The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1931: Chapter 1931: Grand Gesture (Part 8)

Opening a restaurant, it’s true that even good wine fears a deep alley.

Yang Ruxin was at a loss.

”Take your time to search, don’t rush, Beijing is huge.” Gu Qingheng couldn’t offer much help and could only comfort her.

”General, madam, someone outside has delivered this.” Just at that moment, Butler Qian came over holding a box.

Gu Qingheng took it and was surprised to find it was a deed to a property, a three-story building with a courtyard in the south of the city.

”Who would be so generous?” Yang Ruxin was astonished.

”There’s a note here.” Gu Qingheng took out a note from the box and handed it to Yang Ruxin after glancing at it, ”It’s from Princess Xuan.”

”She...” Yang Ruxin was even more puzzled. She hadn’t had any dealings with Prince Xuan, not even during her last visit to the palace, now suddenly receiving such a big gift, she didn’t dare accept it.

”I think it’s related to the chili and peppercorn business.” Gu Qingheng suddenly chuckled, ”I believe you should just accept it with peace of mind. It’s their way of expressing gratitude, after all... the chili and peppercorn business, once it takes off, can earn more than enough for numerous shops...”

”But...”

”If you’re really worried, you can ask Prince Eight.”

Yang Ruxin hugged the box and was about to head out.

”It’s getting late, it’ll be dinner time soon, talk about it tomorrow.” Gu Qingheng quickly pulled Yang Ruxin back, ”Besides, the rain just stopped, the roads aren’t easy to walk on.”

Yang Ruxin had to nod, indeed she was being a bit hasty.

”Xinxin, should you have a bath?” After dinner, Gu Qingheng looked at Yang Ruxin with bright eyes.

Yang Ruxin lazily leaned on the chair and nodded, ”Yes, I haven’t properly bathed these past days, definitely need a good soak today...”

”I’ll go heat the water for you.” Gu Qingheng turned and ran off.

Yang Ruxin frowned, what’s with him today? So diligent? These things, the maids can handle, but he was out of sight, couldn’t call him back, so just let him be.

Soon enough, Gu Qingheng returned, ”Xinxin, hot water is ready, go ahead.”

Yang Ruxin blinked, but didn’t think much more of it, as he used to prepare everything for her before, she just found today’s behavior a bit strange.

When a woman has her ”visitor,” she can’t soak in a bath, and there’s no shower here, so these past days she had just been wiping down her body. Now, truly soaking in the bath barrel, it was really comfortable!

”Xinxin, don’t fall asleep, you’ll catch a cold.” Gu Qingheng walked in holding a large towel.

”Why did you come in?” Yang Ruxin yelped, the two had done some things before, but it was always in bed, never like this, so she was a bit shy.

”If I hadn’t come in, you’d have fallen asleep.” Gu Qingheng spoke earnestly, ”Hurry and get up, you’ve been soaking for two-quarters of an hour.”

”Then you go out...”

”I’ll close my eyes and won’t peek.” Gu Qingheng said, spreading the towel and then closing his eyes.

Yang Ruxin’s lips twitched. If she still didn’t understand his intentions now, she would be a fool. No wonder he was so attentive today, this guy really... Her face turned red instantly.

After waiting for a long time with no sign of her coming out, Gu Qingheng had to open his eyes, only to see his little wife clinging to the wooden tub, watching him, her face flushed, making one want to go over and bite it: ”Xinxin...” his voice was already raspy.
