The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2594: Chapter 2594: Open-Minded (Part 1)

And as Yang Ruxin and the others watched the procession pass, they left the window and began eating hot pot.

”I wonder if that princess is pretty.” Sini said with some regret, ”I didn’t get to see her just now.”

”They’ll be staying here for quite a while. There will definitely be banquets at the palace. How about I take you with me then?” Yang Ruxin looked at Sini.

Sini just pouted, ”But I don’t like going to the palace; there are so many rules, and we have to kneel all the time, it’s really uncomfortable.”

”I don’t like going to the palace either.” Zhou Ying shook her head as well.

”The food in the palace isn’t tasty, but the snacks are alright.” Erya smacked her lips.

”What should we do then?” Yang Ruxin shrugged, ”If you want to see the princess from Jin Country, but don’t go to the palace, how can you? There’s no guarantee the princess will leave the palace.”

”Then we won’t bother seeing her. The Crown Prince from Jin Country isn’t better looking than our brother-in-law, and the princess surely isn’t either.” Sini thought about it and shook her head.

Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but chuckle, truly a child’s logic.

Just then, someone knocked on the door, but before anyone could go and open it, it was pushed open.

”Countess? Why are you here?” Yang Ruxin looked in surprise at the entering Jiang Fangfei.

Everyone quickly greeted her.

Jiang Fangfei came in and found a chair to sit down on casually, ”That Crown Prince is going to be my husband in the future; I naturally want to take a look first.”

”Countess, are you really going to marry him?” Dong Wenxiu looked worried.

”Yes.” Jiang Fangfei nodded, ”I am a daughter of the Imperial Family. I’ve enjoyed fortune and luxury for over ten years, naturally I have to take on the responsibility as a daughter of the Imperial Family. Besides, I just saw him, and Wanyan Liang is quite handsome, at least he doesn’t make me feel disgusted.”

”But it’s so far away.” Erni went over to hold Jiang Fangfei’s hand, ”Countess, it’ll be hard for you to come back in the future.”

”It’s fine, at least when I go there, I’ll be the Crown Princess Consort, and in the future, I’ll be the Empress of Jin Country.” Jiang Fangfei, in turn, patted Erni’s shoulder, ”You should consider me lucky, shouldn’t you? After all, many people would break their heads for such luck. Alright, I haven’t eaten anything yet, is there any food left?”

”I’ll have some more brought up.” Yang Ruxin signaled to Chai Qin.

Chai Qin went out for a short while and then brought up some more meat dishes.

Jiang Fangfei ate heartily.

”I like her character.” Nian Qianqian looked at Jiang Fangfei, ”I’ll find an opportunity to teach you a few things, so when you go to Jin Country, no one will dare to bully you.”

”Thank you, Senior Nian.” Jiang Fangfei’s eyes lit up, ”I’ll find some time to come over, or would you come stay at the palace for a couple of days?”

”No, thank you.” Nian Qianqian directly refused.

Jiang Fangfei just laughed.

”Do you really have to go?” Yang Ruxin handed her a glass of water.

”I’m the most distinguished in terms of status, and my appearance is superior.” Jiang Fangfei drank some water, ”However, there are a few suitable candidates, you probably know them; they were poisoned before. There are also daughters of several ministers who are being considered; you know Zheng Xianrou, right? Besides her, the others aren’t very competitive, but Zheng General only has this one daughter, so the Emperor probably won’t send her.”

”You’re quite open-minded.”

”What good would fussing do?” Jiang Fangfei’s smile turned a bit bitter, ”Would it cause trouble? That would only make my parents uncomfortable and the Emperor displeased.”
