The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 339: Chapter 339: Do Something Special_1

Yang Ruxin then realized, hindsight being what it is, that the two of them had been holding hands the whole time, and someone had caught them red-handed. Her face immediately flushed a bright red, ”That, Aunt Feng, I...”

”It’s nothing, it’s nothing,” Aunt Feng just laughed, ”I’ll pretend I didn’t see anything...”

Yang Ruxin: ”...”

Gu Qingheng, however, laughed out loud.

Fearing Yang Ruxin was too embarrassed, Aunt Feng quickly pushed Qingheng to leave.

Yang Ruxin watched the two of them vanish quickly and turned to enter the courtyard awkwardly, too ashamed to see anyone. Her wisdom across two lifetimes had been destroyed by that handsome boy, really, beauty leading to trouble.

Patting her face to cool it down, Yang Ruxin then entered the house and saw Erni, who was embroidering attentively. She couldn’t help sighing, ”I’m saying, Yang Ruxue, you should go out and have some fun when you’re free. Staying at home all the time will dull your wits.”

”Big sister, I don’t like the bustle,” Erni shook her head. The needlework at home was almost done, and now she was working with Aunt Dafeng on embroidery for Embroidery Village. At that moment, she was embroidering a handkerchief. ”I’d rather do embroidery in that time,” she said, lifting her head with a giggle, ”Besides, I’m already eleven, how could I possibly become dull, right?”

Yang Ruxin could only express her helplessness, but then her eyes lit up, ”Since you like needlework, why don’t I draw a few patterns for you to make something special? Who knows, it might sell for a higher price.”

”Really?” Erni’s eyes suddenly shone.

”When have I ever lied to you?” Yang Ruxin smiled, then took out some paper and a pen. However, it was really difficult to draw with a brush, so she found a small wooden stick, dipped it in ink, and began to sketch.

”What is this?” Erni stared, round-eyed, at the pattern taking shape on the paper.

”It’s a bear,” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”Just follow this pattern. Make the body first and then the ears and tail. Remember to leave an opening so that you can stuff in some cotton. Then it will be something you can hug and play with...”

”It’s so cute.” Erni instantly fell in love with it. ”I will definitely make it.”

”Take your time to figure it out as you go. Don’t worry about wasting fabric. Even if you don’t sell it, we can still keep it to hug and play with. I have many more patterns, you can work on them gradually,” Yang Ruxin said, glancing at the wooden stick in her hand. It seemed she needed to find some goose feathers, as a goose feather brush would probably be easier to use than this.

Erni nodded and then took the drawing to study on her own.

The next day, with three small jars of shrimp paste in different flavors, Yang Ruxin took Sanni to the town early in the morning. Sanni was quite suitable for business in the future—lively and bold. It was just that she was a little young, so it was time to start training her from now on.

As for Qian Er and the others, there was no rush. She would hold them off for another couple of days.

Baiwei Restaurant was the largest and the busiest restaurant in town, and it was said to do very well in Beijing and Prefectural City too.

Yang Ruxin had passed by its door several times during her previous visits to town, so she easily found her way there.

”Big sister, the town is so bustling,” Sanni exclaimed. She had only been there twice, both times following her mother to deliver things for Brother Rusong. But back then she was too young and barely remembered it. Coming here again, she felt her eyes weren’t big enough to take it all in.

”Yang Ruhao, this is just a small town,” Yang Ruxin glanced at Sanni, ”There are still county seats, prefectural cities, and Beijing...”
