The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 309: Chapter 309: Hooliganism (First Update)_1

Yuan Mengzhu sighed in relief. She had been genuinely worried that the other party would use this as an excuse to pester her son. But now, seeing how decisively they had left, and the disappointed look on her son’s face, she felt somewhat resentful toward Yang Ruxin. Her own son rarely wanted to engage in conversation with her, yet she just left?

She wanted to ask Doctor Wang about the woman’s background, but she felt too embarrassed to do so, and in the end, she just let her son be disappointed.

However, no matter how conflicted the County Magistrate’s madam felt, Yang Ruxin had already left the pharmacy, leisurely strolling back the way she came. Since it was already noon and she wouldn’t make it back in time for lunch, she decided to stop by a noodle shop on the next street for a bowl of noodles.

After leaving the noodle shop, she casually walked into several food stores, buying a stash of steamed buns, stuffed buns, roast chicken, and even a good amount of baked sweet potatoes and candied haw. She dumped everything into her basket and then transferred it all into her space.

Looking at the items in her space, Yang Ruxin suddenly burst into laughter at herself. Was she so insecure? She had been stockpiling these past days, and now, the items in her space could probably last three to five people for a year.

Indeed, since she had traveled to this unfamiliar place, despite putting on a tough exterior, in reality, she felt quite insecure. Thankfully, her space provided her with a sense of reliance! And now... it seemed she also had Gu Qingheng.

Thinking of the handsome man, Yang Ruxin’s mood improved even further. She realized that at some point, she had started to see Gu Qingheng as another pillar of emotional support.

There were two roads to the town’s entrance: one was a longer main road, and another was a much shorter alley.

Yang Ruxin chose to go through the alley, wanting to get home sooner.

But just as she entered the alley, she was stopped by someone.

”What do you want to do?” Yang Ruxin looked at the three thuggish-looking men blocking her path, her brow slightly furrowing.

”What do we want to do?” one of the sharp-faced men laughed, ”Naturally, we want to do what you’re thinking.” With a lewd chuckle, he stepped forward to touch Yang Ruxin’s face.

”So, it’s hooliganism then.” Yang Ruxin scoffed, not only not dodging but stepping forward and grabbing the man’s hand.

”Oi, this girl’s quite forward...” The sharp-faced man immediately laughed, ”Don’t worry, brother will make sure to... ah...” But before he could finish his sentence, the originally playful voice suddenly turned into a scream.

”I’ve always liked to take initiative,” Yang Ruxin said with a cunning smile. ”Come on, cry out louder, see if you can draw some people from outside in...” These days, her life had improved, and she was in a good mood. She definitely felt her physical condition getting better, especially her energy and strength. The fatigue from using telekinesis was lessening, and her strength was increasing.

That guy immediately shut his mouth.

The other two were somewhat stunned, but seeing their boss being subdued, they exchanged a glance out of loyalty and charged at her together.

Yang Ruxin was instantly excited. She pinned down the leader with her left hand and in a flash pulled out a dark whip with her right, lashing it at the two men rushing toward her.

How long had it been since she’d had a good fight? Today, she definitely needed a good dose of it.

In her eyes, tussling with the Yang Family’s old house didn’t count as fighting because she didn’t dare to go all out against those people. But these men were different; she could teach them a lesson without holding back.
