New Age Of Summoners

”What?”

Edmond was shocked to hear the demon servant’s request in order to release the King killer.

He was not the only one to be shocked, Udo and Darbaudr were also shocked to hear that.

There was nothing wrong in Edmond and others to be shocked by the demon servant’s insane request.

A cultivator, whether he belongs to the human race or any other races, when he enters the general realm cultivation realm or any corresponding general realms of other cultivation methods like spirit cultivation, Devil cultivation etc., he could convert his blood into blood essence that could be used in case of emergency situations or some near-death situations.

The blood essence of a cultivator helps him to heal rapidly depending upon the concentration of the blood essence.

However, it could not be used by any other cultivators other than the owner of the blood essence. In fact, it could be considered as a suicide to use another cultivator’s blood essence.

So, when they heard the insane request of the demon servant, Edmond and others were shocked.

’Why is he requesting my blood essence? Don’t tell me he is using it to increase his strength,’ Edmond suppressed his shock and thought in his head while seriously looking at the demon servant.

Even though it was suicide to absorb another cultivator’s blood essence, the demons were always a varying race that could do those suicide attempts and successfully convert them to their own use which made Edmond hesitate to give his blood essence.

”Why do you want our blood essence? What will you do with it?” Edmond didn’t agree to the demon servant’s request instantly as he doesn’t want to give their blood essence without knowing what that demon servant would do with the blood essence.

”Huh? Why do you care? Also, I am not requesting you. Goddammit, I am ordering you,” The demon servant raised his brows on his hideous face and scoffed at Edmond.

Amidst his sentence, the demon servant’s eyes turned red for a second that made him curse before he became normal.

’Damn it, I am unable to suppress the side effects of the rage potion for much longer. I need to hurry up,’ The demon servant hurriedly wanted to go from this place after getting what he wanted from Edmond and others.

When his eyes flashed a red-light, the dagger that was placed on the King killer’s neck shook a little and cut into the skin of the King killer’s neck and a small bloodline appeared.

So, the demon servant feared that he would become a mindless puppet for the higher demons once the rage potion effect kicks into him.

”Hurry up, otherwise, I will kill him,” The demon servant used that small cut on the King killer’s neck to his advantage and tried to hurry Edmondto give his and others’ blood essence to him.

”Wait...what you are asking me is very important for me and others. So, please change it to some other request,” When he saw that the demon servant made a small cut on the King Killer’s neck, he became anxious; however, he suppressed his anxiousness and tried to remain calm as he wanted the demon servant to change his request.

Although it looked simple to convert one’s blood into the blood essence, it was very hard and a very tiring process. To refine their blood essence they need to refine their blood for months before they could even form one drop of blood essence.

The process doesn’t stop after forming that one drop of blood essence. That drop of blood essence would only have less than 10 percent of purity in it.

So, the general realm cultivators have to refine that drop of blood for a few weeks or even months. For some people, it would take years for that drop of blood essence to reach 100 percent purity.

’After refining for many years I only managed to refine three drops of essence of nature and I already used two of them. Now, I only have one drop of 100 percent purified blood essence. If I give it to him, then I will not have any instant healing during the mission,’ Edmond worried that his plan, which he was planning for years now, would be spoiled if he didn’t have that drop of blood essence.

Moreover, he needs a year with his present elite general realm cultivation to refine another drop of purified blood essence.

’Sigh...if he doesn’t agree to another request, I will just give away that drop and postpone my plan for another year or two,’ Finally, after much thinking, Edmond concluded to give up his blood essence to the demon servant and exchange it with the King killer.

”Huh? You want me to change my request?” Once again the demon servant’s face became very angry for a moment before turning to normal and continued, ”Sure.”

To Edmond’s surprise, the demon servant agreed to Edmond’s request to change his demand to release the King killer.

”In that case, I want your dead body,” While Edmond was feeling relieved, the demon servant tossed a bomb on Edmond’s relief and made his face angry.

”What the…. You want my dead body? Go f*ck yourself. I don’t care whether you leave him or not,” Edmond turned his back to the demon servant and asked him to do what he wanted to do to the King killer.

As soon as he turned his back to the demon servant, Edmond’s eyes were filled with tears as he thought that this was the only way for him to save King killer.

’Sigh’

Udo sighed as he knew that Edmond was only trying to act nonchalantly with the King killer life as it would make the demon servant think that he didn’t care much about King killer’s life.

”Haha….You don’t need to act with your nonchalant expression. I know you care about him, So, simply give me one drop of blood essence from you three people,”

The demon servant loudly laughed and shook his head before pointing his finger at Udo and Darbaudr, he asked to give their drops of blood essence quickly along with Edmond’s blood essence.

”Sigh”

Edmond cleared his eyes and turned to face the demon servant and sighed as he knew that his actions won’t be of any help to him.

”Darbaudr, will you give a drop of blood essence to save my adopted son,” Edmond looked at the Barbarian and asked him whether he was willing to give his blood essence or not.

Edmond didn’t ask Udo as he knew that he would not hesitate to give one drop of blood essence

Because when they were in a critical situation, Edmond used his own drop of blood essence to save Udo and at that time, Udo promised that ’If there comes a time for my blood essence to use for you, I won’t hesitate for a second before using it.’

So, Edmond didn’t ask Udo and only asked the Barbarian for his willingness.

’What do you say, Young master?’

However, Darbaudr didn’t reply to Edmond and looked at Ajax for his permission.

Edmond also noticed it and heaved a sigh of relief as he knew that Ajax would order the barbarian to give the blood essence.
