New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1311 - Not Worthy Enough To Become Friends?

Since Cain ordered Star assassin to kill at least one member within five minutes, it didnʼt waste any more time when it saw that a few young participants were moving towards his master.

And the first target it chose was none other than Neil, who was the weakest one among the current young participants.

Even though Shadow siblings were unconscious, they were protected by Dark flame and Snowstorm. So, it chose Neil as its first target.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼDieʼ

It appeared behind Neil in a flash with an elemental dagger in its hands.

”Got you.”

ʼPuchiʼ

However, just when the elemental dagger was about to slash Neilʼs neck, a huge beast hand caught the elemental spirit and crushed it to death.

”That was close, Brother fearless.”

Neilʼs forehead was covered with sweat as he said to Fearless gorilla.

”Since Brother Goliath has devised this plan, nothing could go wrong.”

Fearless gorilla replied with a slight smile on his face.

Before moving towards the place where Cain was hiding, Silver goliath devised a plan and informed about it and without a doubt, the plan worked without any suspense as they successfully killed the elemental spirit.

”...”

Neil was speechless at the reply.

Even though Neil was also confident in Silver goliathʼs plan, if Fearless gorilla was late by a couple of seconds or that elemental spirit was faster by a few seconds, then it would have been the end for him.

Nevertheless, Neil didnʼt think much about it as he looked at the elemental spirit that was completely crushed by Fearless gorilla.

”Since we killed all of his elemental spirits, it would be a piece of cake for us to kill him now.”

Snowstorm and Dark flame said at the same time that they could not wait to kill Cain because they nearly lost their lives at the hands of Cain and his elemental spirits if not for the timely arrival of their friends.

”Yes. Letʼs go and make him come out at any cost.”

They knew how strong Cain was and they didnʼt want such an enemy to escape now. If possible, they have to at least make him pay for what he had done to them.

”Yes. Even though killing him in this secret realm might be a lot harder, we should at least try killing him. Even if it was not possible, we should eliminate him from this round.”

Because of the space ring given by the old minister, it was impossible for them to kill Cain because he could leave the secret realm with a thought; however, they would be satisfied even with that because leaving the secret realm using the space ring means ʼElimination from the contestʼ.

”Letʼs go.”

Since they killed the last elemental spirit, they moved towards the place where Cain was hiding.

”Did you kill that elemental spirit already?”

Seeing his friends were walking towards them, Silver goliath asked them with a surprised look on his face.

Even though he was the one who devised the plan for them to kill the elemental spirit, Silver goliath felt it was quicker than he thought.

The thing is, Silver goliath didnʼt know the time limit of five minutes for Star assassin to come out of its hiding to kill at least one of them. If not for the time limit, it would have not bothered to come that fast and would have been not killed.

”Yeah. However, there is something fishy about these elemental spirits.”

Paulin, who was standing beside Silver goliath raised his brows as he informed others about his thoughts.

”What is it?”

Among the young participants who were present now, only Paulin was an official summoner and the others were not. So, their knowledge about elemental spirits was not as much as Paulin had in his head.

So, when Paulin mentioned that something was wrong with the elemental spirits, they asked with a curious look on their face.

”Even though we killed a total of seven elemental spirits, not a single one of them dropped the elemental spirit stone.”

Paulin said what made him quote his earlier statement.

”Isnʼt it for the elemental spirits to drop their elemental spirit stones after getting killed?”

Silver goliath asked with a confused look on his face.

Even though Silver goliath and others didnʼt have much knowledge about the elemental spirits, they have minimum basics regarding the summoners and the elemental spirits.

Without that knowledge, how could they win against the summoners in the coming rounds? So, Vagrant cultivators shared their basic knowledge regarding the elemental spirits and summoners.

”Yes, it is rare; however, not to the point where not a single elemental spirit stone was dropped even after killing seven elemental spirits. There is a 50 percent chance for the elemental spirit to drop an elemental spirit stone after getting killed.”

Paulin nodded his head while clarifying others about the rarity of the elemental spirit stones dropped by the elemental spirits.

”In short, after every two elemental spirits, we get an elemental spirit stone.”

Dark flame asked with a surprised look on his face.

ʼSwooshʼ

”Not really. Sometimes, we might get an elemental spirit stone after killing just one elemental spirit; however, there will be times where you will get an elemental spirit after three or four kills also.”

All of a sudden, a blue silhouette appeared beside Paulin, who replied to Dark flame.

He was none other than Paulinʼs elemental spirit Glacious as he continued explaining, ”However, not getting a single elemental spirit stone even after killing seven elemental spirits is definitely fishy.”

”The bodies of the elemental spirit have already disappeared, we canʼt even cut open to check for the elemental spirit stones now.”

Fearless gorilla had already transformed back into the human as he replied to everyone.

”So, there is no need to worry about the elemental spirit stones; instead, we have to take care of the summoning master and join with others.”

”Yeah. Even though we have good numbers now, we still have to join with others because by now, the others must have formed their own teams and are looking for other teams to eliminate.”

Silver goliath nodded his head as he asked everyone to stop thinking about the elemental spirit stones.

”Yeah”

Everyone nodded their heads as they agreed with Silver Goliathʼs words.

Even though there were currently nine members in their group, three of them were not in a position to protect themselves, not to mention protecting themselves.

Whatʼs more, they have to allocate two members to protect those three members in case of any surprise attacks.

Moreover, If they encounter any strong teams with more members, with only five men, it would be harder for them to win. So, they need to join with others as soon as possible.

”Haha”

All of a sudden, a loud laugh from the shadow as a silhouette came out of it and sat on the branch of the tree.

”He is out.”

”Everyone, get ready to use your attacks and donʼt let him escape at any cost.”

”The only way you can survive is by giving up on the contest.”

”Yeah. Use the space ring to escape from the secret realm just like a coward.”

Without wasting any time, they surrounded the tree and at the same time, they tried provoking him.

”Haha…is it some kind of provocation?”

However, Cain still maintained his laughter as he replied to them, ”If it is to provoke me then you have to do more than that.”

Even after what happened with his elemental spirits, Cain was still calm and laughing, making everyone around him frown.

ʼDid he really not care about his elemental spirits?ʼ

ʼHow can he still laugh like that?ʼ

ʼEveryone, be careful, he must have some kind of trump card since he was very confident.ʼ

The personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators muttered to themselves as Silver goliath warned everyone to be careful.

Because he felt Cain was completely different from the opponents he had faced until now.

He was calm and composed even after losing all his official and unofficial elemental spirits.

”Also, I am not planning to escape from you or this secret realm and I hope you will do the same.”

Cain stopped laughing for a moment as he scoffed at the young participants that surrounded him.

”Huh?”

Everyone raised their brows after seeing how confident Cain was even after getting surrounded by them.

”Are you stalling time for your friends or what?”

Everyone wanted to attack him direclty without wasting any time; however, they were all stopped by Silver goliath, who asked Cain in a serious tone.

”Friends? I donʼt have any and there is no one worthy enough to become my friend in this world.”

Cain replied with a proud look as he looked at the group of young participants around him before landing his eyes on Paulin and the elemental spirit beside him.

”So, there is a summoner among you.”

Cain was a little surprised as he continued to say while looking at Paulin, ”You might be worthy enough to become my friend with enough time; however, too bad for you, I am going to kill you and your friends here.”

”Stop speaking nonsense and just die.”

Fearless gorilla became angry with Cainʼs words as he transformed into a huge gorilla once again before rushing towards Cain.

”Swoosh”

However, Cain dodged the incoming attack with a casual jump and landed on the ground.

”Since you are so eager to die, I will give you.”

Cain replied with a slight smile on his face as he shouted, ”Everyone, come back to life now.”
