The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 345: Chapter 345: Divine Sauce (Part 1)_1

Yang Ruxin looked at Han Baichuan and felt relieved. She knew her Divine Sauce had conquered him.

Sure enough, Han Baichuan had someone send the shrimp sauce to the kitchen for all the chefs to taste and give their feedback.

The feedback came quickly—all saying it was incredibly savory and delicious.

Sanni hastily tugged at Yang Ruxin, her eyes brimming with questions.

Yang Ruxin smiled slightly, giving her a reassuring look.

”So, let’s talk, girl. How much for this stuff?” Han Baichuan nodded and then turned to Yang Ruxin. ”If the price is right, I’ll take it all.”

Yang Ruxin smiled, ”I’m looking to do long-term business with the shopkeeper, not just sell these three jars.”

”So tell me, how shall we do business?”

”I’ll make it, and you sell it,” Yang Ruxin looked at Han Baichuan. ”I won’t charge an exorbitant price—thirty wen per jin...”

Sanni’s eyes widened in surprise.

”That... seems a bit expensive...”

”Expensive?” Yang Ruxin’s brows rose slightly. ”I don’t think so.” She paused, ”The shopkeeper has only heard the price, but hasn’t seen the value behind the Divine Sauce.”

Interest was growing in Han Baichuan’s eyes.

”This can be used both as an ingredient and a seasoning, and it has a long shelf life,” Yang Ruxin looked at Han Baichuan. ”If I supply it to you, you could introduce unique new dishes.” After a pause, she continued, ”I’ve seen the menu in our restaurant. The simplest dish is stir-fried vegetables, priced between fifteen to twenty wen. But if you add my Divine Sauce, you could sell it for forty wen. You, shopkeeper, should be better at this math than I am. Moreover, you can sell it separately. However, production is not easy; it includes not only the shrimp you smelled but also several types of medicinal herbs. The cost is not low, so my pricing is not high at all...”

”Ha ha... Divine Sauce? Good name...” Han Baichuan suddenly laughed. ”I didn’t expect you to be so savvy in business.”

Yang Ruxin spread her hands. In her previous life, she and her brothers had opened a beer house—they had to cover their daily expenses somehow. Although it wasn’t a big business, just selling beer and grilled meats, it stood on the shoulders of giants. Having learned from five thousand years of history, she knew quite a lot. Especially when it came to articulating theories, she was quite skilled.

”If I don’t work with you after all you’ve said, I’ll probably regret it, won’t I?”

”It depends on the person,” said Yang Ruxin with an innocent shrug.

After a brief pause, Han Baichuan laughed heartily again, ”You’re an interesting girl.” He paused, ”Alright, we’ll do it your way. However, I have one condition.”

”Please, tell me,” said Yang Ruxin with a nod.

”We need to sign a contract, and during the contract period, you can’t sell this to anyone else,” Han Baichuan, as a businessman, naturally wanted to protect his interests. ”If the contract is up for renewal, you have to consider me first.”

”No problem,” Yang Ruxin nodded. ”If others think it’s good, they can come here and buy it by the jar to take back with them. As for the price and size of the jars, that’s up to you.” As she spoke, she took out some papers from her bosom. ”I’ve already written up the contract. If you have no objections, then we can sign and seal it now.”
