New Age Of Summoners

In the battle tower, Ajax’s opponent was none other than Elder Ramon. To be exact, it is a hologram of Elder Ramon.

”Is this why you asked us to leave our sprint imprints on our battle tower?”

After seeing his own hologram on the mirror screen, Elder Ramon revealed a slight smile on his face and asked Elder Esmund.

”Yes..the fight floor has six halls and each hall is guarded by one of our holograms,” Elder Esmund revealed a proud look on his face as he nodded his head.

’Interesting’

Everyone thought it was interesting and waited for their holograms to appear in the next halls.

As for Elder Ramon, he wanted to see how powerful his hologram would be.

…

Inside the battle tower,

’Elder Ramon?’

Ajax looked at his opponent and felt excited because he wanted to see how powerful a vagrant cultivator was and what type of skills and techniques they would use.

’Even though this hologram will be not as powerful as the real Elder Ramon, it is good for my practice,’

Ajax didn’t waste any time as he directly activated his bloodline and summoned his bloodlust spear and rushed towards Elder Ramon’s hologram.

’I will wait for the right time and turn this bloodlust spear in Heaven’s destroyer to destroy the hologram,’

Until now, he didn’t use the other form of the bloodlust spear; however, he didn’t plan to hide it forever, as long as the right time comes, he thought to use it.

’Haha...’

When Elder Ramon’s projection inside the battle tower saw that Ajax was rushing at him with full speed, he started laughing like a maniac before saying, ’Bind’.

As soon as he said that many green coloured vines started growing out of the ground and stopped Ajax.

’What the hell...they were soo fast,’

Ajax was shocked at the speed those vines were coming out and wrapping around his body.

’If you use vines, I will use their favourite thing,’

However, soon his shocked expression was replaced with a smirk as he slowly muttered in a low voice, ’Medium fire refining control technique.’

For the first time, he was using this fire refining control technique in the fight.

Actually, after upgrading his other cultivation techniques to level 3, he allowed his spirit consciousness to fill with the essence of nature on its own and after he was completely filled, he used 10000 units to upgrade the basic refining fire control technique to medium fire refining control technique.

’Ding,

Technique name:- Medium fire refining technique.

Effects:- 1) 50 percent increase the success rate while refining the pill of rank 4 and below rank 4.

            2) A very very small chance to have a special effect on the refined pills.

            3) When used in the battle, the firepower of the technique will be doubled.

Description:- A technique developed by the system after carefully studying the basic fire refinement technique.

These were the upgrade effects of the fire refining technique and as soon as he noticed that the vines were too strong to be destroyed by the brute force, he used the fire refining technique.

’Swoosh’

All the green vines were turned into charred vines before turning into ashes.

”I am going to win this round,”

As soon as he destroyed the vines, Ajax didn’t waste any time as he rushed towards Elder Ramon with his bloodlust spear and even reached him.

However, just when his bloodlust spear was about to pierce through him, he noticed a smirk on Elder Ramon’s projection.

At the same time, Ajax’s grip over the bloodlust spear loosened as he fell to the ground.

’Those vines are not normal vines. They were filled with poison and the poison will be released only when they were either burned or destroyed,’

’Aargh argh’

Looking at Ajax, who was rolling on the ground while letting out groans from time to time, Elder Ramon’s projection explained as he picked up the blood-red spear.

”Nice spear,” He praised the spear and continued saying, ’Time to end.’

With that thought in his mind, he glanced at Ajax and decided to kill him.

…..

Outside the battle tower,

”Damn you Esmund, why do I look like an evil cultivator?”

Elder Ramon was dissatisfied with his projection inside the battle tower and cursed Elder Esmund, the creator of the battle tower.

As for Elder Esmund, he just shrugged his hands and didn’t give any reply.

The other vagrant cultivators and personal disciples who were kicked out of the battle tower were looking at the mirror screen.

...

Inside the battle tower, Ajax tried to endure the pain and all of a sudden, the pain started disappearing.

At the same time, he heard a voice in his head, ’Master, I absorbed all the poison in your body and your surroundings. You don’t need to worry about it.’

The voice belonged to Bane, the poison elemental spirit.

’Phew’

Only after hearing Bane’s voice, Ajax was able to heave a sigh of relief; however, he didn’t have any time to waste because Elder Ramon would kill if he wasted any more time.

’Necros, come out,’

He didn’t hesitate to summon his most powerful elemental spirit, Necros.

Other than being powerful, there was another reason why he summoned it because everyone knows about Necros. So, he summoned Necros to stop Elder Ramon.

’Clang’

As soon as Necros were summoned, he summoned the undead soldiers before merging them into one.

The huge undead soldier stopped the bloodlust spear and using this time, Ajax distanced himself from Elder Ramon.

”You are just making things difficult for yourself,”

Elder Ramon’s projection coldly smiled as he threw the bloodlust spear at Ajax before focusing on the huge undead warrior.

Seeing the actions of his projection, Elder Ramon bitterly shook his head and asked, ”Esmund, what is the strength of my projection?”

From the mirror screen, he was unable to guess the strength of his projection. So, he asked Esmund while others also looked at Esmund for an answer.

”Except for the last hall guardian, the first five hall guardians will have the cultivation of level 1 elite general realm,”

Esmund answered Ramon’s question as he continued, ”However, your projection will have your 50 percent battle experience along with your all battle techniques and skills.”

”It’s impossible for Ajax to clear even a single hall. As for Levi, he might complete a couple of halls if he was in a peak condition; however, in his current condition, even if he defeats a single guardian, it would be a great achievement,”

Hearing Elder Esmund’s answer, the guild master said his thoughts about Ajax and Levi before focusing on Ajax and his elemental spirit.

”Okay then….I am bored playing with you for so long. It’s time to end you,”

Inside the battle tower, Elder Ramon’s projection looked angry as it summoned, ’Phanton eagles, come out and show your power.’

As soon as he said that, hundreds of illusionary eagles appeared out of nowhere and each one of them looked like a real spirit beast.

They didn’t waste any time as they split into three groups and rushed at Ajax, Necros and the giant undead warrior.

’Th...these are...’

Ajax was shocked when he saw the information of the incoming phantom eagles at him.
