New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1344 King Stephenʼs worries

Elder Boron assumed that Ajax still needed a lot of time before becoming the Emperor of the Purple stone world. So, he had planned many things to do in the meanwhile that would help Ajax in increasing his cultivation and battle prowess.

However, who would have expected that he was already capable of defeating an Emperor realm cultivator and on the verge of becoming the Emperor of the Purple stone world without much support from him anymore.

So, he decided to cancel all his side plans and help Ajax directly from now on.

ʼAs long as he becomes the Emperor of the Purple stone world, my promise to his parents will be fulfilled and then I can decide what to do with my life.ʼ

The only thing that made Elder Boron move forward until now was the promise he had made with his daughter and son-in-law and he didnʼt plan much after the promise was fulfilled.

ʼAnyway, I will think about it later. For now, we have to plan on stopping the demon invasion.ʼ

Elder Boron stopped thinking about the things in the far future; instead, he wanted to focus on the things in the near future.

”So, shall we discuss the plan now?”

Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face as he asked Elder Boron.

”Yeah”

Elder Boron nodded his head and soon, they started discussing the plan for the demon invasion.

...…

In special quarters given to King Stephen in the Ylercester province.

ʼAre you going to tell me now or are you still shivering in fear?ʼ

King Stephen was having mixed emotions as he asked his master in his head.

Earlier, his masterʼs voice was shaking with fear with the sudden appearance of Elder Boron; however, his master asked him to stay silent until they returned to their quarters.

King Stephenʼs head was filled with a lot of questions in his head; however, he knew what his master was worried about. So, he remained calm and composed until now.

However, as soon as they returned, King Stephen was unable to keep that attitude any longer as he asked his master to explain everything.

ʼWhat do you want to know? I told you everything already.ʼ

His master replied without wasting any time; however, King Stephen could sense that the voice still has a hint of fear in it.

ʼThatʼs right! You said everything about what happened back then.ʼ

King Stephen wqas shaking in anger as he asked, ʼSo, how did the guardian ʼProtector of the skiesʼ come back in one piece?ʼ

ʼIsnʼt he supposed to be like you? Recovering his damaged soul first and then recovering the body?ʼ

According to the things King Stephen learned from his master, the guardian ʼProtector of the skiesʼ should have been in a worse condition than his master.

However, after seeing the guardian in person, King Stephen wanted his master to explain it.

ʼI donʼt know how he was able to recover his soul and body in such a short span.ʼ

The voice in King Stephenʼs head replied in a calm tone..at least, he tried to look calm in front of his disciple; however, King Stephen could sense the fear and shock in his masterʼs voice.

ʼ...ʼ

King Stephen didnʼt know what to ask even when his master didnʼt know much about it. So, he waited…waited for his master to think of something.

ʼWait a second.ʼ

As King Stephen was also thinking about the secret behind Elder Boronʼs fast recovery along with his master, his master seemed like he thought of something.

ʼWhat is it, master?ʼ

King Stephen hurriedly asked about it.

ʼThere is an artifact that the previous emperor used to carry around. No one knows much about that artifact but it is not an ordinary one.ʼ

The voice in King Stephenʼs head continued to explain, ʼI briefly noticed that the emperor gave the artifact to his newborn child and the Protector of the skies was asked to protect that child.ʼ

ʼWhat? An artifact?ʼ

King Stephen was surprised as he asked, ʼSo, there is already an artifact with the previous emperor before finding another one in the ancient inheritance grounds.ʼ

ʼYes. Even though the artifact in the newborn childʼs neck was not as powerful as the artifact we found in the inheritance grounds, it is an artifact that got the jealousy of the powerful cultivators from the other world.ʼ

ʼLord of waterʼ explained some things he missed previously to King Stephen in detail as he continued, ʼI and another guardian personally fought him and destroyed his body and soul; however, he was able to escape in time with that newborn child. Later, the same thing happened to us, the remaining four guardians by the emperor of the world.ʼ

His voice contained anger and jealousy; however, he still didnʼt regret that thing he did with the other guardians on that day.

ʼIf only we were successful on that day, we would have ascended to the greater human worlds and joined powerful organizations.ʼ

The only thing he regretted was not expecting the emperorʼs wife was also an emperor realm cultivator who was more powerful than Vaugh spiriteye.

ʼTell me more about that artifact and the son of the emperor.ʼ

As for King Stephen, he became a little curious about the artifact and the emperorʼs son. So, he asked his master to tell more details about it.

ʼAccording to the rumour, that artifact was modified by Emperor Vaugh himself and ….ʼ

Just like how Ajax learned everything from Elder Boron, King Stephen learned about the events from the past from his master.

However, he was not as lucky as Ajax who got the information in a detailed manner because of Elder Boronʼs relationship with Emperor Vaugh.

ʼWhat? Emperor Vaugh was that talented?ʼ

After learning about Emperor Vaughʼs achievements, King Stephen was shocked and soon started worrying about something.

ʼIf that guardian has recovered his soul and body, then what about Emperor Vaughʼs son? Will he have the same talents as Emperor Vaugh? Where is he? What is his cultivation?ʼ

New questions started forming in his head as he asked his master.
