New Age Of Summoners

Soon, everyone started rotating their main cultivation technique and used the incoming heat energy for tempering their body at various pillars.

’Finally, I started to feel some uncomfortable feeling,’

As for Ajax, he just glanced at the four young cultivators at the 18th pillar and muttered to himself.

’Looks like I can benefit a little from this and temper my body,’

Until now, Ajax felt there was no use with this body tempering training; however, now he felt that it might be helpful for him.

With that thought in his mind, he casually started moving forward without wasting any time as though he was walking in a park.

...

Somewhere in the Radiant sun secret realm,

”They were better than we expected,”

”Right. Four of them reached the 18th pillar and everyone crossed the 10th pillar,”

”However, isn’t it risky for them to temper at the 18th pillar? Even though they were able to endure the pain in the beginning, they would be burnt alive if they stay at the same place for long hours,”

One after another vagrant cultivators started commenting while observing their personal disciples from a distance.

”As long as they were tired and unable to endure the scorching pain, they would be automatically teleported to the first pillar. So, there is no need to worry,”

When he heard the last comment, Elder Seward helped them understand that there will be no danger except for some small injuries.

”It’s good then,”

The guild master nodded their heads while continuing to observe the young cultivators.

Actually, they didn’t know about the cultivation resources prepared by the other vagrant cultivators.

The thing is when they reached the peak of their cultivations, they learned many things and finally decided to take some personal disciples and after getting that thought, they started cultivating some cultivation resources.

Only for that reason, they took some personal disciples. Not because of Edmond’s suggestion.

From that time onwards, they secluded themselves in their own secret realms and started cultivating some cultivation resources depending on their specialty.

”Let’s hope their bodies reach grade 5 or at least peak grade 4 is also good,”

After glancing at all the personal disciples, the guild master said in a low tone.

That’s right!

Body tempering is a special type of cultivation that is classified into various grades starting from grade 1 to grade 7, which is also called as King body.

As long as a cultivator reaches the general realm, they would gain a grade 2 tempered body without anybody cultivation technique. However, to increase the grade of the tempered body, they need to undergo physical training that could improve the grade.

As for Ajax, he had long gained the peak grade 4 tempered body and just an inch away from the reach grade 5. As long as there was sufficient energy, his tempered body would be increased to grade 5.

Also, no vagrant cultivator bothered to take a look at Ajax fearing that they would die from the shocks given by Ajax one after another.

….

’Huf huf’

Soon, Ajax reached the 30th pillar and finally, he felt the power of the heatwave increased greatly.

If there were 10 times the power till the 29th pillar, the moment he crossed the 30th pillar, Ajax felt the power from the heatwave increase to 100 times.

’I was careless for only a moment and I feel like burning at any instant,’

Ajax didn’t think that the power of the heatwave would drastically increase to such an extent; however, he soon recovered from it and slowly moved forward.

’Damn...the increase in the power of heatwave is so huge between these pillars,’

Only now Ajax understood not to underestimate the resources that could be grown in the secret realm.

Nevertheless, enduring the scorching heat, he continued to move forward.

’31….32….33…..34’

One pillar after another, Ajax continued to move forward and after the 34th pillar, his footsteps became heavy.

After half an hour he finally reached the 35th pillar.

Just to move 100 meters, it took him 30 minutes. From this, you can understand how hard it was for him.

’Looks like this is my limit,’

Finally, Ajax decided to sit down beside the 35th pillar to temper his body.

’Endure the pain and move forward to the final pillar. An unknown benefit is waiting for you,’

Just as he was about to sit down, the old voice in his head which hasn’t spoken to him for a while now asked him to move forward.

’You can tell whatever you want but if you are in my position, you would understand,’

However, Ajax didn’t even think for a second before sitting on the ground to temper his body.

’Don’t temper your body yet. If you temper it, you can’t move forward and your body will become even weaker to proceed further,’

Seeing that Ajax was not following his instructions, the old voice in his head became anxious and hurriedly said to him.

’What are you even talking about? You must be joking. How can I become weaker if I temper my body,’

Even not for that old voice helping him a couple of times in the past, he would have already scolded it.

Suppressing his emotions, Ajax replied to the old voice.

’I don’t have time to explain to you everything. If you want to have a strong body, then you reach the 36th pillar. Okay then. I will go back to my slumber,’

Soon, the old voice seemed nonchalant and didn’t say anything to him.

’...’

Ajax was speechless for a few moments but thinking a little deeper, Ajax felt like moving towards the 36th pillar.

However, thinking about the pain from the scorching heat, Ajax unconsciously shivered.

’Huff...I need to do it,’

After thinking about the words of the old voice in his head, Ajax felt that there was more to this special training. So, he decided to move forward.

How could his body become weaker if he tempered here? Does that mean, all the young cultivator’s bodies would be weakened after tempering?

’No...why would the vagrant cultivators do that?’

’Is the old voice trying to fool me?’

All of a sudden, Ajax’s head was filled with any questions that made him a little dizzy; however, these thoughts helped him move forward.

’Only 50 meters more,’

While thinking about those questions, Ajax continued to move forward.

’Aargh’

Soon, small black scars started appearing on his skin making him groan in pain.

’Damn it...is he thinking of reaching the 36th pillar?’

’Seward, didn’t you say that they would be teleported to the pillar when injuries appear on their bodies?’

Even though the vagrant cultivators didn’t want to check Ajax’s progress, they were unable to hold it for much longer and noticed that Ajax was moving towards the 36th pillar which gave him a great shock.

Also, what made them even more shocked was, even when Ajax’s skin was getting burned, Ajax was not teleported back to pillar one making everyone ask Elder Seward.

As for Elder Seward, he also had the same look on his face.

”Finally….I reached,”

At last, Ajax reached the 36th pillar as he slumped to the ground.
