New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1342 Truth behind the items from System

”I believe your words.”

According to the knowledge he received from the system about itself, Ajax knew there was so much he needed to learn about the system on his own. So, he agreed with Elder Boronʼs words regarding his knowledge about the system.

”Of course, you have to.”

Elder Boron nodded his head as he asked a question, ”However, do you know where the system gets all the items it gives to you?”

”No.”

Ajax shook his head without thinking much because he had already thought about it thousands of times regarding the items he received from the system; however, he was unable to find anything about it.

”Have you ever wondered about it?”

Elder Boron asked another question; however, before Ajax could nod his head, Elder Boron continued saying, ”Some of the items you received from the system are left behind by your father and mother for you.”

”By my father?”

Ajax was surprised only for a moment; however, he had already thought of that possibility. So, he replied, ”I knew it. Only parents can leave behind such good items for me.”

Previously, Ajax was a little angry at his parents for abandoning him in front of the orphanage; however, after learning the situation of his parents, he was no longer angry towards them and wanted to become powerful to stop the powerful cultivators from hurting his parents.

Now, after learning about the items left behind by his parents for him, he felt warm and wanted to see them as soon as possible.

”Ahem”

However, Elder Boron made a sound to catch Ajaxʼs attention and he was successful at it.

”Elder Boron, do you have anything else to say?”

Ajax asked Elder Boron because he felt Elder Boron still had something to say.

”Donʼt you have anything else to ask? Think carefully.”

Elder Boron wanted to hit Ajax a few times; however, he controlled his anger as he asked Ajax to remember whether he was forgetting about something.

”Huh?”

Ajax thought about it for a few moments before saying, ”Thatʼs right! I still have something to ask.”

”Good. Ask what you want to know.”

Elder Boronʼs mood became happy and before Ajax could ask him a question, he started answering, ”The remaining items are…”

”Who created the artifact?”

However, just as Elder Boron started explaining, Ajax asked a question that was not what Elder Boron was expecting.

”Wait…you want to ask about the creator of the artifact?”

Elder Boron became a little serious as he looked at Ajax as he continued, ”You donʼt have anything else to ask?”

”Yes. I want to know about the creator of the artifact? You must know him, right?”

Ajax was a little confused why Elder Boron was continuously asking him to ask a question.

Even when he asked a question, Elder Boron was asking him to think about whether he was forgetting a question.

”Wait…”

All of a sudden, Ajax realized what he forgot and looked at Elder Boron for a moment before saying, ”What about the other items I received by the system?”

Even though he asked, Ajax guessed that it was Elder Boron who put the items he received from the system.

”It is me who collected the items and sent them to the artifact and I am still doing it.”

Elder Boron was proud as he informed Ajax about it.

”You are sending me those items?”

Ajax was a little bit surprised when he heard Elder Boronʼs words.

Even though Ajax already guessed it was Elder Boron who put the remaining items in the system inventory, he didnʼt expect he was doing it even when he was not with Ajax.

”How are you sending the items you are collecting to the artifact?”

Ajax knew he owed his grandpa a lot and he could not never fully repay it in his life. However, now, he knew his grandfather was doing a lot of things for his sake. So, he could not help but feel warm in his head.

Nevertheless, he didnʼt forget to ask how he was able to send all those items to him without coming to him.

”I donʼt know how, but as long as I think about you while holding an item, it will disappear from my hands.”

Elder Boron didnʼt leave Ajax in suspense as he explained, ”According to your father, those items will be given to you when that artifact thinks you need it. Of course, you have to complete the mission the artifact gives you.”

”Oh.”

Even though it was not clear, Ajax could trust that the system was completely capable of doing something like that. So, he nodded his head.

”So, the world cores are also from you? You are capable of retrieving the world cores from the core realm?”

Ajax asked about the world cores because even if a cultivator has the Emperor realm cultivation, it was very difficult to retrieve a world core from the core realm.

So, he asked whether Elder Boron had such an ability to retrieve.

”I got that ability very recently thanks to the artifact. Even though I am not the artifact owner, it still gives me some benefits. So, I am more active in collecting good and rare cultivation resources for you. It is like catching two birds at once.”

Elder Boron was not jealous of Ajax; instead, he was grateful because he also receives the benefits whenever he gives the items to the system depending on the items.

”Iʼm happy to hear that.”

Ajax felt relieved when he heard that Elder Boron also receives benefits because of the artifact and felt happy about it.

”I did that same thing when your father was using that artifact but I never received such benefits; however, it was different when you were using it. So, I am very active in collecting world cores.”

Elder Boron explained something about the artifact as he continued saying while pointing his finger at Jason and others, ”Whatʼs more, I even made your three friends in conquering some demon worlds to retrieve the world cores.”
