New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 725: Gaimontʼs army

Earlier, when the system gave him the mission to form a contract with Gaimont and take over his territory, Ajax understood that the system will give more missions to conquer other territories or defend his own territory from the other spirit beast kings.

So, Ajax wanted to have some knowledge about the other territories and the force under Gaimont.

”There are twelve spirit beast kings with their own territory and army including me,” Gaimont looked at Ajax for a moment and started his explanation, ”They were ranked from 1 to 12 depending on their strengths and with these ranks, their territory will be decided.”

”So, you are the weakest among the twelve spirit beast kings, right?”

Ajax interrupted Gaimont and asked him.

Since Gaimontʼs territory was on the starting of the inner section of the cursed wilderness, it was not hard to guess.

”Yes, master,”

All of a sudden, a bitter look appeared on his face when he replied to Ajax.

Currently, Gaimont is in a human form. A middle-aged man in light golden armour with golden hair.

”Not only I am weak but their army is also very? powerful and I wonʼt dare to wage a war against them,”

Suppressing his emotions, Gaimont said to Ajax.

ʼNo wonder, he easily accepted my offer when I promised him to evolve him into a golden dragon king,ʼ

Finally, Ajax understood why Gaimont formed the contract with him.

Actually, Gaimont worked very hard from the start and from a low-level brown-coloured wyvern, he reached the golden coloured wyvern.

It is the peak stage any wyvern could reach and from there onwards, no matter how hard a wyvern works, except for increasing some strength, they donʼt have any hope of entering even the demi-king realm not to mention the actual king realm.

So, Gaimont didnʼt want to leave any chance that could help him evolve into a golden dragon king which had a boundless future.

”As for the exact strength of their armies, I donʼt have any clear idea because itʼs been so long since someone waged a war against other spirit beast kings,”

While Ajax was in his own thoughts, Gaimont finished explaining about the other spirit beast kings and their territories.

”Huh?”

Ajax came out of his thoughts; however, he revealed a confused look on his face when he heard Gaimontʼs words.

Because, compared to humans, the spirit beasts like to fight more with one another. So, Ajax felt something was wrong with the spirit beast kings for not fighting for so long.

”Actually, there is a reason for it. Other than these 12 spirit beast kings, there is a powerful spirit beast king who gives orders to us. Since he is too powerful and we canʼt beat him even if all of us joined together. So, we accepted him as our king and follow his orders,”

Gaimont could understand the reason for the confused look on Ajaxʼs face and explain without wasting any time.

”What?”

As for Ajax, he was completely shocked when he heard those words.

A spirit beast king which could not be beaten by the twelve spirit beast kings who were on par with the vagrant cultivators. So, of course, he would be shocked to hear that.

”Moreover, he said that he made an agreement with the humans that they should not enter the inner section of the cursed wilderness. If they enter the inner section, the spirit beasts can kill them without any hesitation and the same rule is applicable to the spirit beasts from the inner section that they should cross the middle section of the cursed wilderness on their own risk of getting killed anytime in the hands of the humans.”

”He also set conditions as we should only wage war against others when the two spirit beast kings are willing.”

”And, every spirit beast in the territory needed to be carefully trained and should not kill others.”

.

.

.

”All these conditions made everyone irritated and annoyed. So, they are just waiting for him to die before getting their freedom.”

Soon, Ajax got a clear idea of why he was not killed when he entered this territory; however, when he heard the last sentence, Ajax frowned and felt a little unhappy.

A spirit beast king who is keeping the other spirit beast kings in order should not die; otherwise, the spirit beast kings who were hungry for some blood would start waging wars on the human world.

Until now, Ajax thought that the reason why no high-level spirit beasts attacked the humans was because of the mercenary guild, royal family, the top three sects and the great families.

However, he never expected that a spirit beast king was helping the humans and spirit beasts from fighting one another.

It made him respect that the King of the spirit beasts kings more.

”Is he going to die?”

Ajax didnʼt ponder much about the information that Gaimont had given him and asked about the king of the spirit beast kings.

”I donʼt know what happened to him. According to the rumour, he will live for another 2-3 years at most,”

Gaimont bitterly replied to Ajax.

As the weakest spirit beast king, he was surviving only because of his kingʼs conditions and once he is gone, then others will swallow his territory because it is very easy for them to conquer his territory.

ʼAfter taking my revenge, I should see whether I can help the spirit beast king or not,ʼ

Even though he has respect for the king of the spirit beasts, that doesnʼt mean he would go and say that ʼI will help youʼ, because he still didnʼt have good resources that could help a being of that level.

So, he could only think about helping the spirit beast king after his strength is increased.

”Now, tell me about your territory. How big your army is and what type of cultivation resources you have,”

Soon, he came to the main point and asked him about his territory.

”Yes, master,”

Gaimonst nodded his head and continued, ”My territory is mostly filled with wyverns because other spirit beasts donʼt like me as their king and joined other territories.”

”Nevertheless, I impressed many spirit beasts from other races to work for me,” Gaimont revealed a bright smile as he continued to say, ”My territory has three silver wyvern kings who act as the generals and under each one of them, they have 10 silver wyverns who leads 1000 brown wyverns each.”

ʼLooks like the silver wyvern kings are mutated ones, I guess,ʼ

Ajax already know that brown wyverns were rank 5 spirit beasts, silver wyverns were rank 6; however, he didnʼt know about the silver wyvern kingʼs strength.

However, Ajax guessed that they must have the battle prowess of more than a mid-rank 6 spirit beast.

”Also, there are other special spirit beast units which mostly comprised of spirit beasts other than wyverns,”

While Ajax was thinking about the strength of the silver wyvern king, Gaimont continued to explain about other units.

”Overall, I have an army of 35000,”

ʼWith this army and my own mini-army, I think I can easily wage a war on the assassin sect.ʼ

Finally, Gaimont gave the total count of his army and as soon as he heard that, Ajax felt like he could wage a war on the assassin sect.
