Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 393: Chapter 215: Next Time, Have Your Real Body Come

Seeing that He Yun was already unstoppable, and from his own perspective, he also quite liked He Yun.

Why not just go along with it?

”Wait a moment!” Wu Chang suddenly thought of something, stopping He Yun from taking off his shirt.

He Yun was a little impatient, ”You’re not going to tell me there’s someone else, are you?”

Wu Chang shook his head, ”Not that, I just want to say that in order to hide my identity, the body I used to enter the Underground Shelter is actually my Clone, not my true body. I want to continue when my true body comes in.”

He Yun: ”Huh?”

She pinched Wu Chang’s upper body, feeling the texture of flesh, very warm, and the medical equipment tests showed everything was normal, how could it be just a clone?

”So is your current body a clone, an android, or a bio-hybrid?”

Wu Chang shook his head and said:

”None of those, it’s another me split off using a special Item. This might sound a bit convoluted, but this body is another me, controlled by my consciousness, capable of synchronizing all sensations with me, but it’s not truly me.”

Looking at the question marks all over He Yun’s face, Wu Chang really wanted to say, Extraordinary Abilities, quite amazing, right?

”Furthermore, the current form is the result of me altering my physique and appearance, intended to be presented to people like Gu Feng, it’s an image of Peace, not the true me.”

He Yun said with a hint of understanding: ”I want to see how you truly look.”

”As you wish.”

Wu Chang removed the Disguise Mask, transforming from a broad-shouldered muscular frame to a well-proportioned fitness model-like figure.

His facial features still bore some resemblance, but the rugged face became softened, and his resolute expression turned into a relaxed and slightly lazy youthful face.

This is his original appearance; if he hadn’t transformed right before He Yun, even if he passed right by her, she wouldn’t recognize him.

Wu Chang said, ”My true name isn’t Peace, it’s Wu Chang, I wonder if that disappoints you.”

He did not hide his identity from He Yun.

He Yun placed her trust in him, gave her world to him, and was even handing over her heart and body to him—all this she did, so he naturally had no reason to hide.

Looking at Wu Chang’s face, He Yun suddenly realized:

”No wonder many times your actions, and the words you say, don’t match that face of yours. If it’s the current state, then it makes more sense.”

”I prefer your current look to your previous appearance.”

Hearing this, Wu Chang was relieved. If He Yun had liked only muscular men, he would’ve had to find a way to bulk up with Gao Xuezong.

Feeling relieved, he suddenly noticed He Yun’s hands started moving again.

”Weren’t we supposed to wait for my true body to arrive?”

He Yun said earnestly, ”I promised you before, if you could help me seal the Stone Temple, I would customize a battle mecha for you. Do you still want it?”

”Yes! Of course, I do!” Wu Chang answered without hesitation.

The mecha customized by He Yun, with its full output, could definitely obliterate a max-level player with one shot; counted as an Item, it was definitely A-Level.

And what man could refuse his very own, Iron Man-style portable battle mecha?

Seeing Wu Chang’s reaction, He Yun’s lips curved slightly, and she said:

”That’s settled then. For the custom mecha, I need your body’s data, so stay still, let sister take your measurements.”

After a set of measurements, He Yun uploaded all of Wu Chang’s body data to the workbench and began generating the corresponding model according to Wu Chang’s requirements.

At Wu Chang’s request, the mecha was selected in a classic red-and-gold color scheme.

Once the plan was finalized, Wu Chang stroked the 1:1 scale 3D printed model, his eyes filled with anticipation.

”How long will it take to complete?”

He Yun tapped the keyboard and said: ”Around thirty days, maybe quicker, maybe slower.”

Wu Chang’s Plane Controller privileges allowed him to bring out one Plane-produced Item every 15 days, or modify an existing Item.

The custom mecha would take thirty days to build, enough time for him to complete another Item modification in the meantime.

So, he brought out the Dawn Hammer and asked He Yun if it could be modified.

As a C-Level Item, the Dawn Hammer’s strength was starting to fall short in the nearly out-of-control A-Level dungeon.

Being a technology-based Item, with He Yun’s technical prowess, modifying it was not difficult.

She merely took one look and told him it could be modified, with the modification period exactly as restricted in the Plane, fifteen days.

Since, with his current strength, the Dawn Hammer played a minimal role, he left the Dawn Hammer with He Yun as his first output from his private Plane.

Wu Chang, controlling the True Self, stayed with He Yun in the Underground Shelter for a few days. Seeing the deadline to enter the dungeon approaching, he told He Yun he needed to leave but would be back soon.

Without much persuasion to keep Wu Chang, He Yun merely squinted her eyes as he left, like an old hunter waiting for the prey to walk into the trap, and slowly said:

”When you come to collect the gun and the custom mecha, remember to use the true body, if the true body doesn’t come, then don’t bother coming in at all.”
