The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1212: Chapter 1212: Head Flower

”Tian Geng?” Yang Ruxin frowned, ”Where has he gone to? haha, last time he and your dad came running to my house causing trouble, and he even smashed a vase of mine. I haven’t sought compensation from him yet... When you go back, tell the Tian family to send over the silver when they have the time. I bought that from a porcelain shop in the county town, and I have the receipt, twelve taels of silver...”

Yang Rusong nodded, ”I understand, I shall take my leave then.” Having said that, he nodded slightly, then turned and left.

Yang Ruxin now didn’t have much of an attachment to the people in the old house; ever since Yang Anshi had a stroke and lost her fighting spirit, the Yang family’s old residence had faded into obscurity in the village, and naturally, nobody could vex her anymore.

But sometimes, she really missed the old lady’s unparalleled cursing voice. After all, it was the first voice she had heard upon transversing to this time, a true marvel of ancient times. Now, without the old lady’s voice, the whole village had quieted down.

As for Yang Rusong, he was just a somewhat pedantic and juvenile teenager, slightly selfish, but not malicious in a big way. She wouldn’t intentionally get close to him, but she wouldn’t deliberately keep him at a distance either. She had one principle concerning him: let nature take its course.

Speaking of Tian Geng, Yang Ruxin suddenly remembered something. Tian Geng had said there was an underground medicine store in Huichun Hall, but the officials had sealed Huichun Hall and thoroughly searched it, yet they didn’t find the entrance. Maybe she should go back and look for it herself.

Because Yang Ruxin had taken her family to play in the county town, she had left many chores behind, but her little companions eager to make money hadn’t been idle at all; they were all busy at home.

No sooner had Yang Ruxin returned than Li Xiang, Xiaoyu, and Li Jiaya, among others, unbidden, came running over.

”Xinxin, you’re finally back,” Li Jiaya started shouting as soon as she entered the yard. ”If you hadn’t come back, I would have gone to the county town to catch you...”

”Why would you catch my sister? Besides, with those legs of yours, could you really catch my big sister?” Sanni spoke up unceremoniously to Li Jiaya.

”I won’t stoop to argue with a little brat,” Li Jiaya dismissed with a wave of her hand, ”Go play in the mud or something...”

”You, Li Jiaya, are becoming quite bold,” Sanni’s glare sharpened, ”Let’s see how I’ll deal with you...” She lunged forward as she spoke.

The two girls immediately started giggling and tickling each other.

”You two are too childish,” Liang Xiaoyu sighed helplessly and quickly went into the house.

Li Xiang hurried after her into the house as well.

Yang Ruxin watched the girls, brimming with vitality, and felt genuinely happy from the bottom of her heart.

Li Xiang and Liang Xiaoyu had brought hair flowers they had made these past days, while Li Jiaya brought various fragranced sachets that she had crafted, all to be inspected by Yang Ruxin.

”Truly nice work,” Yang Ruxin admired the hair flowers, each one intricately handcrafted, picking one up to examine, ”I didn’t expect you to be capable of innovation on your own...”

”Xinxin, it’s all thanks to the inspiration you gave us. Now, tell me, do they pass muster?” Li Xiang was actually quite nervous; a single one cost five wen, and these days she, her mother, and her grandmother together had made nearly two hundred. They didn’t dare work too hastily, for if you did the math, that was a tael of silver.

”Pass muster?” Yang Ruxin raised an eyebrow slightly.

Everyone’s eyes widened, their breathing quickened in suspense.

Yang Ruxin felt somewhat amused but didn’t tease them any longer: ”They’re really perfect. Quickly, however many you have, I’ll take them all. The styles I taught are five wen each, and those innovative ones, six wen each...”
