New Age Of Summoners

From a distance, Rulf was unable to sense exactly what Ajax was doing; however, he was absolutely sure that Ajax was not resting to increase the essence of nature.

’Should I go near to him and observe?’ Rulf thought about it for a second before shaking his head and didn’t go near to him.

Since Ajax had basically saved him some trouble of killing all the demons in the first batch, he gave some privacy for Ajax to do his own thing.

’Phew...he is not bothering about me anymore,’ Ajax, who was carefully watching Rulf heaved a sigh of relief before ordering his system, ’System, continue the process.’

Ajax just wanted to confirm that Rulf would not observe him more keenly and once he was sure, he started his plan of using the ’Stabilizing crystal’.

As soon as he ordered the system, the bone-wrecking pain appeared all over his body; however, the pain was within his endurance. So, he was able to endure it without making any noise.

’Looks like the fire tempering and lightning tempering is more useful than I thought,’ Ajax heaved a sigh of relief thinking back to the temperings his body had gone through.

Because of that, his body was completely immune to most of the pains.

’Aargh’

Just as he was heaving a sigh of relief, a sudden pain appeared in his spirit consciousness. It was so sudden that Ajax was unable to endure it and let out a pained shout from his mouth.

’Huh?’

Although Ajax quickly closed his mouth to stop the pained shouts out of his, Rulf still listened to them and raised his brows.

’What happened to him again?’ Earlier, after killing the demon general, he saw Ajax painfully shout. So, he wondered what’s happening to him.

’Swoosh’

Without wasting any time, he hurriedly rushed towards Ajax to check whether he was alright or not.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for successfully enduring the pain and synchronised both the cultivation.

’Ding,

Whenever host achieves a breakthrough in one cultivation, his other cultivation also progresses and becomes equal to it.

Before Rulf could reach Ajax, Ajax got a couple of system notifications that made him heaved a sigh of relief.

”Ajax, are you okay?” Rulf hurriedly asked and checked on Ajax.

”Yeah I am fine,” Ajax revealed a light smile in response.

”Huh?” However, Rulf’s focus was entirely on Ajax’s body as he found something unusual.

”What happened, Uncle Rulf?” Ajax nervously asked Rulf while calling him with his name.

”If you don’t mind me asking, isn’t your cultivation was at level 3 elite commander realm?” Rulf didn’t want to pry into Ajax’s secret as he knew everyone had their own; however, he could not help but ask about the decrease in his cultivation.

’That is….’

’Ding,

Both the cultivations namely, spirit and body cultivations are now at level 1 of the elite commander realm.

Before Ajax could say something, he was interrupted by the system notification.

’What? Only at level 1 elite commander? Damn that stabilizing crystal,’ Ajax stopped his explanation and silently cursed the stabilizing crystal.

Before using the stabilizing crystal, his spirit cultivation was at level 10 of the commander realm and his body cultivation was at level 3 of the elite commander realm. So, he thought he would become a level 2 elite commander realm cultivator.

’Nevermind, since I can increase both the cultivations at the same time, it is a good deal,’ In the end, Ajax calmed down and consoled himself with the advantages brought by the stabilizing crystal.

”Ajax, what is that?” All of a sudden, Ajax came out of his thoughts by Rulf’s voice.

”That is not my actual cultivation, it is a small boost from one of the techniques,” Ajax calmly said to Rulf which made him believe without any doubts.

”If you recover your essence of nature soon, let’s go and kill the second batch of the demon army,”

Soon, Rulf wasn’t able to remain calm anymore as he knew that a huge army was coming towards them and if they were unable to stop them, then the human race would suffer some great losses.

So, he asked Ajax to hurry up and recover his essence of nature.

”I am good but I want some time to recover some more essence of nature,” With the breakthrough in spirit cultivation, not only his spirit consciousness capacity had directly increased 9000 units but his essence of nature in it also increased by 2000 units.

Nevertheless, this time, when he fights against the second batch of the demon army, he wants to fight them with his full spirit consciousness.

”Sure, I already asked someone to inform all the mercenaries to gather at the exit of the cursed wilderness. Until they come, we can fill our spirit consciousness,” Rulf understood what Ajax’s intentions were and when he thought from Ajax’s perspective, he wanted to completely fill his spirit consciousness.

With that thought in his mind, Rulf went back to his place and took out a mid-grade spirit stone and started recovering his essence of nature.

’Damn it. How can he casually use a mid-grade spirit stone to fill his spirit consciousness?’ When Ajax saw a mid-grade spirit stone, he cursed Rulf. Because he knew how valuable it was and how had very good use of it.

With the help of a mid-grade spirit stone, he could refine advanced essence pills that could not only be helpful in getting 1000 units of the essence of nature but there was a chance of spirit beasts awakening their ancestral memories.

Even though he still had around 18 pills in his inventory, he didn’t dare to use them because it would be too much of a waste to use it on himself.

’I should ask whether he has any more mid-grade spirit stones on him,’ Ajax controlled his emotions and took out a bunch of low-grade spirit stones from his inventory and started absorbing at an incredible speed.

...…

While Ajax and Rulf were increasing their essence of nature in their spirit consciousness, the mercenary guild was busy with the mercenaries from all over the Zrochester province.

”All mercenaries are requested to go to the exit of the Cursed Wilderness. A demon army is now on their way to attack us. So, go and kill as many demons as possible to protect our loved ones,” Sarah used some kind of talisman that enhanced her voice and informed all the mercenaries in front of her about the demon army.

”What? A demon army?”

”Is it true?”

”What are we waiting for? Let’s go and kill those bastards,”

”They killed my entire family. I need to avenge them by killing as many demons as possible,”

After hearing Sarah’s words, each and every mercenary clenched their hands and swore to kill as many demons as possible.

”Although you have your own reasons to kill those demon servants, our mercenary guild will be rewarding you for your contribution in this fight against the demons,” Sarah, the beautiful receptionist continued to shout without any break, ”Everyone wear these bracelets that will keep the count of your kills against this fight.”

Saying that Sarah threw hundreds of bracelets at them and each one of them caught one bracelet and hurriedly ran towards the exit of the cursed wilderness.
