New Age Of Summoners

With each second, the progress bar for the second target in the bonus mission increased rapidly that made him feel satisfied.

’Nevertheless, I need to stop the first batch of the demon army,’ Ajax never forgot about the other mission he had received from the system.

Within no time, all the mutated demon servants and normal demon servants around Ajax were completely killed by him and his summons.

’I think, I didn’t have any use to summon everyone,’ Ajax looked at the elemental spirits that were silently watching the fight.

Earlier, when he was giving orders to his summons, he asked his elemental spirit not to attack anyone and keep an eye on him for any surprised sneak attacks.

But from beginning to end, there was not even one chance for them to shine and bitterly looked at Ajax.

”Stop looking like that. This time, there are only 40 demon servants but don’t worry, there is a huge army waiting for us,” Ajax consoled them by informing them about the first batch of the demon army.

When they heard that, Volcanis and other elemental spirits bitter expressions changed into a happy one and they were eagerly waiting to rush there immediately.

’Puchii’

Nodding his head, Ajax pierced his spear, which turned back to blood-red colour into a mutated demon servant and completely cleared the demon servants around him.

’Ding,

     Killed a mutated demon servant.

     No essence of nature gained.

The second target is progressed by a count of 5.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for successfully completing the second target of the bonus mission.

’Ding,

Increasing the host’s spirit cultivation by 2 minor realms.

As soon as he took out his bloodlust spear from the body of the mutated demon servant, he received a series of system notifications.

’Aarghh’

However, before he could feel happy about the completion of the second target and the rewards he gained from it, a sudden pain which was familiar, came from his spirit consciousness.

Ajax just touched the area below his chest and endured the pain from the forcefully increasing his spirit consciousness and waited until the pain subsided.

However, the pain lasted for much longer than he had expected because compared to last time, he was breaking through two minor realms in his spirit cultivation.

Nevertheless, he endured it for a few more minutes.

”Noo...”

As Ajax was busy enduring the pain he was getting from levelling up in his spirit cultivation, he heard the demon general’s final shout before he dropped dead without much suspense.

’Ding,

     Killed a demon general.

     No essence of nature gained.

Along with that system notification, the pain from the spirit consciousness came to an end and he laid on the ground while breathing heavily.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for reaching level 8 of the spirit commander realm.

’What a relief!’

After suffering great pain and increasing the cultivation, there was a feeling for Ajax and he liked that feeling which he could not describe in words.

While he was enjoying the feeling after the breakthrough all his elemental spirits and contracted spirit beasts surrounded him and looked at him in confusion.

Because they didn’t understand why their master collapsed onto the ground all of a sudden and why he was happy in another second.

”Huh?” Ajax looked at their confusion and shook his head.

”Everyone let’s go and stop the demon army from leaving the cursed wilderness,”

Even though he liked the feeling after the breakthrough, he knew he didn’t have much time to waste and had to delay the demon army.

”Yayy”

”Roarr”

All elemental spirits and spirit beasts were excited and shouted out loud.

’Return,’

Before they could complete their excited shouts, Ajax simply summoned them back into his inner world leaving the only Twilight behind.

”Twilight, let’s go,”

Ajax quickly mounted it before pointing his finger in the direction of the demon army.

’Roar’

Twilight gave a ferocious roar and excitedly flew towards that direction.

’Everyone calm down. Once we reach the demon army, I will summon you again,’ While twilight was speedily flying, Ajax checked into his inner world and calmed them.

When they heard his words, they calmed down and waited for Ajax to summon them.

Every summons under Ajax’s control loves fighting except for Spirus. So, when they stayed in the inner world for a longer time, they got bored with increasing their strength which they never used outside the inner world. So, they were really excited and waited for the fight with the demon army.

”I should do this often and let my summons run wild. It feels so good,” Ajax thought back to the expression on the demon general’s face when he had summoned his summons and felt good.

He wanted to do that quite often from now on.

’But, I am still not strong enough to protect myself from those sects and families,’ However, he quickly rejected his thought.

Even though he had quite an army but they were not powerful enough to go against any of the top sects or families. And if he summons his army, he had to kill his opponent at any cost because if he escapes and spread information about him being able to summon different elemental spirits then he would become the target for everyone for his secrets.

’So, you continue to enjoy that feeling, I have to become strong as soon as possible,’ Ajax clenched his hands into a fist and looked forward to his future missions.

...…..

As Ajax was flying on Twilight towards the demon army, back at the place where the portal was connected to the demon world, Edmond and others were intensely fighting with the demons.

”Okay then, you have improved a lot but your bad luck I improved more than you,” Edmond looked at the elite demon general with a single horn and stored his huge sword back into his space ring.

They have been fighting with each other for a while now and Edmond already got bored with the fight. So, he thought of a plan to finish the fight as soon as possible.

”Huh? Just stop bluffing, we both have similar strength,” the elite demon general angrily looked at Edmond and shouted as he rushed towards him.

’Now is the right time to finish him off,’ While rushing he thought in his head as he saw there was no sword in Edmond’s hands.

”I already wasted enough time talking with you. Now I will kill you,” Edmond calmly looked at the incoming elite demon general and muttered in a low voice before taking out his family’s treasured sword and rushed at him.

’What?’

The elite demon general didn’t expect Edmond to take out another sword, which gave a bad premonition in his head and wanted to stop.

’Puchii’

’Aargh’

However, before he could stop, the crystal sword already penetrated into his chest.

”This is for the innocent residents of that small town, you have killed,” Edmond whispered into the demon general’s ears before slowly taking the sword out of his body.

As soon as he took out the sword from his body, the demon general’s body turned into ashes and faded into the air.

’Phew...finally I was able to take one revenge and still one more to go,’ Edmond heaved a sigh of relief and thought in his head.
