The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1509: Chapter 1509: Pitiful Women (3)

Qi Jingyi, leading his troops, charged straight out of Governor’s Office Pass, even pursuing into the desert for four or five miles. Yet, they only found some items dropped by the fleeing Yuan soldiers, no trace of people.

Had he not been worried about getting lost, he would have pushed the chase all the way to the Royal Court of Yuan Country. But no matter, someday he was determined to raze the Royal Court of Yuan to the ground.

Pressed for time, the escaping Yuan soldiers couldn’t afford to take with them the food and women they held in the city and their camps.

There were two tents used to imprison the women. However, when everyone opened those tents, they couldn’t help but have their eyes turn red. Inside, more than a dozen women lay naked, their bodies bruised or covered in blood, most of them in a state of disarray...

Whenever the Yuan soldiers felt lustful, they would come over and pounce on any girl they saw at first sight. Initially, the girls might have resisted, but resistance only led to beatings and even crueller ravaging. Thus, in the end, the women became numb; motionless, letting whoever wanted to take them, as if their bodies weren’t theirs anymore.

So when the soldiers of Qi Jingyi’s army opened the tents, not one of the women inside reacted, not even the twitch of an eyeball.

There were no women in the ranks of Qi Jingyi’s army, and those girls from the Ji Residence who could still move hadn’t yet arrived. Ruxin could only have Du Man and Du Juan help these women to clean up briefly and then dress them.

Li Mingyin’s maid also joined in the effort.

Only when the women realized that their rescuers were their own kin did they begin to shed tears.

”Miss, those Yuan brutes are too despicable.” Du Man came out, her eyes swollen red, ”I must have them torn to pieces.”

Even Du Juan, usually more reserved, had red eyes at this moment.

”They are so pitiful, Miss. Can you save them?” Du Man also gave voice to what the Crown Prince and Qi Jingyi and others were thinking.

Ruxin sighed, ”I can heal their bodies, but I may not be able to heal their hearts or their fate. These women have lost their chastity; though they were victimized, once things settle down, people’s gaze will still wound them. What then will their fate be?”

”Xinxin, whatever it takes, we must first ensure they survive. As for everything else...” Qi Jingchen sighed as well.

”As for the rest, I do have some ideas. I wonder if the Crown Prince is interested in hearing them?” Ruxin raised her eyebrows slightly.

”I am,” Qi Jingchen nodded.

At that moment, the sound of a wolf’s howl came from afar. Soon, Xiaobai came running over.

Clearly, the women had been taken into custody by the officials. As for how to deal with them, that was not Ruxin’s concern anymore.

Her entire focus now was on these battered and unconscious women, including the four unconscious girls she had previously kept in a spatial pocket, and whom she had placed in a rundown house upon coming out. They were brought over by Du Juan and Du Man.

The task of treating these women was enormous, given their numbers.

Fortunately, there were military doctors available, so it didn’t leave her completely swamped.

Unexpectedly to Ruxin, Li Mingyin actively came forward to help. She too had medical skills, and being a woman, it was more convenient for her to treat the women.

This indeed lightened Ruxin’s workload.
