don’t mean he should not watch them.

Not only did he agree to watch the fight but he also said that he would bring other vagrant cultivators and their disciples.

’If anything goes wrong, I can pick Ajax to escape from the assassination. It is not like I am attacking them. I will just help Ajax in escaping. So, I am not breaking any promises.’

At the same time, the guild master silently thought to himself as he convinced himself that he was not breaking the promise he gave to the Protector Olek.

”So, after three days, in the early morning, I will be starting my plan of destroying the assassin sect. If you are late, I am not to be blamed for missing my dominating fight.”

Ajax said in an excited tone as he waved his hands at the Guild master and Captain Edmond as though he would be leaving.

”Hey, Ajax, wait a second. Do you still want to go to that place I said?”

Just as Ajax was running away, Captain Edmond asked something that made Ajax stop in his tracks and thought about it.
