New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 709: Holor Hammergust

ʼHuh? No special reward?ʼ

Ajax was surprised to see there was no special reward for the third level also making him shake his head.

ʼLooks like senior brother Levi is going all out,ʼ

He guessed that except for Levi no one could complete the third level within 20 minutes because he was an elite general realm cultivator. So, rank 5 spirit beasts could not do anything to him.

However, what he didnʼt know was Levi was actually fighting an early rank 6 spirit beast and 19 peak rank 5 spirit beasts in his tenth hall of the third level.

ʼThis is not fair,ʼ

Ajax felt it was unfair for mixing Levi into the competition. Nevertheless, he continued to ascend the stairs to the fourth level.

….

While Ajax ascended the stairs to the fourth level, the other participants were having a difficult time dealing with the guardians of the hall on the third level.

Neil was the first one to die in the first hall of the third level because his cultivation was low compared to others.

By the time they reached the sixth and seventh halls, the rest of the participants decided to use their strongest attacks.

Also, Edmondʼs adopted childrenʼs strength lies in the unity and since they were fighting alone, their battle prowess was greatly reduced.

”Nine-men awakening is good by when fighting individually it wonʼt help much,”

The vagrant cultivators watching muttered to themselves.

They wanted their disciples to have to fight individually because in the championʼs contest, they have to fight on their own.

…..

On the fourth floor,

”Kill early rank 6 raging steel bear,”

The female voice announced the guardian of his fist floor which was the same raging steel bear with increased strength.

ʼPlease donʼt attack like a puppet and fight like a real spirit beast,ʼ

So far, all the raging steel bears he fought, he felt like they were puppets and only followed the regular pattern to attack him.

For example, as soon as he entered the hall, they would rush at him and would use the bear paws.

However, he didnʼt know what their next attack would be because he would kill them before they could use it.

”Slam slam”

”Roar roar”

Unlike the previous raging steel bears, the spirit beast in front of him angrily slammed the ground. Just from a single glance, anyone could say that its name suits it well.

Because its eyes were completely red and roared too loud that made Ajax close his ears.

”Yes...yes. This is what I want,”

Finally, Ajax was excited to fight the raging steel bear and instead of waiting for the raging steel bear to rush at him, he himself rushed at it with a face full of excitement.

ʼMight puncturing thrustʼ

He used the full-powered thrust at the raging steel bear.

ʼClangʼ

However, when the tip of the bloodlust spear touched it, a clear metallic sound resounded in the hall making Ajax raise his brows.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSlamʼ

When his attack failed, Ajax didnʼt waste any time and jumped backwards to escape the slam from the spirit beast.

”As expected of the rank 6 spirit beast,”

Soon, the frown on his face disappeared as he looked at the rushing spirit beast with an excited look on his face.

ʼI will play with this spirit beast for some time and then use my abyssal beastgod bloodline,ʼ

Ajax also rushed at the raging steel bear without any fear and started fighting it without worrying about anything.

…..

In the Hammergust familyʼs meeting hall,

”Damn you, Holor. Your complete information was wrong,”

A masked figure of around 3 meters height scolded the family head Holor with an enraged voice.

Holor Hammergust, the current family head of the Hammergust family which excels in refining the weapons.

In the meeting hall, other than family head Holor, there was a masked figure sitting on the main chair whereas Holor was respectfully standing with his hands folded.

”Devil king, I gave you the correct information. Whenever Edmond goes for ʼAʼ grade missions, he would only take Udo along with him,”

The family head Holorʼs face was completely covered with sweat as he continued to explain the masked figure, ”The last time I saw Udo, he only had the cultivation of mid-general realm. Also, I donʼt know that he would take that barbarian along with them. Please believe me.”

By the time, he finished his words, Holor was on his knees begging the masked figure to believe his word.

”As long as you give me a good idea to get a corpse of an elite general realm, I will let you and your family live; otherwise, I will kill you and use your corpse for my use,”

The masked figure remained silent for some time and replied to Holor.

Actually, the abyssal devil king helped Holorʼs family so much in the past that they were able to become the great family; however, because of the constant hunting by the royal family and other sects, the abyss devil kingʼs power decreased as he lost many good servants and soldiers.

Currently, he was preparing something and he needed a good elite general realm dead body who had good battle prowess when he was alive. So, he came to ask for help from Holor.

There was currently only one known elite general cultivator without any power backing him. So, Holor came up with a plan and along with the abyssal devil king, he planned a trap for Edmond.

However, who would have thought Udo would become an elite general realm cultivator and whatʼs more there was another elite general realm barbarian whose battle powers were matching with a level 6 abyss devil.

”Do you even have an idea of how many soldiers I lost? If not for the fight with your previous king, I would have killed all three of them with a simple snap,”

Seeing that Holor remained silent, the abyssal devil king became furious as he said to him.

”Devil king, since you said that Udo has become an elite general realm, then why donʼt we plan something to trap him?”

Since Edmond was mysterious and always comes out on any kind of dangerous mission, Holor thought of trapping Udo.

”But I heard Udo and Edmond always stay together. How do you plan to do it? Not to mention, they must have sensed that your family is now suspicious for trapping him in the cursed abyss,”

The devil king scoffed at him for such a silly plan.

”Devil king, I think itʼs time to collaborate with other families to kill Edmond. Also, there is bad blood between him and the fire sword sect. If you agree, I will ask the fire sword sect to help us,”

The family Holor thought for a moment and continued saying, ”Also, the six vagrant cultivators are currently busy with the special training of their personal disciples. So, before they come back, we can directly kill him. You get his corpse and their feud with him would come to an end.”

Even though Holorʼs words seemed good, the devil king felt there were many risks in it and various unknown factors that might affect their plan.

Nevertheless, in the end, he made some changes to the plan together with Holor and accepted the plan.
