The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2588: Chapter 2588: Chatting (1)

Sanni sat nearby and naturally heard everything clearly, she couldn’t help but sneer: ”Fighting doesn’t have to be known by everyone. We can do it secretly. Listen to me, and we’ll act according to circumstances.”

Qi Zizi touched her chin: ”Anyway, just watch for yourselves. If it doesn’t work out, I can always go and act spoiled with the Empress Dowager, surely she won’t let you be punished.”

”Zizi sister, you’re really something.” Zhou Ying raised her thumb in approval.

Qi Zizi wore a proud expression: ”Of course, how could I not, since you are my friends?”

Yang Ruxin and the two ladies took the lead with the three beans in the front carriage, naturally oblivious to the group of little ones behind, who were scheming to beat someone up. Even if she knew, she probably wouldn’t stop them, she’d just advise them to have evidence before taking action; those who coveted her man deserved a beating.

Dong Wenxiu and Feng Zilan were entering the palace for the first time, very tense, but the three beans seemed quite excited about entering the palace, enthusiastically looking around along the way without showing any signs of fatigue.

Soon, the two carriages arrived at the palace gates; with the Emperor’s gold medal bestowed upon Yang Ruxin, coupled with the presence of the nannies beside the Empress Dowager and Qi Zizi, they were passed through without inspection.

Upon entering the palace, they switched to a green-glazed small carriage that took them directly to Kangshou Palace.

The Kangshou Palace already had quite a few people gathered, besides some concubines from the harem, there were also several noblewomen, most of whom Yang Ruxin was acquainted with.

Yang Ruxin led the group in paying respects.

”These little ones look full of spirit.” The Imperial Noble Consort Mu smiled at Erni and the others, ”Xinxin is indeed a good elder sister.”

The Empress Dowager nodded, ordering someone to bring items over, rewarding each one with a gift: jewelry for the girls, a set of scholar’s four jewels for Xiaofeng, and a treasure sword for Zhou Xiao.

”You’re all good children, I hope you two work hard and guard Daxuan one with literature, one with martial arts.”

The two little ones were thrilled beyond words, promptly and respectfully knelt down, kowtowing to express their gratitude.

”Quickly bring the three beans over for me to see.” The Empress Dowager no longer attended to others but focused on the children in Dong Wenxiu and others’ arms, instructing them to move away the side table from her Arhat bed, laying down the pre-prepared brocade quilt.

Yang Ruxin turned to receive Lun Dou from Chai Qin and placed him on the brocade quilt.

Dong Wenxiu and Feng Zilan hurriedly placed the other two on it.

The little ones had been excited throughout the ride in the carriage, falling asleep upon entering the palace, but now they had opened their eyes.

”This is Hei Dou,” Yang Ruxin introduced each one to the Empress Dowager, ”This is Lun Dou, and this is Huang Dou.”

”Oh my, these two girls look exactly alike, even their expressions are identical,” the Empress Dowager beamed with joy as she watched the three little ones.

”This Little Black Dot is indeed adorable.” The Imperial Noble Consort Mu smiled and moved Hei Dou’s little hand.

Little Black Dot instantly clutched her finger.

The Imperial Noble Consort Mu was overjoyed; having never had children, she couldn’t experience being a mother, and being grasped by the finger, that feeling was so subtle.

Meanwhile, Lun Dou and Huang Dou each held onto one of the Empress Dowager’s fingers, not just holding on but also kicking their tiny legs and babbling, seeming as though they were chatting.

”I can’t understand what you’re saying,” the Empress Dowager laughed, showing her teeth with her smile.

The two beans didn’t care whether the other understood, occasionally babbling a few sounds, and Hei Dou sometimes responded with some babbles.
