Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 588: Chapter 588: Astound the Whole Audience

Lin Dong looked at the person kneeling before him and recognized him.

It was the patient he had seen at the county Traditional Chinese Medicine Shop a few days ago when he went to get medicine for Li Yanran.

At that time, he saw the old TCM doctor treating the patient, and Lin Dong mentioned a few things: that the patient not only had lung disease but also a liver problem.

His liver disease had already become cirrhotic, and if it wasn’t treated, he wouldn’t live much longer.

When Lin Dong said these words, the patient didn’t believe him, claiming he was fine.

With the thought of saving a life being more virtuous than creating a seven-story pagoda, Lin Dong left an address, telling him to go to the hotel to find him if he fell ill.

Indeed, as Lin Dong had said, this Leader Liu had taken ill; today, he felt very uncomfortable, with severe pain in his liver. So, he went to the hospital.

After an examination at the hospital, they declared he was in the late stages of liver disease and instructed him to prepare for the end!

He was terrified on the spot and remembered what Lin Dong had said a few days ago. He hurriedly went to the hotel to find Lin Dong.

However, upon arriving at the hotel, he didn’t find Lin Dong but got information from the hotel that pointed him to Ah Lang, who was staying in the same room as Lin Dong.

Ah Lang told him that Lin Dong was here to attend a wedding.

Therefore, Leader Liu immediately rushed to the wedding to find Lin Dong.

The moment he saw Lin Dong, he didn’t hesitate and immediately knelt before him, hoping Lin Dong would save his life.

And this scene, of course, astonished everyone present.

The bride, Chen Jing, couldn’t help but say, ”Leader Liu, are you mistaken? Lin Dong hasn’t even been to university; he isn’t a doctor at all. How could he treat any sickness?”

The other classmates were all dazed and in disbelief, recalling the incident with Zhang Zhihao and wondering if Lin Dong really was a Divine Doctor.

Zhang Zhihao still didn’t believe Lin Dong could be a Divine Doctor, and he said to Leader Liu, ”Leader Liu, you must be mistaken. What could he possibly cure?”

”Shut your mouth! He is a real Divine Doctor. Just a few days ago, he glanced at me and diagnosed my liver disease! Now he’s the only one who can save me,”

he said before pleading with Lin Dong again, ”Divine Doctor, I beg you, please save me.”

There were many teachers and leaders from County No.1 Middle School there, and they started speaking out one after another.

One of them was Lin Dong’s former homeroom teacher.

His Teacher, recognizing Lin Dong, couldn’t help but say,

”Lin Dong, can you really cure illness? If you can, please help Leader Liu. Leader Liu is a good leader; he has made significant contributions to our county’s education system.”

The others also began to speak, earnestly begging Lin Dong to treat him.

Even Huang Tao said, ”Lin Dong, if you can truly cure Leader Liu, then please help him.”

Seeing so many teachers speak up for Leader Liu, Lin Dong thought he must be a decent leader.

So he nodded and said, ”Okay, then I’ll treat you!”

Having said that, Lin Dong took out the Silver Needle and began to treat Leader Liu on the spot.

”Don’t pretend to know what you’re doing, Lin Dong. If you cause someone’s death, you’re going to prepare yourself for prison in your next life!” Zhang Zhihao continued to speak with strange Ying and Yang Qi, naturally still disbelieving that Lin Dong was a Divine Doctor.

Lin Dong glanced at him and said, ”Do you think I’m like you? All day long, just acting like a pretentious prick, when you’re nothing at all!”

Zhang Zhihao, rebuked by Lin Dong, was red-faced and yelled:

”Well, I’ve got to see if you can cure Leader Liu. If you can’t, you’re done...”

Ignoring him, Lin Dong began to focus on treating Leader Liu.

”Shua shua shua~”

He used the Taiyi Yin-yang Divine Needle and simultaneously inserted seven Silver Needles into Leader Liu’s body.

After the Silver Needles were inserted, Leader Liu’s eyes exuded yellow liquid, and he began vomiting a yellowish substance. His body convulsed as if he was about to die.

Seeing this, Zhang Zhihao immediately said, ”Lin Dong, this is obviously getting worse. You’ve caused his Seven Orifices to ooze pus.”

Chen Jing screamed, ”Are you sick, Lin Dong? My wedding is a happy occasion, and if you kill someone, especially Leader Liu, I will hate you for the rest of my life!”

The other classmates also spoke out.

”I told you so, how could someone who hasn’t gone to university possibly cure diseases!”

”Lin Dong has really caused a disaster; just to act like a pretentious prick, he’s put his life on the line.”

”While Zhang Zhihao acts pretentiously, he’s just bragging about knowing some big shots, which is irrelevant. But Lin Dong is pretending to be a Divine Doctor and actually starting to treat people directly—now he’s done it, he’s going to kill someone.”

”Lin Dong is done for; he’s going to spend his next life in prison.”

”...”

Listening to the surrounding people’s comments, Lin Dong was speechless.

Seeing the reactions of classmates like Zhang Zhihao and Chen Jing, it seemed as though they would be glad if he killed Leader Liu and went to prison for it.

Just can’t stand to see others do well, can they?

Is this what’s called old classmates?

Can’t stand to see others do well?

”Who said I was killed by the Divine Doctor? Do you all wish me dead?”

At this moment, Leader Liu had stopped convulsing and got up from the ground, speaking loudly.

Everyone looked at each other in disbelief.

”Leader Liu, are you alright?” everyone hurriedly asked.

Leader Chen nodded emphatically and then made a respectful gesture towards Lin Dong, saying with immense gratitude, ”Thank you, Divine Doctor, for saving my life!”

”After I vomited, I felt unprecedentedly light. My liver doesn’t hurt anymore, and I distinctly feel much better.”

Lin Dong said, ”I’ll prescribe a formula for you. If you follow this formula and undergo two more courses of treatment, the liver disease in your body can be completely eradicated.”

After saying this, he wrote a prescription for Leader Liu.

Once written, he handed it to Leader Liu.

Leader Liu treasured the prescription as if it were priceless and carefully put it away.

Witnessing this scene, Zhang Zhihao and the others were all dumbfounded.

Huang Tao and Chen Jing were also astounded.

”Lin Dong, have you really become a Divine Doctor?” Chen Jing couldn’t help but ask.

At this moment, another commotion came from the door.

Then, someone exclaimed in surprise,

”There are many soldiers from the war department coming here!”
