Death… And Me

Chapter 3225: Ultimate Skills

Duere couldnʼt be blamed for thinking he could outlast the twins and Kentucky. He wasnʼt the first one to fall for this trap, either. Rean and Roanʼs Yin Yang Cultivation Technique allowed them to have Dantians capable of storing over three times more energy than experts of the same level.

This incredible advantage had its own drawbacks. For example, the twins always needed several times more energy to cultivate a single realm than anyone else. Fortunately for them, Rean was really, really good at earning Spiritual Stones, so they never truly had to worry about the lack of energy. Even when they came to this planet, the twins barely met this kind of problem. Letʼs not forget the fortune the twins did back in the Sunlight Realm as well.

As for Kentucky... Well, his cultivation was being suppressed to the Peak Stage of the Transition Realm. However, his real cultivation was the Late Stage Divinity Realm instead. His Demon Core hasnʼt changed at all. It still had the same space to store energy, so Kentucky had almost unlimited energy reserves since he couldnʼt use them all.

The twinsʼ group truly knew how to make very good use of this kind of advantage.

*Crack, crack, crack... bang!*

That advantage eventually bore fruits. Duere couldnʼt keep his own Domain working anymore, and it shattered in front of the tens of thousands of experts in the area. With that, Kentucky and Roanʼs Domain, which could act directly against their opponents, didnʼt have anything stopping them anymore.

Roanʼs Dark Element began to corrode Duere from inside, while Kentuckyʼs Feather Blades assaulted him from every possible direction. At the same time, Rean, Roan, and Kentucky attacked as well. They didnʼt want to give the guy even a moment of respite.

Finally, Duere lost all means of defense. Rean, Roan, and Kentucky approached without holding back, attacking with the help of their domains. This time, they intended to completely destroy Duereʼs body to the point even the Chaos Energy wouldnʼt be able to pull it back together.

Too bad Duere wasnʼt over yet.

*BOOM!*

Out of nowhere, a huge burst of Chaos Energy came out of Duereʼs body, blasting everything and everyone in the surroundings away. Not even the twinsʼ group, including Kentucky, could hold their position, being forced to retreat.

*Crack...*

In the next second, an enormous crack in space appeared, akin to a Spatial Gate, but different.

The twinsʼ group and Rifindio quickly recognized that crack. It had a purple light behind it, very similar to the crack they had found in the Fragile Dimensional Realm. ʼIs it the Abyssal Soul the system talked about?ʼ Rean and Roan thought at the same time.

Huge quantities of Chaos Energy flowed from the crack, entering Duereʼs body and recovering his energy reserves. At the same time, Duereʼs wings began to change from red to black while the black fog thickened.

Still, that was a weird move. If Duere could have done that from the start, why did he wait until now to pull off this card? The answer came out in the next moment.

*Crack, crack, crack...*

As the Chaos Energy entered Duereʼs body, it also began to break his body from within. The injuries that it healed kept opening, just to be closed again. It was pretty obvious. Duereʼs body simply couldnʼt control that much Chaos Energy.

Duere seemed oblivious to the various injuries opening and closing on his body, though. Only hatred seemed to exist on his face while he looked at the Rean, Roan, and Kentucky. ”I didnʼt want to waste this body, but since it came to this, I might as well make good use of its last moments. Die for me!”

The crack in space finally closed, and Duere absorbed all the Chaos Energy he could from it. In the next second, the world changed color again, and the twinsʼ group felt their bodies being pressed by the Chaos Energy alone. As far as the twins know, Chaos Energy is the most primordial type of cultivation energy, the very first form that gives birth to all other cultivation energies. Even they felt the difficulty to fight against that with Spiritual Energy alone.

*Zush!*

Duere, or whatever was controlling him, made full use of its overflow of Chaos Energy. With a single flap of his Bat Wings, he already flashed in front of the twinsʼ group. In the next moment, those wings opened, and over half of all the blood inside Duere came out, forming three distinct Blood Spears.

ʼHe truly used the sacrifice spears...ʼ Rifindio murmured to himself from afar. He knew that technique. Once used, all of Duereʼs bloodline would be gone. Recovering it would be pretty much impossible, so Camazotz Bats would never use it unless they were forced to the limit. It was incredible that Duereʼs body could resist such a burden, and it undoubtedly would perish soon after. Yet, the soul controlling it didnʼt seem to care at all. As long as it got rid of Rean, Roan, and Kentucky, the rest could be manageable. These three were the only problems with its plans.

Using Chaos Energy to prevent the twinʼs group from moving, it finally attacked!

ʼCamazotz Sacrifice Spears!ʼ

Even space broke apart as the three spears shot in Rean, Roan, and Kentuckyʼs direction. That attack surpassed Duereʼs Peak Stage Void Tempering Realm level of strength, being somewhat near the Middle Stage of the Space Bending Realm in pure power. With that, Duere was certain his enemies would be taken down.

”Seems like we did the right thing to hold onto it until now...” Yet, a whisper echoed in the surroundings as Rean, Roan, and Kentucky acted.

The Divine Energy they had stored in their Dantians and Core immediately flared. They mixed with their Soul Power and Stellar Energy, creating a Sky Energy very close to the real thing. They might not be able to move while relying on Spiritual Energy, but Divine Energy definitely had enough power to allow them to retaliate, especially if used to make Sky Energy. Last but not least, the twins accessed the Celestial Soul System.

[Yin Yang Cultivation Unbalance Domain - 01 Celestial Point every ten seconds. Activate?]

[Yin Yang Body Fusion - 10 Celestial Points. Activate?]

ʼYes!ʼ They wished in unison.

Celestial Points were quickly spent, and those two ultimate system skills came to life once again!
