New Age Of Summoners

As Edmond had expected from the increased size of the black portal, the mutated demon servants and the demon generals in the second batch of the demon army was higher.

Even Ajax, with his simple gaze, noticed more than 6 demon generals and more than a dozen demon servants.

However, no one was coming out of the demon army and waited for a chance to sneak upon them.

Moreover, they didn’t stress themselves like when they fought with the first batch of the demon army.

’Since they are hiding in the demon army, let them hide,’ Ajax and the other young cultivators didn’t bother with the hiding demon generals and mutated demon servants as they knew it was dangerous for them to enter the demon army recklessly.

They only fought with the ones that dared to come out of the demon army or selected some corner of the demon army to kill the demon servants.

”Brother Killer, Captain Edmond is busy fighting. Can you please say the effects of the Nine-men awakening?” Ajax asked the vice-leader of the young cultivators about Nine-men awakening.

There was a reason why he asked King Killer as Ajax thought that he would definitely get an answer from him.

When King Killer was taken hostage by a mutated demon servant, Ajax saved him by using Absolute darkness; Even though he was closing his eyes at that time, he heard the conversation between Edmond and Ajax after he killed that mutated demon servant.

So, he knew Ajax had saved him and according to his nature, he would not like to owe anyone other than Captain Edmond.

”There are three effects from this nine-men awakening,” The king killer didn’t think much before saying about it.

”First, We nine members are linked with each other through our spirit consciousness,”

Ajax didn’t interrupt him and waited for him to continue his explanation.

”Second, Incremental damage. With each move from one of us on an opponent, the damage will be increased with the next move,” The King Killer looked at Ajax’s confused expression on his face and shook his head before giving an example,

”For example, let’s take our earlier fight. First, Kind mantis kicked the demon general with his original strength, next the twin’s attack will be 50 percent more than their original attack and when we are at our third move, the demon general died. However, if he was alive we would have used our nine-men combo to kill him,” King Killer, who was not good at explaining, tried his best to explain Ajax about the second effect of the nine-men awakening.

’Oh’

Ajax, now truly feared the nine-men awakening after knowing the second effect.

”So, the final attack in the nine-men awakening’s second effect will have the strength that is nine times the original strength of the attacker?”

Ajax asked the King killer while simplifying his explanation.

”Phew...correct,” The King killer heaved a sigh of relief when he felt Ajax had understood about the second effect.

’Pfft...Hahaha’

While they were conversing, the remaining young cultivators looked at King killer and tried to withhold their laughing; however, they were unable to hold it for much longer and started laughing.

”Hmph”

When he saw that, the King Killer harrumphed and arrogantly looked at Ajax.

”Then, what about the third effect?” Ajax didn’t mind the arrogant look on the King Killer’s face as he knew that it was his common trait to maintain that arrogant look all the time.

”The third effect is the most powerful one among all the three because it will bring all our cultivation levels to the one who has the highest cultivation permanently. And whenever anyone breakthroughs in their cultivation, the rest of us will also make a breakthrough to the same level of that member,” The King Killer looked at the shocked expression on Ajax’s face and felt satisfied.

However, the shocked expression on Ajax’s face turned into a puzzled expression.

Huh? What happened? Did you not understand anything in this?” The King killer asked Ajax when he looked at the confused expression on Ajax’s face.

”Yes, I have a doubt. If what you said is true then…,”

”Your doubt must be why we still have different cultivations and not the same level of cultivation as me, right?,” Before Ajax could ask his doubt, the Silver Goliath came forward and interrupted him and said with a laugh.

”Yes,”

Ajax nodded his head while rubbing the back of his head.

”Actually, we are yet to achieve the third effect of the nine-awakening,” the Silver Goliath clarified Ajax’s doubt while briefly explaining, ”To achieve it, we need to train using the first two effects of the nine-awakening. So, it will take time before we can enjoy the third effect.”

Although it seemed that Silver Goliath, who had the highest cultivation among the nine young cultivators was not benefiting much with the third effect, it was wrong.

After everyone’s cultivation boosted to his cultivation, he could easily increase his cultivation from their breakthroughs.

The reason Silver Goliath was having high-cultivation was because of his age. Among all the nine young cultivators, he was the oldest one and when compared to others he was not a genius when it comes to breakthroughs.

”Oh, it is very nice then. Let’s train with this demon army and become stronger,” Ajax felt that he still had a lot to learn in this world after knowing about the three effects of the Nine-men awakening; Nevertheless, he wanted these young cultivators to achieve that final effect as soon as possible.

So, he suggested training with the demon army as it was the best training spot for them as it required not only brute strength but they also needed to keep an eye on their surroundings from the lurking demon generals and mutated demon servants.

Overall, this demon army would help both their body cultivation and adaptability to any kind of situation.

Let’s go,”

The nine young cultivators selected a small portion of the demon army for their training whereas Ajax, his shadow clone, and justice formed a team and moved towards the demon general he had selected and baited himself for that demon general.

’Until he comes out of the demon army, I will pretend to be exhausted while barely killing the demon servants,’ Ajax briefly explained his plan about bringing that demon general out of the demon army to Justice and ordered his shadow clone to cover for him in times of need.

’Let’s see, how many targets will be increased in the bonus mission when I kill you,’ Ajax revealed a cunning smile on his face for only a second before replacing it with an exhausted look.

’Swoosh’

’Clang’

’Puchii’

Ajax and his small team started their plan and started killing the demon servants that only attacked them if they were in their way.

Even after killing more than 10 demon servants with their tired faces, the demon general still didn’t come out of the demon army which made Ajax confused.

Nevertheless, he continued to kill the demon servants with the same tired faces.

If anyone saw them now, they would definitely think that they would die within a few moments with exhaustion. That’s how great their acting was.

’Swoosh’

All of a sudden, Ajax saw a silhouette running towards him with full force that made him smile and think, ’Finally, you are coming out.’
