Death… And Me

Chapter 3385: Waterdog

Rean and Kentucky thought they heard it wrong. ”A... seal...? The animal from Earth? That seal?”

[Thatʼs the one. Why are you even asking? You two can use your senses to see it as well.]

Rean and Kentucky looked at each other before their senses dove into the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. Sure enough, when they checked their connection to the Dimensional Realm, the part where they used to go in and out, there was truly a seal there. No, to be more specific, it was the image or kind of an astral projection of a seal.

”Hey, itʼs that head! This seal has a lot of scales over its body, especially on its head. No wonder I felt like I knew it before. It was a seal...” Rean spoke, now certain of what he saw.

”But... is it a seal seal?” Kentucky couldnʼt help but ask.

Rean tried to use his connection with the dimensional realm to feel the seal... or the seal... or the seal that is a seal... ”Err... maybe? It is a seal that is sealing the entrance as a seal, a seal sealing seal... seal seal seal? Am I making any sense here? Why do I feel like Iʼm speaking nonsense?”

”Roan would probably say that thatʼs what you always do...” Kentucky mentioned.

Reanʼs mouth twitched. ”Donʼt tell him that.”

Rean quickly shook his head. ”Whatever! Sister Orb, get rid of it. We wonʼt be able to enter that way.”

[I canʼt,] Sister Orb answered.

”What do you mean with you canʼt? You are the supreme god of the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. There is nothing there you canʼt do!” Kentucky retorted.

[Yes, you arenʼt wrong...] Sister Orb continued to check the seal... or the seal... [But the seal sealing seal is not inside the Dimensional Realm per se. It is more attached to the outside connection entrance than the inside. Still, it is not in the real world either. It is in between, so I canʼt do anything about it. The powers of the Dimensional Realm are only usable in the Dimensional Realm.]

Rean didnʼt even know how to work on it. ”Can I attack it from outside? I donʼt know. Perhaps you can try to open a spatial tunnel to the Dimensional Realm, and it would review the seal seal.”

[I can give it a try...]

Immediately, a gap between the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm and the outside world began to form. Sure enough, right in the middle of it, the seal projection appeared.

*ORT!*

*Plink!*

The seal suddenly barked, a bright blue light shined from its body, and the tunnel instantly closed. Rean and Kentucky didnʼt have time to try anything. ”What kind of bullshit is that?!”

Inside the Dimensional Realm, Sister Orb called Roan, Rifindio, and Zangeshu, showing the situation. This time, she failed to even open the gap, as the seal seal prevented the tunnel from taking form. [You see?]

Roan narrowed his eyes, using his connection with Rean to speak. ”Just how the hell did you do this?”

”Fuck you!” Rean cursed back. ”You have access to my memories, just check it. I had nothing to do with this situation. I was trying to save time here, you know?”

Roan narrowed his eyes and checked Reanʼs memories. As always, as long as they allow it, Rean and Roan can have access to each otherʼs memories. ”Divinity Realm? There wasnʼt supposed to be anything in the Divinity Realm in the Divine Snow World.”

”You are talking about it as a seal the animal and as a sealing seal. However, just what is this animal called seal?” Rifindio asked, thinking that it might be connected to the situation.

Sister Orb quickly shared her knowledge from Earth and the seals back there with Zangeshu and Rifindio so they would understand why they call it a seal.

After seeing that, Zangeshu got close to the entrance connection. Even though the seal sealing seal wasnʼt properly inside the Dimensional Realm, he could still see and analyze it at least. ”Iʼm quite good with seals, but this is the first time I see one like this. Itʼs just that Iʼm from a mortal world, so my knowledge is quite insignificant in the Divine Realm. What I can say for now is that this seal seems to have a connection to the outside world instead.”

”The seal animal or the seal seal?” Kentucky asked again.

”This is fucking confusing!” Roan lost his patience. ”For now, letʼs use Waterdog for the animal and simply Seal for the sealing power.”

”Waterdog fits quite well,” Rean nodded. ”So, the connection you can feel is the waterdog or the seal itself?”

”The seal itself,” Zangeshu answered. ”If you pay attention, you should notice that this seal seems to be absorbing the freezing energy of the outside world.”

Rean, Kentucky, Rifindio, and Roan checked it as best as they could. Sure enough, it was practically imperceptible, but it was there, a constant flow of freezing energy. Perhaps calling it freezing energy was incorrect. There was something else to it. Regardless, it was there.

”So... Rean and I canʼt go back to the Dimensional Realm for now, right?” Kentucky asked.

[Yes,] Sister Orb confirmed. [and those inside canʼt go out either.]

”Mar-Marviii-vinnnn...” It was at that moment that Rean and Kentucky heard a voice.

Turning in the voiceʼs direction, they saw that owner of the voice was almost completely covered in frost. If not for the fact that he was trembling nonstop and circulating a huge amount of Divine Energy, one would think he was just an ice statue. ”Hey! Itʼs Gram!”

Rean quickly approached him, using his Light Element and Sky Energy on the guyʼs body. In a minute or so, Gram was freed from the freezing energy that kept seeping into his body.

Gram felt amazed by Rean and Kentucky. Their cultivations were still in the Void Tempering Realm, and yet, they seemed completely fine in this environment. ”Th-Thank you... But, how can you look so fine?”

”That doesnʼt matter now,” Rean spoke back. ”Why are you even wasting your time here outside? You should have just entered your Pocket Dimensional Realm to flee from this environment. Wait in there for the next thirty years or so, and then you can come out when the Overflow is over.”

”I canʼt!” Gram almost cried after hearing that. ”There is a fucking weird creature blocking my passage into my Pocket Dimensional Realm. I feel like it is the same one that attacked us... or at least similar to that.”

”Oh...” Rean and Kentucky quickly understood. ”Seems like it isnʼt just the two of us then.”

And as always, any Golden Tickets and Stones are welcome. ;)
