New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 701: Nurturing the ʼTree of Blessingʼ

Currently, he had four elemental spirits in the general realm and they could concentrate and create spirit essence. So, Ajax was confident that if what Elder Ramon said was true, then you could have a tree of blessing in his inner world.

As long as he could nurture it, he could slowly find out what type of items the tree could give in the form of a blessing along with the benefits for his inner world.

ʼThis should do it,ʼ

After entering the inner world, Ajax didnʼt sow the seed with other plants in his herb garden; instead, he sowed it in the opposite direction from the garden.

However, there was not much distance between the seed and the mini thunder pool.

ʼCerauno, come here,ʼ

Since Cerauno was cultivating inside the mini thunder pool, Ajax called him to test the seed.

”Summoning master,”

Cerauno hurriedly went to Ajax and politely bowed to him.

”I have one request for you,”

Ajax nodded his head at Cerauno before asking him, ”Do you have any spirit essence stored in your body?”

Creating the spirit essence is a long and tedious process; however, the benefits of spirit essence are worth it.

However, he didnʼt know whether Cerauno had spirit essence in his body or not.

”Yes, summoning master. Just recently I was able to refine one drop of spirit essence,”

When he replied, Cerauno revealed a slight smile as though he had achieved something.

”If you donʼt mind, can you give that drop of spirit essence?”

Ajax never liked forcing things on others. Even though Cerauno was his contracted elemental spirit, Ajax knew how much Cerauno had worked hard to refine that one drop of spirit essence.

Refining the spirit essence or blood essence doesnʼt improve cultivation. So, if someone is refining the concentrated essences in their bodies, then their cultivation would not improve.

Some might think why someone would waste time by refining the essence instead of cultivating it. Because the blood essence or spirit essence of the cultivator could bring them back from near-death while healing all injuries on their body.

”Sure, master. I was able to refine a drop of spirit essence because of masterʼs elemental paradise,”

Cerauno didnʼt even think for a second before taking out a small white coloured drop out of nowhere.

”Thank you, Cerauno,”

Ajax revealed a smile as he thanked Cerauno for giving him the valuable spirit essence without thinking.

ʼSo, this is lightning spirit essence,ʼ

Taking the drop of spirit essence into his hands, Ajax carefully observed it for a moment.

Inside the drop, there was a hint of purple-coloured marks making it look beautiful.

ʼI hope, it will work,ʼ

Ajax silently prayed to the heavens as he extended his hand to drop the lightning spirit essence on the place where he sowed the seed.

ʼWait a second...ʼ

However, just when he was about to place it on the ground, he thought of something and retracted his hands and turned his head to Cerauno before saying, ”Why donʼt you give it for yourself.”

Since it was Ceraunoʼs lightning essence, Ajax felt it would be nice for Cerauno to place his spirit essence on the ground for himself.

Cerauno didnʼt reject it because, for some reason, he felt like doing it from the start; however, he didnʼt say anything.

Soon, he dropped it on the ground. After that, Ajax poured some water from the grade 3 elemental paradise.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he did that, within no time, a small light green coloured sprout came out of the ground and continued to grow.

With each passing second, it continued to grow making Ajax surprised and excited.

ʼHoly heavens. I didnʼt expect it to grow this much within a few seconds,ʼ

Ajax looked at the one-meter light green coloured plant in front of him with only a single leaf which was in white coloured with purple-coloured marking on it.

After reaching one meter, the plant didnʼt continue growing anymore and its colour also turned completely dark green from light-green.

ʼLetʼs see whether the system would say anything about it at least now,ʼ

Until now, the system acted like it didnʼt know anything about the seed; however, just earlier, Ajax got the clarity that the system was playing dumb.

However, now, he was able to nurture the seed into a plant and soon, he could turn it into a plant.

ʼAlso, I was able to nurture it easier than I thought,ʼ

While waiting for the system notification, Ajax felt funny that the nurturing method was right in front of him and he was racking his brains for that seed.

ʼDing,

The host was able to nurture the tree of blessing.

ʼDing,

The hostʼs access to the tree of blessing is partially unlocked.

Instead of getting the information on the tree of blessing, Ajax got a couple of system notifications that made him reveal a slight smile.

ʼGood. Now, show me the details of the tree of blessing,ʼ

Ajax nodded his head after hearing those two system notifications and asked the system to show the details.

ʼDing,

Tree name:- Tree of Blessing.

Owner:- Ajax (Summoner)

Current state:- Still growing (One leaf).

Helper:- Cerauno (Lightning elemental spirit).

Description:-? Only helpers of the tree of blessing are eligible to receive the blessings from it.

”Huh?”

Ajax raised his brows as he got to know more about the tree of blessing.

ʼSo, the tree considers the one who gives it the spirit essences as its helpers and would only bless them back...Good,ʼ

Ajax finally understood what he had to do next with this tree of blessing.

ʼI will make all my elemental spirits to help the tree of blessing and they could receive blessings in return,ʼ

Ajax became excited as he got another good thing. Moreover, it made him happier because he got the seed on his own and not from the system. So, of course, he was very happy.

Itʼs just like a ʼgive and takeʼ process. As long as the elemental spirit gives their spirit essence to the tree of blessing, it would provide benefits for them too.

ʼHowever, what I didnʼt understand is how did I end up as its owner,ʼ

After that, Ajax raised his brows as he thought about the second section on the halographic section.

Unlike other plants and trees, the tree of blessing is completely different. Moreover, it was a tree from the greater world. So, its potential and rank is very high. So, Ajax was not shocked when he saw the owner section; however, after seeing his name, he shook him a little.

Generally, Ajax had to do something like dropping his blood or marking the seed with his spirit mark to become the owner; however, Ajax had not done any of those things.

So, when he saw his name in the owner section, he was shocked for a moment; however, he was excited about the next sections. So, he kept it aside for a while before thinking about it.

ʼAlso, except for sowing, I didnʼt do anything about it. So, is that the reason why the ʼTree of blessingʼ acknowledged me as its master?ʼ

Ajax thought for a moment before rejecting it and thought, ʼHow can its standards be this low for accepting a master?ʼ
