Chapter 1318 Recruitment from other worlds

ʼHuh?ʼ

However, the powerful cultivators raised their brows after hearing the assassin sectʼs recruitment offer because they felt something was off about it.

Actually, recruiting a lot of youngsters was not a problem; however, most of the sects or families didnʼt want to recruit a lot of junk as it would be troublesome to train them and the cultivation resources needed for everyone would be a lot.

Nevertheless, when they thought about what kind of organization the assassin sect was, they were no longer bothered.

ʼThe assassin sect was just collecting more servants and slaves.ʼ

Looking at the excited youngsters, the powerful cultivators could not help but take pity on them.

...

In one of the halls of the resting quarters that were allocated for the Zrochester province.

”Everyone, you did great today.”

Elek and Seward were proud of the youngsters in front of them as they praised them.

”Our masters helped us become what we are today.”

”Itʼs all thanks to you and other vagrant cultivators.”

The personal disciples of the vagrant cultivators thanked Seward, Elek and the rest of the vagrant cultivators for their teachings and training.

”Of course, Ajax also helped us in the secret realm; otherwise, we would have been killed by that b*stard.”

Dark flame and others who were stuck inside the barrier made up of ʼPillars of darknessʼ didnʼt forget to mention Ajax.

If not for Ajaxʼs spirit beast, they would have been really killed by Cain. So, it was only right to thank him in front of everyone.

”Yes.”

Everyone, including the two vagrant cultivators, nodded their heads, agreeing to Dark flameʼs words.

”Haha…itʼs nothing.”

Ajax rubbed the back of his head as he modestly replied to them.

”How can it be nothing? You have a King realm spirit beast and you can easily defeat us, the vagrant cultivators with your contracted spirit beast.”

Seward shook his head with a bitter look on his face.

”Yes. Even though we are strongest in the Zrochester province, we are yet to reach the King realm.”

Elek backed Sewardʼs words while looking at Ajax with an envious look on his face.

”Stop joking, Elder Seward and Elder Elek. Even if you are yet to reach the King realm, you can easily defeat my king realm spirit beast.”

Ajax shook his head as he said some words from the bottom of his words.

Ajax was very sure that there was a particular reason for why the vagrant cultivators were not choosing to break through into the king realm.

At the same time, he was very sure that they could easily kill low-level king realm beings without much difficulty and could fight head to head against mid-level king realm cultivators.

ʼ...ʼ

Hearing those words, both Elder Seward and Elder Elek remained speechless for some time.

”By the way, where did you tame it, Ajax?”

Seward asked Ajax with a curious look because he was sure that there were no devourer eagle kings in the Zrochester province.

Moreover, according to what he knows about the devourer eagle kings, they always stay in groups led by a devourer eagle king.

”It was a gift from my master for completing one of the missions.”

Ajax gave a spontaneous reply which made everyone around him even more envious.

No one doubted that Ajax was lying as they completely believed Ajax had a powerful master who was capable of gifting away king realm spirit beasts.

”Ajax, if your master has any missions in the future with such lucrative rewards, please let me join you in the mission.”

”I will join too if it is okay with you.”

All the youngsters wanted to go on the missions with Ajax to get some good rewards.

”Yeah. I want a King realm spirit beast.”

Whatʼs more, even Elek was interested in the King realm spirit beasts; however, with a punch from Seward, Elek changed his sentence, ”Kids, just focus on the contest and you will gain good rewards that will help you increase your cultivation.”

”Thatʼs right! Once you become the King realm cultivator, you will even get offers from other human worlds who recruit you into their organization.”

Seward nodded his head as he explained something that made all the youngsters surprised, including Ajax.

”What? Recruitment from other worlds?”

Ajax raised his brows as Levi and others asked more about it.

”The thing is, when you become a King realm cultivator with a rare or powerful cultivatorʼs soul, the human organizations from other worlds will recruit you. After that, you will be given cultivation resources depending on the contribution you made for the organization.”

Seward explained about the recruitment from the other worlds with fine details, making the young cultivators more excited in becoming the King realm cultivators.

”But, how will those human organizations know about our cultivatorʼs souls, master?”

King Mantis, the personal disciple of Seward, asked his master about it.

”I am coming to that part now.”

Seward nodded his head as he was about to say something; however, he was interrupted by Elek.

”Seward, why are you telling them everything? Didnʼt Brother Rae warn us from saying these things? It is too soon for them to learn these things.”

”Master, you canʼt do this to us.”

Lewis was annoyed with his master as he seriously shouted at Elek.

”Why canʼt I do that? You already donʼt show respect to me, your master and once you learn everything, you will not even bother to pay attention to this old man.”

Elek revealed a cunning smile on his face as he replied to Lewis.

ʼSlapʼ

However, in the next second, a huge hand slapped Elekʼs head as Seward said, ”If you continue to put that cunning attitude, you will lose even that last bit of respect from the young cultivators.”

”Pfft”

All the young cultivators except for Ajax, tried their best to control their laughter because it was not their first time seeing Elder Elek act like that; however, they knew that Elek and Seward were not serious with their words.

ʼ...ʼ

As for Ajax, he was speechless as he didnʼt expect the powerful vagrant cultivators of the Zrochester province to have such a side to them.

ʼLooks like I still didnʼt know much about vagrant cultivators.ʼ

With that thought in his head, Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face.

”Elder Seward, please continue what you are saying and donʼt mind my master.”

Soon, Lewis urged Seward as he wanted to know more about other worlds and how the organizations from those worlds would recruit them.

”Yes, Elder Seward. Are there any teleportation circles in this world that allows us to enter the other worlds?”

Even though most of the young cultivators that reached the elite general realm knew that there were other worlds, they thought it was impossible to travel even if they reached the King realm because their bodies could not withstand the energies in outer space that tear apart the bodies of even king realm cultivators.

So, they were also curious about how they were going to travel to other worlds.

”Thatʼs right! There are teleportation circles in this world; however, not a single one of them are in the control of the cultivators from the Purple stone world.”

Seward nodded his head as he continued, ”Let me answer your first question about how they find out about the cultivators with unique and powerful cultivatorsʼ souls.”

While Seward was answering their questions, Elder Elek was looking at his personal disciple Lewis with a serious look as though he was going to eat him alive soon.

As for Lewis, even though he saw his master glaring at them, he acted like not knowing anything as he listened to Elder Seward.

”Almost all the organizations in the other worlds have at least one king realm formation master who was capable of creating a formation linking to a specific world. As long as any beings from that world become a King realm it will try to decipher the cultivatorʼs soul.”

”If it was unique or rare or powerful or fits perfectly with their organization, they would send someone to recruit him or her using the same formation which could be considered as Teleportation circle.”

Seward paused for a moment to see whether the young cultivators were digesting everything he was saying.

”Even though the Purple stone world is a normal world belonging to humans, it is a weak normal world and only a few organizations are interested in it. Also, in the last decade, only one person was selected…to be specific, only one spirit beast in the entire Purple stone world was recruited by some organization.”

At the end of his lines, Elder Seward looked at Keshe as he asked, ”Isnʼt that right, Princess Keshe?”

”H..how did you know that, Elder Seward?”

Keshe was surprised by Elder Sewardʼs words.

She was not surprised about the recruit, she was surprised at the fact that Elder Seward knew that a spirit beast was recruited and whatʼs more, judging from his question, she also knew that he knew who was recruited by the otherworldly organization.

”What?”

”Is that true, Big sister Keshe?”

”Who is recruited, Princess Keshe?”

Everyone was surprised for a moment as they curiously looked at Keshe before asking her a lot of questions.

”Even though we are yet to become King realm cultivators, we are good at gathering intel from all over the Purple stone world.”

Elder Elek was proud as he replied to Keshe when she asked them how they knew about it.

”Thatʼs right! My big brother is recruited 10 years back.”
