After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

After lunch.

After a brief rest, Huang Kaiwen was dragged out of the hotel by Barbara.

He had no desire to shop at all.

Shopping with a woman was a terrifying ordeal.

But the young lady thought his clothes did not suit his status.

Huang Kaiwen didn’t even know what status he held that warranted such luxury.

As a small-time salary thief, did he even need an ”armor”?

As soon as they left the hotel, the cameras from the car across them began to flash wildly.

Huang Kaiwen didn’t mind, he pursed his lips and asked, ”Are you okay?”

Barbara didn’t respond, she pulled him over and knocked on the car window.

The paparazzi became tense, and only rolled down the window when Barbara refused to let go.

The young lady took out 200 euros from her wallet and threw it into the driver’s seat, authoritatively instructing, ”Make us look good, this money is for your services.”

Huang Kaiwen: ...

Mr. Paparazzi: ...

After getting their car, they headed straight for Montenapoleone Street.

Montenapoleone Street, being the most important and luxurious location in Milan Fashion Quadrangle, was not just a mall, but a street filled with international top-tier brands.

The stores on this street were fully stocked with brands, closest to Milan Cathedral, situated in the heart of Milan’s commercial district, with no shortage of sports cars by the street, and Barbara’s car did not stand out at all.

Seeing this environment, Huang Kaiwen knew this place wouldn’t be cheap.

VALENTINO, FERRAGAMO, LOEWE, CELINE, VAN CLEEF&ARPELS...

He recognized some of these storefronts, and some he had never seen before, all of them luxury brands he had glimpsed only online.

A piece of clothing costing thousands or even more expensive was never his kind of thing.

Even though he was quite rich now, cross-border payments were not very convenient, especially when trying to exchange foreign currency. He followed Milan in a rush and hadn’t managed all these affairs.

It’s safe to say he couldn’t spend his money from back home.

The club hadn’t given him his advance salary yet.

Today, Huang was destined to spend a woman’s money.

Huang Kaiwen never cared about such trivial matters; he was a firm supporter of gender equality. If women could spend men’s money, men could spend women’s money, everyone based on their own capabilities.

Before, just being a typist who didn’t have a handsome face meant he couldn’t enjoy such benefits, but now he finally felt compensated—truly, justice was served!

After entering the store, there were no demeaning incidents like being looked down upon by snobby store staff.

Which actually left him somewhat disappointed.

Having written countless of such scenarios before, today with an official’s child shielding him, he found no opportunity to blow his top, utterly unable to satisfy his wicked sense of humor.

”Try this one.”

Barbara handed Huang Kaiwen a black casual suit jacket, the tag with a price of 2800 euros fully reflected the worth of Fendi, this local Italian brand.

After he put it on, Huang Kaiwen felt quite good, but Barbara frowned and said, ”It’s not suitable for you, try this one instead.”

Another black one.

He completely failed to see the difference between the two suit jackets.

Following that, Huang Kaiwen became a mannequin.

Barbara kept bringing out new clothes for him to try on, then changing them again and again.

After several hours and spending tens of thousands of euros on two outfits, the young lady finally, satisfied, dragged him to the movie theater.

In his home territory, Huang Kaiwen was naturally unreserved.

Mr. Lu said, ”Darkness gives us black eyes, yet I use them to seek the light.”

In this pitch-black environment, he began searching for ”bright spots.”

”Ah, how annoying!”

Barbara couldn’t help exclaiming and snapped at Huang Kaiwen, though she didn’t indicate for him to remove his hand.

She shifted her position slightly, which actually made it more convenient for Huang Kaiwen’s actions.

As the movie plot progressed, Barbara got so nervous that she sweated profusely, biting her lip with concern for the protagonist’s predicament, and Huang Kaiwen couldn’t understand why a comedy could be so thrilling.

By the time the movie ended, the young lady was carried out by him.

Barbara, getting close, said she would help him tidy up his place and shamelessly followed him back to the newly rented mansion.

Dinner was still prepared by Huang Kaiwen.

That night, listening to the creaking bed, he felt that the 18,000 euros per month Barbara paid was definitely too high.

”AC Milan announces that a fan meet-and-greet for the newly signed Chinese football prodigy, Kevin Wong, will be held at San Siro on Sunday. It is reported that the 21-year-old Kevin Wong has never received any football training and his major in college wasn’t even sports-related. However, his display of exceptional talent during AC Milan’s tour in China, where he stormed the field, convinced the team’s spokesperson who said it took only one second for the team to decide to offer him a hefty contract, a first in history for any player’s professional debut contract.

From the footage of that day, he indeed is a genius, an illogical genius. Yet, what’s concerning is that on his second day in Milan City, he met Barbara Berlusconi and spent the night at the hotel they were staying in. According to the room next door, they almost demolished the hotel.

It must be said, Kevin Wong has overturned my impression of Asians; he is more like a South American or European which also raises my concerns whether he might end up like the talented Gascoigne destroyed by women and alcohol.”

In a restaurant where AC Milan fans gathered, someone read out today’s review from Milan Sports Newspaper.

The fans nearby immediately started arguing.

”Damn it, that paper must be bought by Inter Milan, I’ve watched that kid play on TV, he is a super genius. If he falls, it’s definitely because our opponents hired a wizard to curse him,” a tall, thin fan exclaimed angrily.

Mbappe: I believe you’re right, and I hired a wizard to counteract.

The chubby fan sitting with him scooped the last piece of egg into his mouth and muttered indistinctly, ”We all know what our owner is like, it seems his daughter is the same, that young lady has a lot of scandals. I’m more concerned she’ll drain our new player dry, turning him into a jellyfish.”

”Look at the brighter side, he might not face any problems. You know the Milan Sports Newspaper just likes to exaggerate stories; that kid might lead us to championships along with Kaka and Shevchenko.”

”The paper does get some things right though; I didn’t even know Chinese people played football before.”

”Andrew, you must be an idiot because the Chinese Team participated in the World Cup two years ago, the one where we were screwed by the referee bribed by the South Koreans.”

”Right, I remember now. The Chinese really should take strong measures against the South Koreans; when will they take a place back like Xiangjiang?”

The yet-to-debut on the field, Huang Kaiwen, was already fast becoming a sensation among local fans.
