New Age Of Summoners

Ajax looked at the barrier for a couple of seconds before nodding his head and said, ”I accept your challenge.”

’Swoosh’

Just as he accepted the challenge, a black coloured hourglass appeared in mid-air and the black sand inside it went from the upper section to the lower section at a slow pace.

”All the black sand inside it will settle to the lower section within three hours,”

Jastin continued saying, ”By the way, I forgot to mention one more thing.”

He revealed an evil smile on his face as he said, ”Within three hours, you have to kill me; otherwise, you will die. Until then, you can’t escape from the bronze demon world.”

”That means, you can’t escape the bronze demon world either, right?”

There was no worry on Ajax’s face; instead, there was a relaxed expression as he asked Jastin.

Since it can’t allow Ajax to escape, then Jastin can’t escape either.

”Why will I escape? Stop talking already and summon your elemental spirits,”

Jastin face turned ugly when he heard Ajax’s words; however, he didn’t answer and asked him to summon his elemental spirits.

”You are very eager to die. Okay then….I will fulfill your wish.”

Ajax revealed a smirk as he called the names of his elemental spirits, ”Dabrus, Nite, Slait….come out.”

Even though there is no one to watch, he didn’t want to summon all his elemental spirits because he still didn’t know what trump cards Jastin had.

As for why he only released those elemental spirits because he didn’t want Jastin to know that he could summon various types of elemental spirits.

Since many knew Necros as his official elemental spirit, he only summoned dark-type elemental spirits along with the earth elemental spirit, Slait which was also known by others.

”You are a dual elemental summoner and if you are in my sect, we would have been good friends but….,”

Jastin heaved a sigh as he looked at Ajax with pity.

In the Zrochester province, becoming a summoner is already an incredible achievement not to mention summoning two types of elemental spirits.

”Also, your luck is so good that you found another elemental spirit to form an unofficial contract,”

Jastin didn’t expect Ajax to have another elemental spirit.

Generally, he knew the difficulties of finding an elemental spirit in the elemental spirit world. Finding an elemental spirit to form an official contract is already considered luck.

Even for Jastin, he was barely able to find an extra elemental spirit to form an unofficial contract with it when he visited the elemental spirit world in his third visit.

”What are you spacing out for? Let’s fight,”

Ajax didn’t wait for Jastin to start the attacks as he gave the order to fight his summons.

”I am waiting for it,”

Jastin came out of his thoughts and ordered his elemental spirits to fight.

He was a pure dark-type summoner. So, all his elemental spirits are dark type. As for his unofficial elemental spirits, he got only one.

Soon, the battle between elemental spirits started.

’Undead summoning’

Necros summoned his undead summons but he didn’t fuse them yet and wanted to see the battle prowess of his opponent which is a peak general realm elemental spirit.

’Magical beast summoning’

Dabrus excels in magic and he learned a skill ’magical beast summoning’ and summoned a rank 5 shadow rhinoceros which excels in both attack and defense.

’Speed’

’Swoosh’

As for Nite, with just a word, his speed increased by many folds and when he reached his opponent, he muttered ’Strength’.

’Punch’

All of a sudden, the strength of Nite increased by multiple folds and punched his opponent into the barrier.

’Sand dunes’

Among all the elemental spirits, the earth elemental Slait was in the safest place with an earth shield around him.

However, he used his earth clones and sand dunes to fight the enemy with a relaxed expression on his face.

Slait’s fourth skill was skill enhancement which increases the levels of other skills by one.

So, his initial one earth clone became three and the diameter of the sand dunes became even bigger with fire at the bottom of the sand dune.

As for the earth shield, it can block all the attacks below the elite general realm and  Slait’s enemy was just an elite commander realm. So, there was no way, his enemy could destroy the earth shield.

”Hmm?”

Seeing the overpowered elemental spirits of Ajax, Jastin raised his brows as he didn’t understand how his elemental spirits would be powerless against them.

’Where did he get that many resources to increase the cultivation of his elemental spirits?’

Jastin silently thought in his head as he scoffed at his own elemental spirits for being too weak.

”Waste”

”I wasted too many cultivation resources on you,”

Jastin scolded his elemental spirits while clenching his fists.

The fight between the elemental spirits was totally one-sided.

What irritated him the most was even before the battle started, his elemental spirits were not as excited as Ajax’s elemental spirits.

Moreover, he always treated these elemental spirits as his slaves who should do everything he said.

Also, he spent too many resources to increase their cultivation and when they can’t even defeat the other elemental spirits of a no-name cultivator, he was angered to the point where he started scolding them in front of Ajax and his elemental spirits.

”Just go to death.”

Jastin scoffed at them and didn’t bother with his elemental spirits.

Even though he said that he knew that having elemental spirits is an asset. So, he really didn’t want them to die and kept an eye on them.

If they are truly in danger, he would save them.

’What a pity,’

Until now, he didn’t bother much about Jastin’s elemental spirits; however, after hearing Jastin’s words, Ajax truly felt pity for them.

For an elemental spirit, as long as you take good care of it, they will go to any extent to save their master and even fight for him with great excitement; however, when Ajax saw Jastin’s elemental spirit for the first time, he already felt something was wrong with them.

After hearing Jastin’s words, Ajax understood what was wrong with the elemental spirits.

Take Ajax’s elemental spirits for example. Unlike Jastin’s elemental spirits, even though his elemental spirits were weaker than Jastin’s, they were able to easily win.

Moreover, his elemental spirits were greatly excited to battle before staying inside the inner world for most of the time.

”Okay, everyone. Time to end it,”

Even though he felt pity for Jastin’s elemental spirits, that doesn’t mean he should not kill them.

Because once they formed a contract with someone, it’s almost impossible to break unless it was an official contract.

Even that contract is very hard to break but it’s possible with little backlash.

’Ding,

A new system mission is generated. Please check the quest tab to see the details.

While Ajax was satisfyingly watching the elemental spirits’ battle, all of a sudden, he received a system notification that made him a little surprised.

’Don’t tell me, I have to help these elemental spirits,’

After receiving many missions from the system, Ajax could guess what type of missions it will give.
