New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 703: Breakthrough

Actually, both official elemental spirits were very satisfied with their cultivation speed; however, they never expected that they would be scolded for what they were satisfied with.

However, when they thought a little deeper, they felt Ajaxʼs words were right because as the official elemental spirits, they should be more powerful than the non-official elemental spirits.

So, looking at Volcanis and others, they were embarrassed for their earlier satisfied feelings.

ʼWe only got till here with the help of the elemental spirits and elemental spirit stone,ʼ

Both the elemental spirits thought in their heads and if not for those resources, they would have been still in the commander realm or even lower.

”If you can break through to the general realm, you can gain more benefits,”

While saying that, he pointed his finger at the ʼTree of blessingʼ and explained everything about it.

ʼReally?ʼ

Nite and Dabrus were excited as they promised that they would work even harder and reach the elemental general realm as soon as possible.

ʼI will go now,ʼ

Ajax was satisfied with the elemental spiritsʼ promise and left the inner world.

Actually, Ajax was pretty much satisfied with their progress in the cultivation; however, if he didnʼt want them to be satisfied with that level. So, he berated him.

”Looks like I need to visit the inner world once again,”

Earlier, while strolling in the inner world, he saw the little fuzzball was re-cultivating and the spirit turtle had been asleep for much time already. So, he wanted to enter the inner world if either one of them awakens.

ʼAnyway, letʼs keep these things aside and focus on my cultivation,ʼ

Even though he scolded his elemental spirits for their low cultivation, when he thought about his own cultivation, Ajax revealed a bitter smile and shook his head.

However, he knew that he needed to complete more ʼAʼ danger rating missions to get more energy orbs.

ʼBreakʼ

Without wasting any time, he broke the special energy orb in his spirit consciousness.

ʼI hope, I get four levels of increment in my cultivation,ʼ

After breaking that special orb, Ajax prayed heavens to get more levels from the orb.

Soon, the energy from the special orb was much thicker than normal energy orbs and it rushed to the walls of his spirit consciousness.

ʼDing,

The host reached level 8 elite commander realm.

ʼDing,

The host reached level 9 elite commander realm.

However, only after two system notifications, all the rich energy in his spirit consciousness disappeared without a trace.

ʼWhat? All the energy from the special orb disappeared just like that?ʼ

Ajax was a little disappointed that he got only two levels from the special orb when it could give a maximum of five levels.

ʼLooks like I need to wait some more time to reach the general realm,ʼ

Even though the special energy orb was not in his expectations before coming to this secret realm, it raised his expectations. So, except for shaking his head, he could not do anything unless the system gives him an ʼAʼ danger rating mission which would not interrupt his special training.

ʼI need just two more minor realms energy orb,ʼ

Ajax just wants one good ʼAʼ danger rating mission to successfully enter the general realm.

ʼI wonder, whether any new system features would unlock after I enter the general realm,ʼ

The general realm is one of the standard realms in cultivation. So, Ajax was expecting something from the system after he broke through to the energy realm.

ʼTime to rest,ʼ

After absorbing the Astral energy into his astral space for 24 hours, Ajax soul was stronger; however, his body needed some rest.

Even though he had many things to ask the system about astral energy, he went to sleep.

.....

Just like him, all the other young cultivators were also tired. So, without wasting any time, they went to sleep too.

.....

In the depths of the cursed abyss,

ʼUdo, keep an eye out for the devil, it is very skilled in sneak attacks,ʼ

In the mist-filled cursed abyss, Edmond transmitted his voice to Udo and asked him to be careful.

ʼHaha...who are you asking to be careful? Did you forget that I have the skill to anticipate othersʼ attacks beforehand? Not to mention, I am now an elite general realm cultivator,ʼ

Udo replied to Edmond in the same voice transmission with a laugh.

However, he still followed Edmondʼs suggestion and increased his senses of his surroundings.

”Found you,”

After a couple of moments, Udo sensed something and without waiting for Edmond, he directly took out his long axe from his back and hacked at something.

ʼKachaʼ

ʼSplashʼ

Udoʼs speed was so fast that the thing that was trying to sneak attack on Edmond was killed in an instant splashing black coloured blood.

”Edmond, this finish is much easier than I thought. Are you sure it is an ʼA+ʼ mission?”

After killing the being, Udo checked whether it was the thing they came for or not. And after confirming it, Udo revealed a dissatisfied look on his face as he asked Edmond about the mission.

It was his first mission after entering the elite general realm. So, he wanted some action; however, the mission was over just with a simple slash from his axe.

”Who cares. Letʼs take the body and submit it to the guild to get our reward. The reward will help us improve our cultivation. That was the only reason, I picked this mission,”

Edmond glanced at the body of the abyss devil and explained why he picked such a mission before asking Udo to pick the dead body.

Abyss devil belongs to the lowest type of devils among the all devils.

So, that mission was placed by one of the greater families, the Hammergust family and the reward was a drop of pure dragon blood essence.

A drop of pure dragon blood essence could be used to increase the cultivation of elite general realms; however, the most important use of it was, it would help the consumer gain a stronger body that could even stop the heaven grade weapons which were imbued with level 1 weapon dao.

As for Level 2 weapon dao imbued weapons, they could only slightly injure their bodies.

So, Edmond felt it was a good reward; however, what he didnʼt expect was the mission. It was too easy to be called an ʼA+ʼ danger rating.

”Nice”

Udo didnʼt ask who would use the drop of pure dragon blood essence; instead, he casually stored the abyss devilʼs body into his space ring.

”That drop of blood essence is too strong to consume directly. So, we need to find high-level water or portion to dilute it before we both can consume it,”

After Udo stored the abyss devilʼs body, Edmond explained to Udo while keeping an eye on the surroundings for any abyss devils to pop up.

”As you wish,”

Udo revealed a slight smile and didnʼt reject Edmondʼs words before saying, ”We are still in the outskirts of the abyss devilʼs territory. So, you can relax.”

ʼSwooshʼ

All of a sudden, a silhouette rushed past Udo and aimed its sharp claws at Edmond.

”Edmond, watch out,”

Udo shouted out loud when he saw that and as he tried to alert Edmond; however it was too late for Edmond to dodge that attack.
