The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2593: Chapter 2593: The Rooster’s Tail Feathers (6)

The next day, Yang Ruxin was still asleep when Gu Qingheng and Gu Yao had already left. After getting up and having breakfast, a few little ones were excited to see the Crown Prince and Princess of Jin Country, so Yang Ruxin decided to take them directly to her own hotpot restaurant, which was on the necessary route into the city.

Shopkeeper Xiong Benwang had long been instructed by Gu Di, knowing that the shopkeeper was coming, he had prepared the exclusive private room on the second floor early.

Although the older ones were not interested in the Crown Prince and such, they were interested in hotpot, so they also came along.

Of course, enjoying a hotpot indoors in the winter is indeed very pleasant.

”They’re here,” Sini, who had been leaning out the window, suddenly exclaimed, ”so many people.”

Everyone hurried to the window to look outside. Indeed, in the distance, a grand parade was approaching, led by the Emperor’s personal guards in brocade uniforms, followed by the Crown Prince’s guard, and then different attired guards of Jin Country.

The Crown Prince of Jin Country was dressed in exclusive attire of Jin Country, sitting on horseback, riding alongside Qi Jingchen, followed by Qi Jingyi and several other princes and envoys from Jin Country, and behind them was a carriage surrounded by six maids, likely to be Princess Ningshuang of Jin Country.

Because they were far away, the Crown Prince’s appearance was unclear, but overall he looked tall and robust, exuding an untamed aura from inside out.

Paired beside Qi Jingchen, who emitted a gentle aura, they formed a stark contrast.

”Brother-in-law,” Zhou Ying sharply pointed out.

Yang Ruxin also saw Gu Qingheng, who at this moment was clad in silver armor. Despite his stunningly attractive face, he exuded a fierce aura, appearing very imposing.

Perhaps it was telepathy, as when they arrived beneath the inn, Gu Qingheng lifted his gaze and met Yang Ruxin’s eyes through the window, involuntarily smiling.

Beside him, Qi Jingyun followed Gu Qingheng’s gaze, but quickly looked away, a sense of subtle envy in his heart becoming quite apparent.

”Big sister, those people from Jin Country wear such strange clothes and accessories, they even have feathers sticking up from their heads, looking like a rooster’s butt.” Erya leaned there, suddenly making a remark.

Yang Ruxin burst out laughing, ”Those are peacock feathers.” A rooster’s butt? This girl has quite the imagination.

Just then, a small incident occurred below; the crowd was so large that those at the back couldn’t see inside, leading some impatient ones to push and shove, resulting in a girl in front being pushed out.

The girl couldn’t stand steady, falling to the ground. Although not in the middle of the road, she was in the path of the moving parade, right in front of Qi Jingyi.

Luckily, the speed was not fast, so Qi Jingyi instantly pulled the reins.

The girl was scared witless, thinking she would be injured or worse, but unexpectedly the raised horse hoof turned and landed beside her, swallowing hard.

”Miss,” a maid behind quickly approached to help her up.

”Are you alright?” Qi Jingyi asked from a height.

The girl just shook her head.

Qi Jingyi said no more and proceeded forward.

Yet the girl bit her lip, staring at that handsome silhouette, lost in thought for a long time.

It was merely an accident, Qi Jingyi didn’t think much of it and moved on.
