The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 343: Chapter 343: Shopkeeper Han (Second Update)_1

Sanni seemed to have completely acknowledged her elder sister’s brilliance. Indeed, knowing both yourself and your opponent is crucial. It looked like she still had much to learn.

Yang Ruxin smiled contentedly and then walked into the Quanshun Building.

Because of some delay earlier, the restaurant was already open at this time, and the waitstaff had started their pre-opening cleaning.

”Young lady, it’s not mealtime yet.” A young waiter came over, ”How about you come back later?”

”Big brother, I’m looking for your shopkeeper.” Yang Ruxin flashed a slightly shy smile, ”To be honest, I have a dish that I’d like him to taste...”

The young waiter was stunned for a moment; he had never seen anyone barge in so brazenly to sell something. Usually, if there was something to be sold, there would be someone familiar leading the way. Otherwise, they wouldn’t dare accept it.

”Don’t worry, it won’t take much time,” Yang Ruxin quickly added, ”I promise that once your shopkeeper tastes it, he will definitely like it.”

”What is this thing that I’m bound to like?” At this moment, a tall and skinny man came down the stairs, ”The young lady sure is confident.”

”Shopkeeper,” the young waiter hastily reported, ”This girl, she...”

Han Baichuan raised his hand to stop the waiter and instead turned to look at Yang Ruxin: ”Miss, don’t you know that restaurants do not casually accept ingredients from strangers?”

”I know,” Yang Ruxin nodded honestly, ”but I’m just a village girl. I don’t know anyone in town, so I had no choice but to come here uninvited.”

”Since you know it’s presumptuous, then please leave,” Han Baichuan said with a smile, turning to walk away.

”Shopkeeper Han, not daring to try new things, no wonder Quanshun Building has always been overshadowed by Baiwei Restaurant,” Yang Ruxin sneered, ”It seems it’s not just a matter of capital and family influence.” Then she turned to leave.

”Wait,” Han Baichuan felt both annoyed and amused by the young girl, ”Little girl, do you know what you’re saying?”

”Of course,” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”I always thought Baiwei Restaurant was successful because of the Shen Family’s strength. No other family could surpass them, but now it seems...”

”You mean to say your dish can surpass Baiwei Restaurant?”

”Whether it can surpass is not for my dish to decide, but I dare say that this new dish I’ve created is guaranteed to be unlike anything else in Lianhua Town, or even Baihua County.”

A glint of interest flashed in Han Baichuan’s eyes.

”Why do those century-old restaurants endure? It’s not just about management; it’s also because they have unique recipes or signature dishes. Just like in those small shops, the Pan Family’s roast chicken technique, the Ma Family’s noodle soup - those are their secrets.” Yang Ruxin gave a challenging look, ”Baiwei Restaurant now has a retired Imperial Chef as their head chef. Everyone wants to try what the Emperor used to eat, so naturally, they do well. But what about Quanshun Building? The Han Family’s ancestral title as Imperial Chef? That’s from the previous dynasty, the chef of a fallen emperor, which might even carry some taboos if mentioned...”

Han Baichuan’s brows furrowed. Why was this girl speaking so bluntly?

”I thought you were a man of courage, Shopkeeper Han, but it turns out you are just someone who sticks to the old ways. If that’s the case...” Yang Ruxin said with a laugh, ”then pretend I was never here.” Saying this, she turned around, took her sister’s hand, and began to walk away.
