New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 742: Something unexpected

Soon, the battle axe transferred all the knowledge regarding the grade 3 battle axe dao.

All the mysteries related to the battle-axe became clearer for Ajax with each passing minute and at the same time, the battle-axe he created from his comprehension also started to grow in size and complex runes started appearing on it.

In a flash, the time given for the last stage of the special training came to an end, and just before they were sent out of the weapon cave, Ajax received a system notification that made him reveal a huge smile.

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for successfully reaching grade 3 in battle-axe weapon doa.

Just after they were sent out of the weapon cave, Ajax started to receive even more system notifications that made his smile even wider.

ʼDing,

The mission to explore the natural weapon cave is successfully completed.

ʼDing,

The missionʼs original reward will be active when the host enters the elemental spirit world for his third official elemental spirit.

ʼDing,

Additional rewards will be given after checking the clearance rating. Please wait for some time.

ʼGood,ʼ

Ajax nodded his head and didnʼt bother to check about any other notifications because he felt like he had already received all the benefits he wanted to get.

ʼAfter I go back to the mercenary squad building, I will break the energy orbs and enter the general realm. As soon as I reach the general realm, I can enter the elemental spirit world and form the official contract with two elemental spirits and as many unofficial contracts as possible,ʼ

Ajax calmed himself as he looked at Levi who had a big smile on his face too.

”Senior brother Levi, what grade did you reach in the battle-axe weapon dao?”

”Peak grade 2….if there were a few more hours, I would have reached grade 3,”

Even though he said that he was very happy with the progress he had in the weapon cave.

”Nice”

Ajax was shocked at Leviʼs reply; however, he was happy for him and after thinking about it, Ajax felt there was no need to be shocked at his progress.

Because Levi already reached grade 3 in sword dao. So, his sword must have helped him against the battle axes in his spirit consciousness.

”What about you?”

ʼDing,

The clearance rating for the earlier is B+

ʼDing,

No additional reward will be available for the host.

Just as Levi asked a question, two system notifications rang in Ajaxʼs head that made him nearly fall to the ground.

ʼWhat the hell?ʼ

He was shocked, angry and at the same time, he felt sad.

Actually, he had high hopes of getting an energy orb from the mission. So, the disappointment he got was even more.

”Ajax...Ajax...what happened?”

Seeing that Ajax spaced out, Levi called out his name a couple of times before pushing him a little.

”Senior brother Levi, about that...I was lucky and reached grade 3 in the battle-axe dao,”

With the slight push from Levi, Ajax came out of his thoughts and replied to him.

”As expected of a personal disciple of a great master,”

Levi was not at all shocked by Ajax and praised him.

As for Ajax, he was not in a good mood because of the low clearance rating he got from the mission assessment. So, he didnʼt talk much.

Soon, the guild master came to pick them along with the other disciples on the livid griffin.

”I reached peak grade 2 sword dao,”

”I reached grade 3 sword dao,”

”Grade 2 spear dao,”

”Peak grade 2 halber dao,”

.

.

.

.

As soon as he mounted the livid griffin, Ajax heard the excited discussions of the young cultivators.

Almost all the young cultivators had grade 2 and only a few of them were able to reach grade 3.

Among them, Neil was the dark horse who reached grade 3 in sword dao. Moreover, it was an ʼignore defenseʼ type sword dao.

As long as he waved his sword, even the hardest shield could not stop his attack.

To Ajaxʼs surprise, Justice had learned a halberd dao and even reached peak rank 2 in it.

According to the system, only in very rare cases, Justice and Courage can learn cultivation techniques.

Nevertheless, he was not in a mood to check everything about Justiceʼs skills and weapon daos.

Soon, they reached a huge mansion in the same secret realm.

”Everyone can rest for the next 24 hours and mentally prepare for the champions contest,”

The guild master also didnʼt ask anything about the weapon daos because he had already known the progress of each and every one.

Without any surprises, the guild master chose Ajax who had three weapons already.

However, it was still not the time for him to give the secret cultivation technique to Ajax.

Soon, everyone entered the huge mansion and selected a room for themselves to take a rest.

....

ʼDamn it...damn it,ʼ

After entering his room, Ajax let out all his frustration as he cursed the system for giving him the low clearance rating.

ʼSystem, why did you give me the low clearance rating?ʼ

This is the first time he was unable to get the energy orb from an ʼAʼ danger rating mission. So, he was very angry as he asked the system.

ʼDing,

1) The host took too much time

2) The host could have used the full powers of the inheritance sword and the heavens destroyer spear from the beginning.

3) In short, you barely completed the mission

Just as he asked the system, it gave him three reasons making Ajax speechless.

ʼSigh...it was my fault for being soo hopeful regarding the energy orb,ʼ

Ajax sighed as he silently thought in his head as he collapsed onto the bed and tried to forget about the low clearance rating.

ʼLooks like there is no hope for me to reach the general realm before the champions contest,ʼ

This thought made Ajax bitterly shook his head and closed his eyes.

...….

In a huge hall of the same mansion,

”So, when are you going to say about the secret cultivation technique to Ajax?”

Elder Sandra asked the guild master with a serious look on her face along with the other vagrant cultivators.

”It is still a long way before I can say everything to him. Before that, I need to bring him to meet that special person after this champions contest or during the champions contest,”

”What?”

The guild masterʼs reply made everyone shocked as they asked at the same time.

”I donʼt know but he said that he might visit this yearʼs champions contest,”

The guild master said with a slight smile on his face and continued, ”According to him, this yearʼs champions contest will make many changes in the Zrochester province. So, of course, he might visit the contest.”

”So, we can finally meet him,”

Everyone became excited after hearing the guild masterʼs explanation.

How could they not meet the powerful person in the Zrochester province?

From the guild masterʼs words, he was the only one who was keeping the otherworldly races away from invading their Zrochester province.

As for the demons appearing inside the Zrochester province, they were left to the guild master and other powers in the province.
