After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 1503: Chapter 425: George Huang’s Choice

”Yes, it was his second-to-last pass again, allowing Huang Kaiwen to deliver an assist.”

”Haha, Huang Kaiwen didn’t do much himself today, but he completely activated the two forwards. I figured out Chelsea’s strategy; today, Bale is responsible for pressuring the opponent, then letting Huntelaar and Higuain rush in to shoot, Bale is playing a role similar to Huang Kaiwen on the wing.”

Stamford Bridge has become a sea of joy.

Earlier, seeing the Fleet Street reports, Chelsea fans were worried about the team being eliminated.

But the emergency return of the number ten has completely turned the game one-sided.

Their number ten didn’t even take a shot yet easily crushed the opponents.

Whatever the pass, it’s successful; whatever the shot, it scores.

Emilia Clarke, who specially came to cheer for Huang Kaiwen, couldn’t help but tighten her legs.

He truly is Kevin.

He’s particularly skilled at delivering things to crucial spots.

And he’s both fierce and prolific.

Just 20 minutes in and he’s already provided four assists.

After much deliberation, Leonid Slutsky finally figured one thing out.

That is, Chelsea’s attacking power is something they simply can’t defend against.

What he needs to decide isn’t whether to use penalties or away goals to eliminate Chelsea but how much to concede, more or less.

Thinking of this, he prepared to switch to a three-defensive-midfielder formation.

Only the timing is too early, typically coaches wouldn’t change players this early.

He can only hope the players hold on until halftime.

Leonid Slutsky waved Keisuke Honda over to the sideline, with the translator rushing to follow.

Keisuke Honda tried very hard to learn Russian, but he only knows a few words like good morning, hello.

Slutsky amiably hugged Keisuke Honda and said, ”I know you’re very outstanding, so many Dutch teams want you but you chose us, that shows your judgment. Now there’s an arduous task only you can accomplish, later go back and closely mark that number ten, use your ability to suppress him, he happens to be playing as a defensive midfielder today, you don’t even have to change positions to match against him.”

Central Army’s translator quickly conveyed Slutsky’s message, his Japanese isn’t good, but Keisuke Honda understood the general meaning.

But understanding doesn’t help.

He can’t defend!

Keisuke Honda instantly made a decision.

With a bewildered look, he kept asking the coach to repeat.

One speaking Russian, one clumsy translator, one pretending to act dumb.

The three of them stood by the sideline for a long time, the director’s camera frequently captured the scene.

The referee couldn’t stand it anymore and came up to remind them: ”Quick, get back to the game!”

Keisuke Honda turned and ran.

Slutsky slapped himself hard twice on the face.

He swore never to buy such communication-challenging players again.

An aggregate score of 4:2 isn’t exaggerated, even scoring two more goals could eliminate Chelsea using the away goals rule.

But the Central Army team clearly isn’t united in thought.

With some wanting to attack and others wanting to secure the defense.

Their formation got split instantly.

Ramos made a precise sliding tackle, nudging the ball from Mamayev’s feet behind him.

Huntelaar quickly took the ball with a lateral pass.

Modric was covered by Aldonin upon receiving the ball, with Honda following closely.

Seeing Huang Kaiwen moving forward, Modric immediately had an idea.

He feigned a right-side breakthrough with his right foot, and when Aldonin shifted his steps, Modric immediately flicked the ball to the left, quickly moving past Honda.

The two collided towards Central Army’s penalty area.

Modric kept looking for Huang Kaiwen’s position.

Andre Berezutski emerged from the box, and Modric felt he was about to lose control, quickly nudging the ball with his instep.

Berezutski rushed in, trying to block the pass, but the distance was too close, and he was a step too slow to ground himself.

The ball rolled from beneath Berezutski to Huang Kaiwen, waiting sideways for the ball.

As the ball drew closer, Huang Kaiwen kept standing side-on, and as the ball came before him, he immediately raised his right foot for a backheel.

Thud——

Waiting between Shennikov and Ignashevich, Higuain turned his head right into the penalty box.

Damn, useless!

Akinfeev cursed under his breath, rushing out of the penalty area, Higuain’s first shot hit the diving to block Akinfeev, but the ball returned to Higuain’s foot, he quickly dribbled past the fallen Akinfeev, easily poking the ball into the empty net.

Having scored his first UEFA Champions League hat-trick, Higuain was incredibly excited.

He rushed towards the camera at the sideline, subconsciously making a celebratory pressing-down-the-anchor motion.

Soon, Higuain realized it wasn’t right.

But he didn’t change; otherwise, it would seem abrupt.

He continued with the hands-on-the-nonexistent-bar-lift-and-press action.

His brain frantically searching for an excuse to cover it up.

But Higuain couldn’t find a reasonable explanation no matter how hard he thought.

His face was all smiles, but inside he felt extremely bitter.

One careless act could ruin his career.

Higuain turned around and walked back quickly.

He thought Huang Kaiwen should be able to help him out of this predicament.

Back at midfield, Higuain hastily moved to Huang Kaiwen’s side, stammering: ”Kai, Kevin... my celebration just now was a bit off, how can I find a reasonable explanation?”

If Mourinho and the others found out, his Chelsea career could be over.
