New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 704: The Obsidian

According to the information they got from the mission, a single abyss devil was wandering outside the abyss devilʼs territory and they had to kill it before bringing its body back to the guild.

However, what they didnʼt expect is there was another abyss devil.

Looking at its speed, Udo could guess that its strength was around level 5 of the elite general realm.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼPuchiʼ

Just when the abyss devilʼs claws were about to penetrate into Edmondʼs throat, a huge silhouette appeared behind the abyss devil and pierced its hand into the abyss devil.

”Nice timing, Darbaudr,”

Edmond was not much worried about his safety because he had other trump cards that could save him in almost all cases; however, before he could use them, Darbaudr came to his rescue saving Edmond the trouble of using his trumps cards.

Since Ajax was busy with the special training, Darbaudr tagged along with Edmond and Udo to stretch his muscles by completing some missions.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

.

.

.

All of a sudden, many three-meter abyss devils appeared in the mist around him.

With each passing second, the number continued to increase and almost all the abyss devils have the general and elite general realm cultivation.

”Edmond, what kind of mission did you pick this time?”

Seeing the hundreds of abyss devils surround them, Udo asked Edmond with a bitter smile on his face.

”Didnʼt you want some good mission to test your new strength?”

However, Edmond revealed a slight smile on his face as he questioned back Udo.

”It is not the time to joke around, Edmond,”

Udo froze for a moment before shaking his head and replied to Edmond.

”Actually, I didnʼt know about it. I am assuming this is a trap specially laid for us,”

All of a sudden, Edmond became serious as he said his thoughts about the mission.

”A trap?”

Udo raised his brows as he thought about the mission and said, ”Are you saying that the Hammergust family is working with the abyss devils?”

”Yes, letʼs kill these things before continuing our conversation,”

After saying that, Edmond summoned a crystal sword before rushing forward to kill the abyss devils surrounding them.

”Sure,”

Udo revealed an evil smile as he started hacking down the abyss devils with his axe.

”Swoosh”

ʼKachaʼ

As for the barbarian, he would disappear and appear behind the abyss devils before piercing his hands into their bodies to take out their hearts and crushed them.

All three of them continued to fight with excited looks on their faces.

....

After five hours,

In the Astral heart secret realm,

”System, can you explain to me more about Astral energy?”

After five hours of sleep, Ajaxʼs body was no longer tired.

Moreover, since he still had an hour left before they go to their next training session, Ajax wanted to know about astral energy.

ʼDing,

Astral energy mainly used to strengthen the soul. As for the remaining benefits, the host needs to increase his cultivation of at least the General realm.

ʼOhʼ

Ajax raised his brows only for a moment before shaking his head because reaching the general realm depends on the system.

As long as it generates an ʼAʼ danger rating mission, he could gain an energy orb to break through into the general realm.

ʼDing,

Currently, there are no suitable ʼAʼ danger rating missions available. The host needs to venture more into the outside world to gain a mission.

As though the system had guessed his thoughts, it sent another notification to give him some clarification.

ʼOnce the special training is completed, I will do that,ʼ

Ajax didnʼt want to leave the special training halfway because he wanted to see all the secret realms and to know what the useful cultivation resources were in those secret realms.

So that, in the future, he could exchange them from the vagrant cultivators.

”So, what can I use the astral energy in my astral space? Do I need to store it like that till I reach the general realm?”

Ajax asked the system looking at the 80 units of astral energy in his astral space.

Thatʼs right!

After absorbing the Astral energy in the astral mountain for an entire day, Ajax was able to accumulate exactly 80 units.

ʼDing,

Just like the 2 spirit points, the host didnʼt have any use with the astral energy as of now.

The system replied as soon as he asked that question to the system.

ʼOh right! Spirit points! Currently, I have 2 spirit points, I wonder what they are used for,ʼ Ajax already knows what the system would answer if he asked about the spirit points.

So, he didnʼt bother to ask the system about it.

Back in the five elemental words, Ajax got those two spirit points when he killed the older birdman and an avatar of a demon king from the greater world.

However, he still didnʼt have a single clue about it.

ʼDamn it...damn it. Everything comes down to power,ʼ

Ajax clenched his fists whenever the system asked him to become stronger to know the answers to his question.

”Everyone, come out,”

Soon, Ajax heard a loud voice from outside that made him come out of his thoughts.

ʼIs it time already?ʼ

The voice belonged to the guild master. So, after hearing it, Ajax came out of his room and assembled outside the huge mansion along with other young cultivators.

”We are now going to the next secret realm,”

They didnʼt waste any time as everyone mounted the livid Giffin before flying out of the Astral heart secret realm.

”Elder Ramon, where are we going now?”

Since Ajax became close to Elder Ramon, he asked him which secret realm they were going to now.

To enter into a new secret realm, first, they have to come back to the Zrochester province and only then anyone could enter another secret realm.

”We are entering into Elder Esmundʼs secret realm, the Obsidian. It was famous for various types of metals and forging materials. So, he named it after his favourite refining material, the Obsidian,”

Elder Ramon not only answered Ajaxʼs question, he even explained the name along with other details of that secret realm.

”Oh”

Ajax and other young cultivators looked at Elder Esmund and revealed a slight smile on their faces.

”Okay then. Since you already know about my secret realm, I will explain your next training session. It has nothing to do with forging or its materials,”

Elder Esmund revealed a slight smile as he continued explaining, ”It is a battle tower.”

”Battle tower?”

Everyone was shocked when they heard the words ʼBattle towerʼ.

Because a battle tower is a high-level artifact that could help the young cultivators in simulating the battles.

Except for the top three sects and the Hammergust family, no one has it in their possession in the entire Zrochester province.

”You heard it right! Your next special training is in the battle tower. All you have to do is find the spirit beasts in the respective halls and clear as many levels as possible,”

”Whoever can clear the highest levels in my battle tower, I have a special gift from them,”

Esmund tempted with the reward to make them give their best.

”Yes”

All the young cultivators became excited and nodded their heads at Esmundʼs words.
