Death… And Me

Chapter 3238: New Technique

Rifindio shrugged as he believed it was worth the risk. ”In my opinion, it is worth the risk. First of all, we have to rob a Spaceship anyway since those things are available for sale. Only some select groups on the planet can access such means of transportation. Besides... if it is the same same type or similar spaceship, I know how to pilot it.”

Rifindio continued. ”The best part about these ones is that you donʼt need more than a single person to make it work. I also know how to deactivate its tracker so no one will come after us once we warp away. As I said, it is a very good model for the Mortal World. Still, even in the Divine Realm, it isnʼt that bad.”

Rifindio then looked around. ”Last but not least, it definitely fits this enormous pocket Dimensional Realm of yours, so you can bring it around if you wish.”

Roan decided as soon as he heard that. ”Then thatʼs what we will get. The time we will save is definitely worth the trouble. Besides, we are definitely strong enough to force our way through and steal it. No one on this planet would have the power to stop us.”

”That reminds me,” Zangeshu jumped in. ”With Duereʼs death... wonʼt the Supreme Palace send someone to investigate? And I doubt it will be someone in the Void Tempering Realm this time.”

Roan already expected that. ”They will, no doubt. Thatʼs why we need to leave as soon as possible. If someone in the Elemental Space Realm or above finds us, it will be very unlikely we can escape.”

*Clap!*

Rean clapped his hand, putting an end to that topic. ”Alright, it is decided. We will go with Duereʼs Spaceship. In any case, even if Duereʼs Spaceship isnʼt there in the Inquisition Hallʼs space station, there is bound to be some other we can steal. Itʼs just that it will be harder to learn how to control it, so we might need to kidnap some pilots as well. We will find out when we get there.”

Roan agreed. ”For now, you guys go do something else. Once Foliana and the others arrive, we can leave this place.”

Rifindio, Zangeshu, and Kentucky didnʼt mind it. The three quickly left, leaving the twins alone with Sister Orb.

[Finally, some us time.]

”Donʼt make it sound worse than it is,” Roan complained.

[Tch...]

The twins approached the orb, touched it, and sent their Spiritual Sense and Energy inside. Soon, the list of Upgrades appeared on their minds.

The first thing they looked for was that Abyssal Path Detector they earned after capturing the Abyssal Soul Shard.

[Abyssal Path Detector: Capable of locating Abyssal Paths for use. Although extremely dangerous, these paths can connect different points of the Universe. The places they connect to are not accessible by any other means.]

Rean narrowed his eyes. ”So... it is some kind of exploration feature? Maybe a game is a better way to put it. We get into one of these paths and come out in a dungeon where we look for treasures or some shit like that?”

Roan snorted. ”Simply put, ignore this featureʼs existence. We have no time for meaningless explorations.”

Rean agreed with Roan on that point. ”Indeed. Letʼs just leave it aside.”

Next, the twins looked for the new upgrades the system had promised once they completed the quest. There was only one available, though.

[Celestial Sky Soul Bloodline Cultivation Technique: 100 Celestial Points.]

[Notice: This Cultivation Technique will eliminate the Yin and Yang Starlight Body Cultivation Technique as well as the Dark and Light Cultivation Techniques. Sky Energy is

necessary to cultivate with this Technique.]

[Warning: The hostsʼ actual cultivation of body and energy does not match the new technique requirements. A reset will be necessary.]

The twins were baffled by that new option. ”Sister Orb, what is this about?”

[You guys became capable of using Sky Energy, which you merge Divine Origin Energy, Starlight Energy, and Soul Power to create, right?]

The twins nodded and waited for Sister Orb to continue. They gave this energy such a name simply because it had a light blue color when merged.

[It is what it is described. It is a cultivation technique that uses that ultimate form of energy. Have you never thought it to be weird?]

”What is weird?” They didnʼt catch Sister Orbʼs meaning.

[Sky Energy,] Sister Orb continued. [This new type of energy of yours is such a high-level energy. And yet, other than using it for battle, you never used it anywhere else. You see, even if you consider Chaos Energy, your Sky Energy doesnʼt lose to it at all. In fact, Sky Energy is above Chaos Energy, if you donʼt count the lack of other elements and laws in that mix. It is not a bad thing, though. You only kept what was good for you. Simple as that. So, definitely better than Chaos Energy in your cases.]

She continued. [Chaos Energy is the Origin of all mainstream cultivation energies. Even Soul Power is related to it to a certain degree. However, it is truly just that, a chaotic type of energy. The Sky Energy you acquired fuses everything back together. Well, not everything, just the parts that you need. However, this time, what you get isnʼt a chaotic agglomeration of primitive energy, elements, and laws that are hard to control. What you get is something better, stronger, and perfectly usable.]

[Thatʼs why I asked: Donʼt you think it is weird? How come you can create such a powerful and yet easy to use energy and never use it for cultivation? Thatʼs where this Celestial Sky Soul Bloodline Cultivation Technique comes in. Once you get it, you will cultivate with Sky Energy. It goes without saying that this technique will have two variations, one for Light and one for Dark. You two will still need to cultivate together to get the best results, exchanging elements in the process as you always did.]

[Also, from that moment onwards, you will have a bloodline, the Celestial Soul Bloodline. This is a bloodline that doesnʼt lose at all to Kentuckyʼs Regal Bloodline.]

The twins narrowed their eyes. It did look like a very good upgrade. Still... ”What about this

reset thing?”

They had more questions, but that was the part that bothered them the most.
